I have been a customer here for years, and wow, service has gone downhill. I have an older ski…read moreboat but have committed my business to Great Lakes since they have done so much work on the engine, electrical. I have had to take back the boat multiple times with out it being fixed correctly the first time. This most current time is after paying 3k for new pulleys and belts, water pump, impeller, the boat never ran right leaving us stranded twice on the lake. The worst is yet to come, the house that service built, is a joke to me now. The gentlemen got upset with me asking for a part # to see if I could expedite it so I could keep family plans for the weekend and not disappoint people coming to town to enjoy the lake. He cussed on the phone and refuses to talk to me know. Each time I ask for he manager Kevin, he is not there. I am human I make mistakes, we all do, I am giving them a chance, but I asked for transparency and communication which I did not receive. No apologies ever just an excuse that they are human and they make mistakes. I understand this as a person who helps others in recovery, we all do. I am asking for simple service and customer service steps. Hopefully they can call me back to be communicative, set an expectation and show some sense of urgency for my time, my money and my plans. I would not recommend going if you want simple service, and good communication and putting the customer first. All 3 they failed on, and in an ever more competitive world you would think service is what would stand you apart from the competition.

The owner Donnie was incredibly helpful when I had to stop in after getting my RV serviced here the…read moreday before. I got this sewer valve fixed, along with adding sensors to the water tanks. It was $611 but unfortunately it all needed done. The day I got it back, my step was not going in to get into the house part of the RV. I was able to swing back by the next day and apparently the little step magnet fell off. Donnie was quick to not only fix that, but also looked at a leak on the outdoor shower, and replaced a knob that was broken. All of this that no charge since I was in there the day before, getting the other repairs done. He even hooked up a diagnostic machine to see if I have a DEF fluid sensor. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were going to have a safe road trip that day. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain RV Repair! Five stars!

I just saved a trip to Elkhart!!…read more We live in a Thor Palazzo RV full time. We've been stranded multiple times because we couldn't get our right (kitchen) slide to retract. We discussed this with Thor and they suggested we come back to the factory to get it addressed. We couldn't decide if it was alignment our the controller. With winter, we opted to deal with it until spring. Over the past 4 weeks, we were again stranded 3 times. The first time, Thor service gave us a tip on reversing the wiring at the controller (under the right side bay). That worked and got us on the road. The next stop had the same issue and again we were stranded. A local mechanic showed me a process to override the controller and again got us on the road. We recently hit Denver for two weeks so I began looking for a way to get it fixed. After three calls to Lazy Days RV which were never returned, I talked to a Overall RV. They were helping me with a frozen valve in the water bay. Turns out the tech was the owner...he and his partner did slide alignments at Camping World for years. They looked at my slide and measured the alignment. I was off by more the 1 1/2 inches, top to bottom putting a strain on the motors and the controller. They gave me an estimate to fix it on site. The cost to drive to Elkhart IN along with continued frustration made my decision easy... two hours later, they aligned the slide, checked the controller and motors, lubbedd the tracks, checked the rollers and tested the slide at least 8 times. They ended their appointment by telling me they reduced my expense by $200! Because only one end of the slide was off track, their labor was less... Oh and they did this work on New Year's Day! A huge shout out to Overall RV Service in Denver CO. They walked me through every step of the process so I would understand what they were doing and how I could keep up with maintenance going forward. They never said a negative word about Thor or the Palazzo and demonstrated a strong knowledge of the rig and systems. Awesome job and keeps us on the road! We love our Palazzo. There are things I can and cannot do on my own. When we find a good technician and honest business, we do our best to let the folks know. If in this area and need help, give them a call... They spent that time to take pictures and record everything that was leaking and cracking. Didn't charge me ANYTHING, only told me I need to take it back. Which I did. When I went back to discuss the issue, they acknowledged that the complaint was in the system, but the tech did not see it because they are "two different systems" Classic our poor systems are a customer problem type of mentality.
