I have been going here for two years, my daughter was on these trampolines almost as soon as she could walk, but I've decided this is going to be my last month paying for a membership here. In two years, every time we go, there's different rules. The only rules that don't change are the ones on the signs the staff read to you before you can enter the park, when the staff is actually there doing there jobs and not hanging out in the back corner by the slides and super tramps on their phones. And speaking of the super tramps. Every time I go there's different rules for those as well. Sometimes they don't care that three toddlers are on the big super tramp, and other times employees will turn and snap "no y'all gotta get out of here." The moment me and my daughter even walk toward them. There's signs posted that the attraction is for kids 7 and up, but that's not the rule for the other Defy locations I've been to, nor is it the rule at literally any other trampoline park in Greenville county. I can understand wanting to limit the amount of little ones on the super tramps during the evenings and weekends when there are more teens and adults who actually want to practice walk-climbing, but at 11am when me, my daughter, and one other parent and toddler are there, I can't understand the hostility I get at even THINKING of letting my four year old use the super tramps. Almost every "attraction" I guess?? Has a laundry list of rules that are ridiculous and enforced arbitrarily. Sometimes the staff doesn't even seem to know the rules. My child's father took her two days in a row and two days in a row was told completely conflicting things? Day one, he was told he wasn't allowed to do multiple backflips. The employee said "you can do as many front flips as you want, just not back flips." The very next day, he was doing multiple fronts and was told the exact opposite by a different employee, that he can do backflips to his heart's content but he can't chain multiple front flips. None of these rules seem to be posted anywhere, and if they were, how could anyone follow them anyways if they're this contradictory?? It's been like this for probably the past two-three months now, steadily getting worse, with all the newer employees being really aggressive and/or confusing as all the old friendly faces we've seen for years become less and less. I don't know what happened, but it really is disheartening. After two years, we're just going to have to pay a little more to go to a trampoline park where the rules are clear and also less ridiculous? I signed a waiver, I'm an adult, I know my skill levels, I have spacial awareness, I don't understand why this place seems to want to take every single drop of extreme out of a TRAMPOLINE PARK. It's supposed to be fun, a place to test your limits, try new tricks and moves, practice and cultivate skills. Instead it's a place where 30 year old adults are told by teenagers that they don't have the skills or ability to safely do a few tricks on a trampoline, especially when said adult pays hundreds of dollars a year and has been coming to said trampoline park for years. My child's father WORKED there. I used to recommend this place to everyone, now I wouldn't recommend that anyone of any skill level go there. The memberships are difficult to cancel. They kept charging me and I kept attempting to cancel online(since that is the only way they allow you to). Finally, 3 months later I got in touch with an actual person who then canceled my membership but refused to refund the months they failed to cancel my membership. Also, the place was rather dirty. The actual layout was decent, however I would not recommend this place. The staff was very unwelcoming and was barking orders like they were training for the police academy at my one year old whom I was standing right next to! You could not walk two feet without hearing someone being yelled at or whistled at. I have been to many trampoline parks and not once felt so uncomfortable.They are also sock police and force you to buy Gravitopia socks despite having your own grip socks.(/ The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because the actual layout is okay. read more

This is a good place if you are looking to a park/house alternative for a birthday party. You pay for an hour in the park for your guests and then pizza, two two-liter drinks and cups/plates in the party room. You can bring your own cake, snacks, ice, etc. The kids always have a blast on the trampolines and the one hour forty-five minute timing means the parents get out with some of their sanity left in-tact. A great deal of the experience depends on which of the staff is assisting you with the event, some are definitely better than others. Gravatopia is a great place to take the kiddos, especially on a rainy day. Now, they do need to be careful though. Several kids have gone to the hospital with busted lips, sprained knees and the like. They also accidentally bump into each other frequently. This is an indoor trampoline place for kids. It's $12 per hour. A liability waiver is required before kids can jump. So basically if your kid hurts himself, you can't sue the place. There is a loft that a lot of people don't know about. It's an area for the parents to sit and watch. There's also free wifi here for the adults to surf. The loud music can sometimes have mature content for even the adults. I've complained to them before about this but they are not really concerned. They say they are just catering to a mixture of listeners. Yeah.....right. There's a couple of rooms to hold Birthday parties. I strongly recommend booking your jump time online in advance. They fill up quick on the weekend. No coupons work on the weekend. Flips into the foam pit and having all four kids run wild and free were among the highlights for me. We're already planning our next trip. Make your reservation ahead of time. We paid just $12/pp for an hour which was plenty as we're talking wide-open, pure cardio the entire time. Loved it. Improvements: Bathroom needs to be tended to. Overall, this place is pretty fun and will wear you out! It has its downside though. Compared to similar places, the variety of trampolines is lacking. Nearly all of them are the long, ramp style ones. Also, the employees give conflicting information. Some say wear socks, some say don't. I think it's gross to have all of those bare feet on the trampolines! Socks should be mandatory, whether you purchase theirs or bring your own. With a child's admission, te parent jumps free. However, I didn't have any jumping clothes, and I left my athleticism in my 20's. I may give it a shot on my next visit, but I have some things coming up where I need to remain injury free ;) All kinds of stunts and obstacles. An "American Ninja Warrior" type climbing wall and obstacle area, two basketball hoops to give your best Air Jordan impression, dodgeball to take out your aggressions in hapless youths, trapeze style swing, and foam landing areas everywhere. What is not to like about this place? The price! $13 per child for one hour is a tough pill to swallow, but the kids really enjoy it. read more

My kids absolutely loved coming to Gravitopia unfortunately it will probably be the last time. There was a problem with customers jumping the line and even though the manager was there to observe the whole thing did nothing to intervene and calm the situation when I confronted the customer who jumped the line. But once we did get to the window to pay and talked to him about the situation we were told that there was nothing he could do to control the situation. When asked why he didn't tell the customer to go back in line be told us we brought it on ourselves for escalating the situation. That being said I'll take into consideration that he was a young Manger and really probably did not know how to handle the situation however telling your customer they are at fault for standing up for themselves was not the right answer. read more

This was the perfect spot for an adult birthday party. A group of 6 of us went for a 30th birthday. Some members of the group had some impressive acrobatic skills, others such as myself just enjoyed jumping around and trying out some of the jungle gym-like activities. I Signed the waver like everyone is supposed to do before they jump. walked up to the front to pay. I was told it would be cheaper to pay a certain price for the DAY. The young lady behind the counter never mentioned she would be signing me up for a membership. She never mentioned anything about a membership. I'm sure she avoided the word membership strictly based on the sole purpose that each Employee receives commission off of each membership they sell. The following month Defy took additional money out of my bank account. Now it saying a can't cancel until my first 3 months are over. I never signed a contract or anything of that matter. Not sure how if this is actually legal and will be checking into this more. I went back up there to discuss the issue and the young lady I spoke with said this is not the first time this has happened by the same employee. I've also sent a email and I've yet to hear back. The experience at the park was fine. I purchased an hour and a half at the park, and my grandson had a good time. Then, two days later I got an email that my credit card would be charged $33.58 for 2 elite memberships every month. I never purchased a membership. There was never any discussion about a membership. When I called to straighten this out there are only two options; none to talk to someone who could help correct this error. The person I talked to made it clear they could not help me, and said they would have the manager call me. Some hours later the manager did call and verified there was a membership purchased. There was no explanation as to how this happened, nor was there an apology. I was told the membership could only be canceled by me online, and they could not do it for me in the office. I went though the procedure, and I have no confidence that I will not have to call my credit card company to stop charges. This place is Awesome! If you're looking for something new to do with the kids, (and to tire them out so they go to bed early!) this is the spot. The upstairs has a lounge for parents to hang out and relax all with a view of the trampolines. Or you can jump yourself. It's a load of fun. I recommend buying tickets online before hand especially on busy nights, because only a certain amount of people can be jumping at once. Staff is friendly and it's good for all ages. I just go jump and entertain myself trying to grab their punching bags hanging from the ceiling, play dodgeball with friends, and attempt some easier tricks into the foam pits. The flight crew were not doing anything about kids cutting in line and jumping on trampolines past their flight times. I was the one to tell some kids to move to the back of the line at the dodge ball court. The employee wasn't saying anything to them. A lot of the employees were on their phones out chatting to each other. There wasn't much supervision. This place is also crowded on the weekends. This place has really gone down hill. When you schedule a party it is outsourced now to India. The lady that answers the phone is incredibly rude and condescending. When we got there the room was not set up, my husband and I had to take down chairs and put things together for our party. Kids loved jumping of course, it is always a good time. Our pizza came 30 minutes late and the kids had to have cake first. It was very chaotic and disorganized. The manager didn't even have the decency to come speak to us just gave us five passes to come back and jump. The kids love it, but there is no designated smoking area so smokers gather right outside the door and all their nasty smoke is sucked inside as people go in and out. The whole front lobby and entrance is saturated with toxic cigarette smoke from inconsiderate smokers. I received a legitimate coupon from Gravitopia that in bold letters says FREE 1-HR FLIGHT TIME WITH THE PURCHASE OF A 1-HR FLIGHT TIME. It sounded like a great opportunity to take my 6 year old out and have fun. The coupon should have said, BUY A 2-HR FLIGHT TIME FOR THE PRICE OF A 1-HR FLIGHT TIME. This is the only way the cashier would accept it. I was not interested in a 2hr jump so I couldn't use my coupon and save money and have fun. The place itself was great. My teens had a blast. I love the fact that after 9 pm its 15+ so I don't have to worry about them accidentally trampling small ones. The reason it has 2 stars is it did not seem there was anyone over 24 working there, the front counter was unorganized and understocked so we had to wait even longer to get checked in. We arrived at 8:45 but did not get the bands until 9:10. There was a short line, but because of the chaos, it took forever. Normally wouldn't be a problem except the call time to stop was 10 minutes before 10pm. So they got 40 minutes of jump time when I paid for 60 minutes. Not only that but I called several times earlier that days with questions and sent 2 requests for answers from the website. Not only did I NOT receive a call back, but the email I got from Jordan, the general manager, was after 9pm. I replied, explaining my grievances, and still have yet to hear back. It's been a week. This is the only reason I have given 2 stars. I am not sure we will go back. Even though the kids had a lot of fun, it was disappointing that I, as a customer, was not taken seriously. read more

This is an awesome place to take your kids! They have TONS of square and rectangle trampolines to jump on, an enclosure to play dodgeball, several trampolines that you can jump into foam pits, my kids call this one spot an "American ninja warrior course," they have a trapeze to swing on, they have this wall jump, and I'm sure that's not all they have. There is just tons! And on top of that, they have an awesome staff! This pat time, it was time for my baby's nap and he decided to lay down and cry and someone on staff immediately ran up to make sure he was ok and that we didn't need anything! I also met one of the managers named Will, (who was extremely patient with the load of kids I brought in) and was super excited that I had filled out a survey about this place and expressed his gratitude that I took 3 minutes to fill it out. I mean, I got $3 off for doing it..I don't understand why more people don't do it! This place is worth the money and you AND your kids will have a blast. My 1 year old to 13 year old all have a blast here! Definitely worth the visit! read more
