Two hours later they called me with a quote of $480 to fix it. I rejected and to get the car had to pay $113 for "inspection". The plastic clip broke was even at the exactly same place that I saw inside the door before, they didn't touched the car... The so called "inspection" costed more than the whole window system (not just the clips). Unfortunately that's how those place make their money, but hopefully this information helps others to not be scammed!

When I went to pep boys, they charged me for evaluation, but came back and said it'll only be 300$ and will take a day to fix! I was thrilled. I got my car back and the issue was fixed! However, the second I tried to pull my key out of the switch, the key broke. I got back in, explained I gave them a perfectly working key, I'm incredibly happy with the work, but let's fix this key so we can all walk away feeling happy. The shop manager got crabby and suggested I'm trying to trick or cheat them (not true!) but agreed to pay me back after I fix my key, and so it was! I am writing this review to praise pep boys for fair prices, decent work, and keeping clients happy. It's important to give credit where it's due!
