I never leave reviews but I definetly would love to say how happy we are w/Audrey & her grooming services. My dog Panda has gone several places to get groomed and he gets denied because he just doesn't behave and growls alot but once we told Audrey about him she said let me try and he did amazing. I have not changed groomers ever since as Audrey is very good with my 2 dogs. She is very flexible, caring and her prices are affordable.

My dog was very damaged by this groomer. He is very small and admittedly anxious about being groomed. I received him back from the groomer with multiple wounds and scrapes from the shaving implement. His ears and tops of his paws were raw and developed heavy scabs from the injuries. The groomer never mentioned any of it when she gave him back to me. She didn't even say he was hard to groom. He was very traumatized and is now nearly impossible to groom. And yes, this is the correct mobile dog grooming business. I double checked before posting and found her photo on the images for this company. read more

This is an amazing service and we were absolutely impressed. Billy handled our large babies with so much kindness and grace. They immediately felt so comfortable with him! Billy was early to the appointment time and did meticulous work. We have not had great experiences with dog groomers, so we were very apprehensive and our large shedding dogs needed some much TLC. At the end, they looked and smelled amazing!! On top of all that Billy also deshedded our babies more so than we have ever seen them- thank you so much!! Two words: AWESOME Groomer! My grandson has raved about Audrey's grooming skills . I found her on social media and was able to look at her before and after grooming pics. I have a 17-year-old bichon/poo. We've lived in Phoenix for a while now. I found one groomer who did a good job and then she quit . I since then have yet to find a groomer that will give him a proper cut, instead they'd rather shave him down to his pink skin. I booked an appointment with Audrey as we were coming to California for the holidays. We were ecstatic to see what an absolutely wonderful job she did on grooming our little old man. When I got him back he was in no way nervous as I have seen him like this prior with other groomers. I was confident that she was caring and gentle with our old guy as I know she herself has a geriatric pet. I highly recommend her services, you'll be so happy you did. If I can do no stars that would be me.. I made an appointment 2 weeks prior and last minute they told me they weren't be able to groom my dog cause she was to big but their site shows German shepherds and labs on there.. waste of time... I tried to support local business and they don't want any support.. don't waste your time or money there.. all good petsmart took her in right away.. gonna try foxy like roxy.. fyi my pup is alot sweeter than them asshole little dogs you deal with read more

My name is Audrey and I am the owner of Deeogees Mobile Grooming. I opened my business six years ago in 2019. In total, I’ve been a groomer 28 years. My goal as a groomer is always to give the pet a good experience and leave happy and beautiful. I do not take large breeds anymore but I will gladly take dogs under 40 pounds. I specialize in special needs grooming. Such as aggressive dogs, timid dogs, senior dogs, dogs banned from grooming, salons, and dogs with separation anxiety. As a mobile groomer, the dog will feel safe close to home and close to the owner, and I love that. My goal is to always make the dog feel comfortable and safe. There are no cages in Mobile Grooming, one on one interaction, and door to door service. Please reach out if Mobile Grooming is something you are searching for for your fur baby. I have been grooming for 28 years. I started off as a bather in a small shop. Then I was taught to prep dogs. Once I mastered that I was taught to groom the dogs all the way through. I had amazing woman to show me different techniques. Once I knew that this was what I was meant to do in life it was skies the limit. Although it took me many years to open my own business I am very blessed to have many of my pet parents follow me in my journey. This is my passion and I strive to make the pets I groom experience a stress free groom as well as provide less stress for their owners!

Meet the Business Owner: Audrey H.

In order to work with animals it’s super important to have a connection with them. Growing up I always new I did. I did not however know i’d become a groomer. But here I am 28 years later absolutely in love with my job and super blessed to make pets beautiful! I have five dogs in my own. Four toy poodles and a Maltese. I used to have a toy poodle and a husky prior to these ones. I would have to say that I am a huge dog lover. They are a huge part of my life. And I would not have it any other way. Being a groomer is huge when it comes to taking care of someone else’s pet. I’ve always known that no matter what dog I groom, I will treat as if they were my own because I would not want anything, but that from another groomer for my own pet. I am not just a dog groomer to my clients. I have built many many friendships and relationships over the years and I value that.

Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. Asked them to brush his teeth and grind his nails, to which they accomplished (at least his breath smells better). With that said, I was told they would contact me 20 minutes before he's ready for pickup, they did not. They messaged me when he was done. No big deal. When I picked him up, immediately noticed the uneven cut job. As we're driving home, noticed A BUNCH of dirt left in his coat. Makes me question if they bathed him, and if they did, they didnt do a good thorough job. Also started to notice the uneven cut throughout his body, from his stomach where they left bunches of fur, to his back, which seemed as though they used two sizes for razors. They cut him (most likely by accident) but just reinforces my suspicion that they rushed through his entire "grooming". For the $100 package, counting $15 for dental/nail grinding, I can't say I'm not disappointed. Unfortunately, will not be coming back. Sincerely disappointed :( I will have to bathe him again, give him a complete haircut, and finish areas they didnt even attempt too, such as the hair under his nose going into his mouth.

I brought my dog Bentley to Hair of the Dog after being referred by a friend when my regular groomer was temporarily unavailable. Bentley has been professionally groomed his entire life and never had to be shaved. He has been groomed consistently since he was 8 weeks old and, in the year and a half I've had him, he has never once been shaved down. From the moment I walked in, the experience felt off. The staff was rude and dismissive, and after I arrived, I was informed that Bentley had to be picked up by 1:00 p.m. because they were closing early that day. This was never disclosed when I booked the appointment. I specifically told them I was driving to Irvine and would have difficulty getting back that quickly. Frankly, if they had special hours that day, that should have been communicated before the appointment was accepted, not after I had already dropped my dog off. The groomer then told me Bentley was matted and needed to be shaved. We actually argued about. I explained that he had been groomed regularly his entire life and had never needed that before. Even so, I tried to compromise and told her that if some shaving was necessary, I absolutely did not want him shaved all the way down to the skin. About 20-30 minutes after I left, they called and said he was ready. Think about that. After insisting my dog was so matted that he needed to be shaved down, they somehow completed the entire groom in roughly 20-30 minutes. Because of the surprise pickup requirement they imposed, I wasn't even able to pick him up myself. I had to arrange for someone else to leave what they were doing and go get him because I was still in Irvine exactly where I told them I would be. When I finally saw Bentley, I was shocked and upset as was he for months. It definitely affected his demeanor he walked around depressed and seemed like a completely different dog. They had shaved him almost completely to the skin. It was nothing close to what I requested, nothing close to what I expected, and completely ignored the concerns I expressed beforehand. To make matters worse, his nails were not properly addressed, and within a couple of weeks I had to take him to the vet because of issues with his anal glands which they never even asked me about . Whether those issues should have been identified during grooming or not, it only added to my frustration with the overall quality of care. The worst part was feeling like no one listened. I trusted them with a dog that is a member of my family. Instead, I felt rushed, dismissed, pressured into a decision I wasn't comfortable with, and then ignored when I specifically asked them not to shave him down. Months later, his coat is still growing back but no where near what his beautiful coat was he has been growing since a baby I will never bring Bentley back, and I absolutely cannot recommend Hair of the Dog based on my experience. Steer clear of these mean people!!!!!

We would have payed to have him bathed!! Also, per usual, they sent pictures of him supposedly having fun but never any mention of him having accidents. This will be the last time we will use this business as phone calls and email to talk to management yielded no response, so I guess they have enough clientele that loosing us will not be a big deal. I am so happy to have been referred to Dee-O-Gee's Mobile Grooming by the owner's childhood friend, Laura. From the very first time my Lhasa girl and I met Audrey, we knew we had found someone special. My girl did not bark even once while I was holding her or when Audrey held her. I think the previous groomer got tired of dealing with my girl. She was afraid to have her paws touched, barked a lot and had to be medicated before she could even go to the groomer's. They were the ones who suggested I find a mobile groomer. One even suggested that I might think about giving her away to a family member or friend. Audrey is known for taking on difficult dogs, the ones other groomers don't want to groom. Audrey also told me we might not have to medicate my girl when she groomed her. My Lhasa Apso Princess "Navi Grace" and I consider Audrey to be our "special" friend. If you are looking for a groomer who is kind, loving, caring and compassionate, Audrey is that groomer. The website listed a grooming range of $180-$250 for our dog's size and coat type. Our concern is not that pricing can vary, but that the final price should be determined and clearly communicated before the service is performed, not after it has already been completed. Our dog is an indoor husky who is groomed regularly, brushed frequently at home, and had been professionally groomed only a few weeks prior. Despite this, we were charged both the maximum grooming price and the maximum impactation fee, bringing the total cost to approximately $300. When we asked what specifically qualified our dog for the impactation fee and why the maximum fee was applied, we never received a clear answer. We were repeatedly told that the office staff handles billing while the groomers focus on the dogs, yet no one could explain exactly what condition justified the additional charge or how the amount was determined. We also raised concerns that our dog was returned to us still damp and continued shedding afterward, which left us questioning whether the service matched the premium price we were charged. To be clear, the groomer himself was kind, professional, and handled our dog well. Our issue is not with him personally. Our frustration is with the lack of transparency regarding pricing, the conflicting information we received, and the inability to obtain a clear explanation for the additional charges. Another frustration was how our concerns were addressed. Rather than directly answering our questions regarding the impactation fee and final pricing, much of the response focused on the fact that we did not raise our concerns until approximately an hour after the appointment and that the groomer had been tipped. To us, neither of those points addresses the actual issue. Tipping the groomer was a reflection of our appreciation for how he treated our dog, not an acknowledgment that we understood or agreed with every charge. Likewise, whether concerns are raised five minutes later or an hour later does not change the fact that we were never informed of the final cost before the service was completed. Had we been told beforehand that the final cost would be approximately $300, we likely would not have proceeded with the appointment. Customers deserve to know what they will be charged before the work is completed and should receive clear explanations when additional fees are assessed. UPDATE: After posting this review, the company responded to my wife, and unfortunately their response only reinforced our concerns. At no point did we request a refund. We did not argue that mobile grooming should be inexpensive, nor did we dispute that it is a luxury service. In fact, before moving to the area, we routinely paid approximately $300 to have our husky professionally groomed and had no issue doing so because the pricing was transparent and clearly communicated beforehand. We were excited to try this company because it offered the convenience of mobile grooming at a price that appeared lower than what we had previously paid elsewhere. The issue was never whether we could afford the service. The issue was transparency. When we repeatedly asked what specifically justified the maximum grooming fee and maximum impactation fee, those questions were never directly answered. Instead, the company suggested that we were "price sensitive," that their pricing may not be "in our bracket," that we could find "$50 grooming somewhere nearby," or that we should groom our dog ourselves. We found those comments dismissive and unprofessional. Customers should be able to ask reasonable questions about billing and pricing transparency without having assumptions made about their finances. This entire situation could have been avoided with a simple explanation of the charges before the service was completed. Even afterward, a clear explanation would have resolved our concerns. Instead, we received personal remarks that had nothing to do with the questions we asked. For anyone considering this business, I strongly encourage you to obtain a final price before grooming begins and ask how any additional fees will be assessed and communicated.

I have wanted to write this review…read morefor months because every time I look at the pictures from this grooming appointment, I get angry all over again. I brought my dog Bentley to Hair of the Dog after being referred by a friend when my regular groomer was temporarily unavailable. Bentley has been professionally groomed his entire life and never had to be shaved. He has been groomed consistently since he was 8 weeks old and, in the year and a half I've had him, he has never once been shaved down. From the moment I walked in, the experience felt off. The staff was rude and dismissive, and after I arrived, I was informed that Bentley had to be picked up by 1:00 p.m. because they were closing early that day. This was never disclosed when I booked the appointment. I specifically told them I was driving to Irvine and would have difficulty getting back that quickly. Frankly, if they had special hours that day, that should have been communicated before the appointment was accepted, not after I had already dropped my dog off. The groomer then told me Bentley was matted and needed to be shaved. We actually argued about. I explained that he had been groomed regularly his entire life and had never needed that before. Even so, I tried to compromise and told her that if some shaving was necessary, I absolutely did not want him shaved all the way down to the skin. About 20-30 minutes after I left, they called and said he was ready. Think about that. After insisting my dog was so matted that he needed to be shaved down, they somehow completed the entire groom in roughly 20-30 minutes. Because of the surprise pickup requirement they imposed, I wasn't even able to pick him up myself. I had to arrange for someone else to leave what they were doing and go get him because I was still in Irvine exactly where I told them I would be. When I finally saw Bentley, I was shocked and upset as was he for months. It definitely affected his demeanor he walked around depressed and seemed like a completely different dog. They had shaved him almost completely to the skin. It was nothing close to what I requested, nothing close to what I expected, and completely ignored the concerns I expressed beforehand. To make matters worse, his nails were not properly addressed, and within a couple of weeks I had to take him to the vet because of issues with his anal glands which they never even asked me about . Whether those issues should have been identified during grooming or not, it only added to my frustration with the overall quality of care. The worst part was feeling like no one listened. I trusted them with a dog that is a member of my family. Instead, I felt rushed, dismissed, pressured into a decision I wasn't comfortable with, and then ignored when I specifically asked them not to shave him down. Months later, his coat is still growing back but no where near what his beautiful coat was he has been growing since a baby I will never bring Bentley back, and I absolutely cannot recommend Hair of the Dog based on my experience. Steer clear of these mean people!!!!!

I love this grooming shop. I have been coming here for years and have never once been disappointed. The service and results are always consistent, and the grooming is impeccable. I really appreciate how the groomer listens to me and is able to translate my wishes into results. The location is clean, organized, the staff is always !!pleasant, making an appointment is always easy, and the prices are very reasonable! I can't imagine taking my Zoe, which is a Yorkie to another place because I truly feel the results would be unmatched. The location is a little distance from my home, but it is totally worth the travel time. Five stars all the way

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and booking appointments online is quick and easy. They also sometimes accept walk-ins, which is really convenient. The self-wash stations are great--they provide the bathtub, unlimited shampoo (with the option to upgrade), blow dryer, and brushes, so you don't have to bring anything with you. It makes bath time simple and stress-free. I'm very picky about who takes care of my dogs, and I've always felt comfortable here. My little one gets haircuts here and they've done a fantastic job every time. I also really appreciate that there are no cages, so dogs don't feel trapped or stressed. In the front, there's a TV where you can sit and watch your dog being groomed if you want. Whether you're looking for grooming services or just a self-wash station, this place is clean, convenient, and truly cares about pets. Highly recommend!

We usually book 2 tubs, wash our own Shepherd & Lab, in tubs where they can see each other. Our Shepherd doesn't love the water but when she see's our lab enjoying it, she settles down. Vis-versa on the nails, when our Lab sees our Shepherd on the table getting her ears cleaned & a manicure (while nibbling on a delicious treat, celery, broccoli stock, or one of their chew sticks dipped in my peanut butter), he attentively awaits his turn on the table!
