Very unfortunate that we brought our Macfox Ebike here for some work. They added an extra battery, and replaced the controller and some other electrical components. It never worked right, and after 37 days, it's stopped working altogether. Not only a waste of almost a thousand dollars of work, but now the $1500 bike doesn't work AT ALL. Essentially they ruined my Macfox and are now refusing to even let me pay them to fix it. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Fixed or replaced the back light assembly, front light assembly, both hand brake grips, the left brake line, the left brake pull; tightened the brakes and adjusted the crooked handlebars all for such a reasonable amount. I recently bought an e-bike (Heybike Ranger S) online and it was delivered with a few issues. I found Deer Focus through the manufacturer website and took my bike there for troubleshooting. The owners were amazing. They went out of their way to find the problems and work with both me and the manufacturer to get the replacement parts shipped to their store and promptly had my bike repaired over the weekend when their store was officially closed. I could not believe the level of communication, updates, great customer service and timely repairs. I cannot recommend this company higher. Our case was a situation that required us to contact the manufacturer since it's a very old bike, and they don't have parts for our particular bike. Friendly! Very knowledgeable! Repairs ebikes too. I brought in my Juiced bike which nobody else wanted to work on, and she said she'd charge me a $45 diagnosis fee, then would let me know what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix. It turns out I had a bad connection in the controller, and she fixed it... and only charged me the $45! She also got it done the next day when she said it would be 2-3 days! I called her yesterday I wasn't interested in a bicycle listed at $2100 which is already cheaper than anybody else $300 difference. Unfortunately I got in an accident so I called her saying that I couldn't make it today. I will come back tomorrow, she didn't worry about the deal. Went there earlier, just some minutes ago. Parking is curbside. The location is nice. Between Eagles Nest motorcycle shop and the new Tesla lot. I mostly saw electric bicycles and moped(?). I don't know if those are mopeds since California's definition and classification is confusing. There are some tricycles. I was searching for those but I already purchased my bicycle before I found the local shop. Maybe next time. Should carry more locks from other brands like Kryptonite and Abus. Shop offers financing on bicycles. Accepted payment methods are cash, debit, and credit cards. I am tempted to buy one of those mopeds(?). Looks like a golf cart but with only for 1 person as rider/passenger. read more

If you needed to be at another time, she said she lives really close so she can be flexible. I went to get my bikes tires fixed. She also checked the brakes and gears for me. Having looked around at all available options with other big name stores like Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Costco and online with Amazon, we found the perfectly suited e-bike for our 16 year old at this small, but very credible, local retailer. We had researched battery type and size, mileage distance and look. We didn't want anything too big, as once the battery charge ran out, we didn't want have to paddle a really heavy bike around. What was immediately apparent about Deer Focus was that they had a super selection of e-bikes with many options and price ranges, they also had e-scooters. We settled on the perfect model, it was a store made model that came with all the same features as the name brands for a reasonable price. It had a similar profile to a classic ten speed using a hidden battery design, it has great range, backed by a comprehensive warranty. We brought it home, my son sticker bombed it and immediately went for a cruise. He has logged about 1000 hours on it so far. Overall we would totes recommend going to Deer Focus for you e-mobility needs. read more
