I made a mistake 2 years ago and let the towing company take me to Knights Collision because the accident happened near their facility...big mistake...it took Fazio to "re-fix" my car and i swore that i would never use anyone else. Maybe this is why all the major insurance companies have them listed as a preauthorized business so you do no have to worry. oh and if you drive a luxury car (like i do) they are experts...its really like having a brother in the business...seriously they rock!!!!

Which needs proper torquing and proper placement for filter and oil ring to avoid oil leaks compared to the plastic cap and covers that tend to break and leak when not fitted properly. Instead of trying to sell us over-priced parts, the dude told us exactly what parts to get, and we went to get them at wholesale prices around the corner. Super cheap. Then we came back with the parts, and the guy at R&R car shop installed them for $60! He had us wait around while he worked on it, and we were on our way within the hour. Other auto body shops easily would have first told us the part we needed was going to be 5 times as much as it actually costs, and then they could have told us to come back the next day, saying it took 5 hours of labor and charging us hundreds of dollars. These guys are super trustworthy if you ask me. Plus, then I noticed the next day that the brakes still sounded a little off, so I went back. The dude readjusted whatever he had done before, FREE of charge, and sent me on my way with a smile. The car and the brakes have been smooth ever since!

This is a review of 3 places so crossposting it for Island Toyota dealership, Island Toyota Service…read moreCenter, and a body shop in Brooklyn Auto Dent. This must be the worst dealership there is. I went to their repair service on quintard to get my wheel alignment checked after a parking lot collision where a person backed her car into mine. The insurance adjuster was supposed to go there to write up an estimate. When they got there the next day, my car wasn't even there anymore. Without my consent, they sent it out to Brooklyn to some body shop called Auto Dent. The insurance had to schedule another adjuster to go take a look at my car now in Brooklyn. To make a long story short, the body shop kept my car for 3 weeks, returned it unfixed. Nothing was done. In addition, when they towed my car from Toyota Service Center to Brooklyn, they used my plates for the toll which I got billed for. Island Toyota dealership cashed the Geico insurance check for $5,600+ and returned my car not repaired. They won't refund the money. They asked to bring the car back so they can fix it - thus admitting they didn't fix it in the first place. The guy from Auto Dent couldn't get his story straight either. He was very rude over the phone, first claiming he fixed the car, then saying he fixed some things, then said he can fix it if we bring it back. How could I send my car back to them? I went to another reliable body shop to get a statement that car wasn't fixed and payed for it out of my own pocket. Filed a DMV report against the body shop already. Auto Dent, Island Toyota, Toyota Service the worst customer service, and repair service there is. I assume, they went for the insurance fraud because my car wasn't badly damaged and if the owner didn't know much about cars, they would've never noticed that the car isn't fixed. Luckily, my husband knows a thing or two and after he brought the car home and started checking, he saw that nothing was done as per the estimate. It's hard to see at pick up as they give you "the complementary wash" so the car is wet and you can't see anything. We called the insurance back, they sent the local adjuster who came by and confirmed the job was not done. They were supposed to replace a headlight as per the insurance adjuster's estimate but they glued the one that was originally on the car. When confronted, they argued that they replaced it until they finally said that they glued it. Along with the repair receipt, they attached a list of parts they were going to use for my car with addresses where they supposedly got them from. They didn't use any. The other body shop confirmed that the bumper on my car is still the same bumper that was on the car and not a new one. They actually didn't even put back all the clips. There are parts numbers on parts...obviously.

Last night, she called me frustrated and overwhelmed because three separate mechanics gave her 3 different diagnoses that ultimately caused her to fail inspection and require major work. Clearly those other mechanics were just trying to take advantage of a Senior Citizen. Not cool! Anyway, we brought the car and were seen very quickly. The "fixes" were light and ultimately my aunt paid $200 less than the other mechanics were trying to charge. My aunt plans to make this her auto repair home. Hopefully she won't need the services besides inspection but you never know - her car is getting old. Lol I never felt taken advantage of because I was a single female. They've always been fair (I've gotten quotes from others to compare and spoken to male friends and relatives) and I appreciate that. Life is busy enough - I don't have the time, desire or mental capacity to worry about being taken advantage of and finding an alternate solution. Anyway, definitely check this place out! The vibe is chill, and the staff is very cool and jovial, especially the owner - Bear.
