This place is vibey and a good time lots of places to get work done and ample selection of coffee and tea here for all. Everyone was super nice and willing to answer any questions. They take their time and pay attention to any requests and can tell really care about making your drinks. Their marketing team is great and their cups are cute but not too showy. My only qualms were that it's only open 7-3 and these are the hours I work. So on my days off I make sure to swing by. The parking here also is no bueno. Blonde barista girl was FULL of attitude. Smirked and laughed a bit when I asked a normal question about what syrups they have and did a little eye roll thing lol I was shocked. Then she kept the weird smirk on her face the entire time she was interacting with me. They charge extra if you don't want ice in your drink on top of an already expensive $7 latte.. it would have been $8 and then they ask for tip on top. Finally, reading the previous comments and it sounds like this place frequently smells like sewage but when I went, I guess they tried to mask the scent with copious amounts air freshener because holy shit.. I'm just glad I hadn't planned on sitting inside. Coffee wasn't even good.. not bad, but def not good. read more

This coffee shop needs a little more love. Hidden in the apartment complex but they make really good coffee and coffee drinks. They also make their own chocolate and you can tell in the flavors when ordering a mocha also. There's ample seating and also shares area with a co-working space that has rooms available to use. I still don't like fact that having a cup of coffee has gotten so expensive but it's been a while since I was able to find an espresso pull that made me pleased leaving the cafe. Yay! Cheers for a new coffee spot tucked inside the Broadstone Apartments in Berry Hill! The free garage parking is a huge plus, making it super convenient. I had the pleasure of meeting John Reuben, who guided me to an outstanding pour-over featuring Ethiopian beans from Sump Coffee (Bensa Segera). It was so smooth and flavorful that it didn't need a drop of cream or sugar. It's a great spot for working or a meet up with a colleague. There are some shared office spaces - therapy and wellness related. Already looking forward to my next visit!!! read more

It smelled like sewage both times I've been here. Like really bad. I could taste it when I was trying to breathe through my mouth to not smell it. Another reason I won't be coming back is the cost of a 4oz latte. $8? Seriously? I don't mind spending $8 for a latte at all but that's so small. I finished it before I left the parking lot. As Sump South, Petrichor is a fantastic place to pick up coffee! They have a small offering of pastries, but the focus is coffee. They have three smallish tables so this isn't the place to work remote, but it is a great place to grab a coffee and hang for a bit. When the weather is nice, they also have outdoor seating. There is free parking in the garage as well. It's a super simple in and out. The barista was friendly and kind. All around, I highly recommend a stop if you're in the area and need a coffee. read more

I gave three stars on atmosphere only. I can't speak about the coffee, just the atmosphere. I won't say this place is good or bad, just not what I was looking for at the time. Unfortunately there is no option to not include a star rating - hence the middle I was looking for a place to get some work done and enjoy some coffee and snacks. Drove by one night and begged my boyfriend to take me, so he did. It's hidden but definitely a gem. I love going to Sump so I knew I needed to check this place out. We went on a Sunday morning and only one barista working but he was so kind & made our coffees quick. There's seating inside but on a nice day, you can't enjoy the day outside on their patio. This is a great spot! There's lots of natural light and I love the decor. The drip coffee was tasty and I found the Cai Cha hot green tea to be a lovely drinking experience. I asked for cinnamon on my coffee after I took a few sips of it & the barista said "we don't have cinnamon" and I wasn't allowed to change the drink & that it would cost more... Brand new place, it's smaller and there's somewhat limited indoor and outdoor seating. But they had water that you could grab and bathrooms which is always a plus. Seems to be located inside of an apartment building so we just parked inside the parking garage which appeared to be free. The specialty drinks were a little pricy but I just got an iced vanilla latte which was a little bitter so I might not get that again. read more
