She is creative with different poses and made sure she got the correct angles and lighting as we were hitting sunset. We were on a very busy location on a Saturday evening and yet she made sure she captured little to none additional individuals in the shot. She provided a good amount of images and in addition had the option to enhance images. All images were clear and on spot, we had a difficult time select photos to enhance due to the great quality of work originally provided. Captured every moment and made my experience so much better and fun. Not to mention the photo's were available the next day and the editing took less than a day as promised. In less than 24hr we had our final product. I strongly recommend her and if I could rate her work higher than 5 stars, I would do it in a heart beat. We had regular planning Zoom calls leading up to the wedding, and she was always available via email to answer any questions along the way. Michelle's industry expertise was evident in every detail--she even suggested the location for our first look, which we absolutely loved. She provided us with a super helpful planning Google Sheet and always asked the right questions during our calls, even bringing up things we wouldn't have thought of on our own. On our wedding day, Michelle and her team kept everything running according to plan. She stayed with us until the reception was underway, then left her trusted team in charge so she could be home for bedtime with her new baby. We first spoke to Katie for an initial call and she was really knowledgable and friendly that I was sad to hear we would be working with another coordinator, but Emily happily jumped on a call to ease any worries I may have had. We went with the Month of Coordination service which allowed us to do most of the planning ourselves (most of our vendors were locked in early on, but MB provides a lovely list of vendors they've worked with in case it's needed). Emily had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire (you can tell they know what they're doing with the questions being asked) and went over every detail with us, including areas we were still figuring out. She was available for any questions I had as well leading up to the day, made sure to reach out to all of our vendors with the master timeline, and even provided some guidance for my cousin that was officiating for the first time. A big bonus is how many weddings they've coordinated at Walnut Grove that they're very familiar with the venue and the folks from Command Performance Catering. Valeska, the owner of Kobear Photography is very accommodating and kind. She is patient and just really wants to get the best photos possible. We loved that about her. When covid hit, we had to downsize our wedding and changed the location to our home. Valeska still took our wedding photos despite covid and all the changes that we made. She brought two assistants and was such a sweetheart. She also set up a photobooth which my guests loved. She was timely with the production of the photos and even sent us a sneak peak set of photos. We figured that we would be able to do the whole thing ourselves and a few months into the planning we decided that we needed some serious help. We needed someone to help us pick quality, affordable vendors, and we especially needed help with organization and coordination. After calling around to several planners we came across Dana and she stole our hearts! Dana helped us draw up a budget and her relationships with certain vendors saved us hundreds!! We had a slight mishap with the photo booth I had originally hired for the wedding (pre-Dana) and two weeks beforehand were photo booth-less. I was devastated because this was one thing that I had my heart set on. Mike and I called Dana to tell her what happened and within 24 hours she had a new photo booth booked and ready to go. Not only was the new photo booth more accommodating and overall better quality, but we also saved over $300! I was thrilled and so were our guests (there was a line for the photo booth all night!) On the day of my wedding I had to lean on Dana more than I had imagined and she was so wonderful and really made my day extra special. I hadn't eaten all day and she made sure to have champagne and hors d'oeuvres ready to go in our room right after the ceremony while my new husband and I enjoyed some alone time as newlyweds. We had met Dana and her sister Marni through an open house at the OCR, where the two had come highly recommended by our venue. Dana had so much experience and knowledge of the wedding industry, so we were very excited to work with her. We hired her for the Day of Wedding Coordinator package. Through the wedding planning process, Dana was very helpful and offered up tips and vendor suggestions. She was always easy to reach on the phone and communicate any wedding planning questions I had. When I was struggling to find a proper location for our rehearsal dinner, Dana went above and beyond finding some excellent options for us. Dana and Marni were responsible for coordinating everything a month leading up to our wedding with our vendors/venue, orchestrating a rehearsal, and managing everything for the day of our wedding. They both did a good job, but several of our friends and family noted that it felt like they were working more for the venue than for the bride and groom. The venue wanted cars moved from the property before the ceremony, Dana asked our photographer to move his car immediately, even though he was taking photos of our family in that moment. I wish Dana had taken it upon herself to move his vehicle instead of taking our photographer away from an important moment. Because of that we ended up with only two photos of us with my parents. Overall, I was appreciative of Dana's work at our wedding, I just wish her focus had been a bit more on our wedding and not to appease the venue's owners.

Something I thought the photographer would have done esp for such a hefty price tag. Almost 2 years later, I am still disappointed when I look at the images, and it has taken me this long to even wrote a review. Wedding pictures are supposed to be something you look back and with complete excitement and happiness. I don't get those feelings at all. I feel stressed when I look at them and disappointment.
