Last year in October 2024, I desperately needed to find a groomer for my 10 year old white cat with blue eyes, pink nose & ears, but who is also deaf. Her hair was out of control shedding & the weather was insanely hot up to 113° so getting her bathed & shaved was not just for comfort but a necessity. Her regular groomer retired years ago & it's a BIG challenge to find a groomer who is not just good with cats, but who can handle grouchy older aggressive ones. Took her to Petco but that was a complete bust! They attempted to groom her but managed to only shave her partially, which left my cat looking utterly embarrassing. I've been coming to Heavenly Paws for years, and they always do a wonderful job grooming my dogs. The staff is friendly, and they always do a great job. The only downside is the wait time... My dogs are often there for 4+ hours! ! I understand they have many pets to care for, but it would be great if appointments were scheduled so the pets are groomed closer to their drop-off time, rather than sitting in a cage for hours. Overall, I do recommend them for their quality, but I hope they can improve the scheduling process. read more

We started coming here after another pet groomer changed our appointment without letting us know. Our furbaby has been having bad allergies for awhile, so I was looking for somewhere that was experienced in this. Heavenly Paws did such an amazing job with our dog! They were very sweet from the minute we walked in and treated us like we were long time clients. We got our dog Harley in for grooming and added on the mud bath to help with his skin and coat. We also added on teeth brushing. Grooming includes nail trimming but no filing, so we will add that on next time. They tend to book up so I highly recommend making an appointment. We got in around 9am with our appointment and within a few hours Harley was ready to be picked up! They were so great with answering our questions when we arrived and gave recommendations on some things we can add to his diet that should help with the itching. Harley was so soft and smelled amazing! They even threw on a cute little bandana. It is a little on the pricey side, but I think it's fair with all the work they do here. I believe every dog owner knows his/her dog. I was told 65$for my small breed over the phone. When I picked up my dog it was $75. Girl said she charged that because when trimming his face he kept moving (OKAY). I've trimmed my dogs hair and he's the most humbled dog. Then she said he kept moving while trimming his nail. I specifically told them he didn't need nails clipped. So BEWARE IF YOUR DOG breathes the wrong way or farts, they will charge you an extra fee. What a dumb way to get an extra $15 dollars for something stupid and then a negative experience (review). Regardless if I signed the policy, I know my pet does not have behavioral issues. If this is how your business is ran over a couple extra bucks then, I feel bad for your business! I'll give you a 4 star tho, but please don't do that to other customers. Specially elders. read more

I have taken my Chihuahua here several times for a basic nail trimming. My daughter has been visiting me from Long Beach and asked where would I recommend her taking her dog to get groomed. Now mind you this is a dog gets groomed every two months regardless. Very well behaved , very mellow . And they even mentioned that as I picked her up. Their prices are ridiculous absolutely ridiculous Number 1 : $65 for a basic haircut and grooming is insane. They said that's the base starting price. Again this dog lives in Long Beach and gets groomed every two months and we've never had a problem. But yesterday they said she was spinning and it was uncontrollable. So Another $7 dollars was added!! All that you could have just asked me for a seven dollar tip. No need to lie, But the main thing they said she hit her eye on a steel bar. Explain to me how she hit her eye ON THE INSIDE!! It's red and you can see she was not taken care of. Her appointment was 11 o'clock. Why did it take you five hours to get the dog groomed. I did not pick up Luna until after 410. unacceptable. I don't know what went on with this poor dog within those five hours but she is never going to be the same for what went on in that place. She came home so thirsty she drank her whole bowl of water. Shame on you and I will be seeking legal action!! STAY FAR AWAY read more
