Thank goodness for witnesses. I called the cops and they had contacted Response Towing Service/Champion Collision. Pat, the tow truck driver, has a calming disposition about him....which was needed for this tense situation. I told Pat about another body shop (which was closed at the time) near my job. Instead of leaving my jeep there in the street...Pat took it upon himself to tow my jeep to his shop for the night (one of my windows was busted due to the accident), didn't charge me for towing and took my jeep to the body shop near my job. Pat even talked about his family which did help me through the shock that I was still dealing with. He also kept telling me that things could have been a lot worse. He was right.
