Told me to come back and they'd finish up. Said something about needing to work on a race car. I brought the car back, but they then decided they couldn't help me without an astronomical (more than $500) additional bill. They were going to weld something, but then decided they couldn't. I never would have had them do the work they did if I'd realized that their estimate was so far off. I OK'd the estimate to begin with assuming that the problem would be fixed. I eventually went elsewhere to get the problem solved at a more reasonable cost. Also, I had them do an oil change and they put the wrong weight oil in my car. I just can't recommend this place. Maybe I hit them on an off day or something, as I went here on recommendation of a co-worker, but meh...

So my gf called this place and they told her I could come in and get it done right away. Bet, you don't have to tell me twice. So i got my car in and I don't remember the guys name but he was mad cool and chill. He didn't give off that mechanic A**hole vibes, like he was that cool friend we all need in our lives to just shoot the s**t with. I think a lot of businesses are missing that type of interaction with customers; get back to the basic of plain customer service. This place was good about their service. So they got my car in, even though they had other vehicles they were working on. We talked about how the dealership was trying to get like $500 in an oil gasket. So he looked up his price for me and reasonable. Then later on, he showed me what was really going on with that pan and he said I would not even mess with that pan but you should definitely get a new tire. He showed me and explained to me what was wrong with it. I love that about mechanics bc some mechanics will not do that at all and their definition of things will be so complex. They won't try to oversell you on anything, and make sure to only tell you the fixes that are necessary. They charged me HUNDREDS under what I was quoted elsewhere, and were able to get the job done in a few hours. I have brought by car back to them for every fix up since.

The area is tiny and they have one singular chair to sit in while you wait. Multiple customers to the gas station came in to get food/drinks and I had to awkwardly get out of their way while I waited. They were also running behind so they couldn't get to my car for at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. They did a good job on the car and had a detailed report plus the oil change for a very fair price but honestly I'll probably go somewhere else next time cause its just less convenient when they don't have an adequate waiting room for people getting something quick done.
