When I asked Antonio about air intake, he texted back that my soffits are vented. Well, yes, the vinyl has holes in them; however, they are not vented into the attic (which I confirmed after the fact). He never checked. In the process of investigating how to deal with my lack of air inflow, the next contractor who showed up astutely pointed out that I do not have a drip edge. I called Antonio to address this, and his response was something to the effect of it's not important. After meeting with several other roofers and doing an online Google search, it turns out a drip edge is code in NJ for new construction as well as re-roofs. I immediately texted Antonio requesting a partial refund to have this remedied (as best as possible, as it really can't be done correctly after the shingles are installed), and he responded saying his "foreman" could come on Saturday to install a drip edge. Reluctantly, I agreed. Fast forward to Friday, the day before the scheduled job. I texted Antonio to reconfirm, and he advised me to text the foreman. Um, OK. I did so, no reply. Texted Antonio in the afternoon advising him of the lack of reply and he said he would let me know when he made contact with said employee. Friday comes and goes, half of Saturday comes and goes, no reply. Texted Antonio Saturday afternoon, and he said he hadn't been able to reach his employee. (Would have been nice to have gotten an update by end of day Friday.) I again expressed my concern about the drip edge not being installed, as pointed out by other roofers. His reply was that "other roofers are going to talk sh*t." At this point, I screenshotted the code and explicitly stated that I am not concerned about other roofers talking whatever, but rather my concern was my roof not being up to code. Have not heard from him since. So, I will be hiring another roofer and will meet Antonio in a courtroom. If you want headaches, go for it.

We were over confident and didn't have our gate closed because since installing the technology our dog never attempted to venture down the driveway. Our garage is in the back of our home. So driving in and out requires a driveway to the back of the house. Our Bella went after a chipmunk. Her adrenaline almost immunized her from the 12 foot pinch zone and another single perimeter line meant to keep her safe. She ran into the road and not only was she hit by a car, but the device on her collar got caught on the car and was ripped off her neck, breaking her neck and killing her. No telling if she still would have died from the impact but a dog's tags and devices around their necks can get caught on things and cause harm. The car was not going fast. Actually the car was breaking because the driver saw Bella coming. I'm not knocking the technology BUT I want to warn others that the invincible fence is just that. Please don't rely on it to keep your loved pet safe. Had I thought of this before, or if I done enough research, or if someone would have mentioned this to me, I would have used a gate. Absolute blockage is the only way to keep pets safe from outside of the yard. I take full responsibility for not being thoughtful enough and was way too confident. Therefore I failed my family and want to warn others of my overconfidence and hope you don't make the same mistake

Took out 6 trees in a day. Their "landscaping" service was horrible. The cleaning was fine but the leveling and grading was so badly done that there are low spots all over the yard. They tried filling it with top soil which makes no sense. German promised that he will come back after a week to inspect and fill more if needed, which clearly, the yard needed. He never showed up, initially responded to texts and calls and then completely stopped responding. I was very happy to recommend them after the tree cutting job but they are extremely poor landscapers.

After meeting with 6 different contractors we landed on Scalora brothers and we're really pleased with their work. The pricing was fair, they got the job done quickly (without cutting corners), and they've been super responsive throughout the whole process. Just yesterday I reached out because one of the bushes was leaning (2 months after they were planted) and the Scalora truck was in our driveway within an hour to fix it and inspect the other bushes as well.
