excellent lattes, giant space and damn near empty on a friday morning. I wasn't expecting to walk into this huge space the one time i didn't come to sit a while and work! I will definitely be back here because I thoroughly enjoyed my drink and they have late night hours! love it!

    Love the decor!

What a lovely space! I was so excited to finally try after seeing this talked about so much. Upon walking in, you see the ordering counter to your right. There are specials on a board, and you can also scan the QR code to get the full menu. We asked for recommendations. I ended up getting an iced pistachio matcha latte and Dubai chocolate croissant. It took awhile to get our food/drink so if you're in a hurry, this place might not be the best option, but if you have time, highly recommend! There are some cute backdrops for photos and the food and drink is delicious. Loved my drink. The croissant was okay. Support small, immigrant owned business!

This is a lovely little cafe just outside of Nashville. The staff were super nice, gave us great recommendations, and took the time to answer all our questions. The lattes were delicious, and the croissants were buttery flakey wonderful. The room was very spacious for a café and a great place to chill out at with friends. I'll definitely be frequenting this place.

I love Deir in Wedgewood-Houston, so I had to check out their new location in Antioch! The space is huge, with plenty of room and lots of seating options. There's a cozy corner with comfy chairs and warm lighting that gives it a great ambience. They even have board games, which makes it a great place to hang out. It's the perfect spot to co-work as well. My #1 drink is the Golden Lotus (the Biscoff cookie crumbles are to die for!) My friend tried the Deir Chai and loved it just as much. The staff is incredibly friendly, the service is quick, and they even have a parking lot, which is always a plus!

Deir Cafe 2 is the largest cafe in Nashville! Located on Haywood Lane across from the Walgreens, they are usually open 8AM-8PM. Because of Ramadan, they are open late from 12 PM-3 AM! I decided to take some work and check it out. They have a parking lot and then street parking next to the building. When you walk in, there was lots of buzz with largely groups of friends gathered playing cards, talking, or doing homework or work. You place your order to the right when you walk in. I think that should be clearer or a Order Here sign because when you walk in, you see the huge open kitchen where everyone is preparing food and drinks. I asked the two people behind the counter to the right and they let me know that you order first and then they will call your name. There is a QR code where you can pull up the drink and food menu. The menu starts with drinks and they have so many to offer that you have to keep scrolling for awhile before getting to the food menu. It would be helpful if they had a drink tab and food tab. It would be more user friendly and help people see offerings quicker where they could order faster. I ordered the chicken shawarma meal. It's is grilled Arabic chicken served with crispy fries, creamy garlic sauce and tabbouleh. I was a bit disappointed in the chicken shawarma. The chicken was dry and I tried adding the creamy garlic sauce and tabbouleh but it only helped a bit. I am going to say that the chicken might be dry because it's the end of the night? I was bummed because I was craving shawarma and it did not hit the spot. The fries though.... that saved this meal. The fries were fried to perfection. They were crispy and not greasy. I really loved the fries! They give you a little container of ketchup. I could have used just a little bit more. I am thinking that they just opened and I will give the shawarma another try. Since I ordered the meal, it came with a drink. They offered bottled water, coke, sprite, diet coke, or a yogurt drink. They have a shawarma iftar plate that has lentil soup, tender, slow-marinated shawarma over rice with fresh tabbouleh, paired with famous toumia or tahini and a yogurt drink. Savory wise, I'm curious about that as well as the zaatar lahneh croissant. On the sweet side, I want to try the pistachio croissant and coconut cake. The space is really great and they have all types of seating which I loved. There is a giant table where multiple groups can sit. They have seats facing the outside if you need to work and stay focused. Groups were gathered around the round tables playing cards. The atmosphere is great and I look forward to coming back and trying other items! So many drinks were being made and I look forward to trying a tropical habibi boost next time!

I am flabbergasted! I've never seen a coffee shop that is so massive that has ample seating, nooks for privacy, long hours, good coffee and amazing food. I will be coming back because I can have my coffee dates here and I can do business meetings here. The food was so flavorful.

From start to finish everything was great. We were seated at our quoted time. Drinks and food delivered quickly. Our server made sure we had everything we needed. Food was cooked to our requests and tasted delicious. The kids LOVED it! And our kids are picky, unfortunately. The pancakes as big as their head were a big hit! It is a tad bit loud in the restaurant, that is the only negative. Parking - free! Can get kind of hectic if you go on a weekend morning.

It wasn't until I got back to my apartments that I realized they had left out his chicken sausage, and the fruit cup wasn't secured properly so his waffle was soggy . I called back spoke the manager Megan, explain my order is missing items and in a rush the packed the order carelessly. Megan then proceeds to tell me she can't refund the whole order, I say fair enough but I'm only paying for the apple juice. Megan then tells me to hold on. An employee ask her a question Megan then proceeds tell the employee she can't deal with this "fucking shit" ! Hangs up the phone and switches the lines to after hours. Never called back. They have a lot of issues customers routinely having quality issues. I figured a refund is easier for everybody involved since they're closed but instead I got a "fuck you"! It's an absolute show expect to wait forever and for the food to not live up to the price in terms of quality. I hate giving bad reviews but this one was well earned. I would suggest Red Bicycle cafe. It's owned by a charming couple who are just amazing people. Very warm and inviting everything is always on point they serve hot food, a bit pricey but well worth it. Go for the food stay for the vibes.

I do think the food is better than that of most coffee shops, but I don't actually eat the food often. I've found the service to be good and for the staff to be friendly, but they only have one register, so the line may be a bit long if they are busy. It can be a bit loud, it it's a pleasant place to sit and drink coffee. The Well will normally have three pour over choices that are from their limited time offered beans. They see very fruity and flavorful, and I really enjoy that kind of coffee. They make them right where you can see them do it, and It's fun to watch the process. I've often come to try the pour over only to later buy a bag of beans for home. When you do, you get a free 12 ounce drip coffee. However, to be honest, the drip offerings seem rather mediocre to me. I would not go there to buy the batch drip coffee. I do know they have a good cappuccino, though. I debated lowering the rating when I thought about their main medium roast blend on drip - Confluence. They had a blend of Ethiopian and Kenyan beans, and it was some of the best coffee I ever had. Now, they've rotated to a blend of beans from Ethiopia and New Guinea. I bought a bag thinking it would be similar to what I had before, but it just wasn't anywhere near as good, unless you brew it as espresso. However, it's really the pour over that I drink here, so I'm keeping the eating at five stars.

The most unique seasonal coffee menu item is the fygge newton - I order mine with almond milk which is perfectly sweet and nutty.

It's in a small shopping center at the north limits of the Crieve Hall neighborhood. You can normally find a parking spot in the lot or if you know someone in the neighborhood, walking is an option too. Walk in and order at the counter. Be sure to check the available bagels that day AND any specials, especially the cinnamon bun special. Every time I have been, the staff has been extremely helpful as you navigate the choices. (note - there is a separate window outside to pickup online orders, delivery orders etc. so that helps with inside congestion). There is almost always a line but it moves quickly. On my last visit, they had just completed the March Madness bracket and were featuring the Cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese- $1. As I said, always check the special! They will feature some interesting coffees, bagels varieties and let's talk about the Cinnamon Roll. The first time I sampled the Cinnamon Roll special it was a blueberry pancake version, imagine an amazing cinnamon roll(yes, it's sweet but not overly and has great flavor), with blueberries and cream on top! The only downside is they are very large, but that means you get one to share with your people. Their bagels are really good! You can eat them plain or get some spread for them. (note that bulk bagel orders are not sliced). They also have breakfast sandwiches. To top it off, this has the feel of a real neighborhood spot. Plenty of folks greeting each other, friends connecting, families gathering. Indoor seating with books for the wee folks and some outdoor tables too. I understand they have another location but this is original CHBCO. Definitely worth checking it out!
