I was coming to this location for several years now because of the location and easy parking... and I have had great lash artists however I have noticed over the years the good last artists leave!!! (Hmmm why?)... still kept going because of location Recently tho I was scheduled for a weekend appointment and my lash artist relocated.. and instead of honoring my weekend appointment or helping to reschedule for a weekend "they" (because this was a conversation done all through text with me not able to call and talk to a person) kept trying to reschedule me for a week day. I had mine done on Friday 19th and within 4 days the right eyes started coming off and within a week a lot of the lashes where already off - I emailed 2 times didn't get any respond and 10 days all my lashes were off - I finally called and they told me they can do another appointment for me and have more experienced lash tech but I have to pay $190 ‍ I paid $180 first time and she basically said ok well sorry you had that experience I can book another one for you for this price - No thank you why would I come back to you ?? I've been to this location before and had a pretty good experience. The lashes looked great and I had a good amount left at the refill. I just recently visited to get the TrueXpress lashes, I followed the after care instructions (48 hours for shower, cleaning lashes, etc), and still my left eye has literally two clusters left and it's been less than a week. It's very disappointing for the cost since it didn't last long at all. Now I look crazy because one eye has a good amount of lashes left and the other is essential bare. I'm just going to have get the remaining lashes removed. I was considering getting a membership before but it's definitely not worth it. read more

Excellent customer service, clean, and reasonable prices. I got the true express with a groupon and Im happy with them. There's not a description on the website, but FYI they're fans of 3-6. They still come out looking relatively natural. Mine came out longer and more curled than what I wanted, but they still look great! I'm happy with the results. Whole process was about an hour and a half. Autumn was polite and helpful, and very gentle. I think the owner, Karen, came over to check on her work halfway through and after they were done. She also answered all my questions and helped us finish the transaction. I also really liked their iPad checkout and service system. It's a small thing but made things so much more efficient. I don't agree with what another user said about upselling. I didn't feel pressured or upsold, but I did end up using my Groupon to sign up for a membership because it was cheaper than a fill. The lashes began to fall out almost immediately. Today, the third day I have gaps where the lashes have fallen out on my right eye. The same thing happened to my daughter. Her lashes fell out so bad she had to remove the ones she could without doing damage to her own lashes. When she called customer service she was told she could come back in but they were unsure if she would be charged. She also had to insist on a different stylist! Definitely would not recommend this company. Thank goodness I had my lashes done during their Veteran's Day 50% off special! Kinda ironic! Seems like only 50% of my lashes are still hanging on! LOL! I will say my stylist was very friendly. UPDATE! My daughter & I lashes were redone Thursday, 11/14/19, by Porsha! She did a great! We were not charged. This was a terrible experience. This was my first time getting eyelashes done. I thought I would try Deka Lash as they are a well-known company. I got my lashes done on a Tuesday it took two hours. That same day I came home and the lashes were falling out two or three at a time!! On the same day! I texted the company and told them that this was happening and they told me the soonest they can get me in to fix was a Thursday which I could not do. My issue was that it did not need to be fixed, they needed to be redone. They said they would fix the missing eyelashes or remove them. At a cost to remove them. The next day -Wednesday... I got a lash lift by Zee, which was a waste of time and money. Long story short, my lashes looked a mess after she was done. There was a slight lift, but my lashes had indentions (instead of a curl) and were going in all different directions. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the service, Zee made excuses about the company not having the right size rods for my lashes. I questioned why she would perform the service if she could see beforehand that the rods were too big. She gave many other excuses when I showed her photos of my lashes previously lifted and came out better with the proper rod size. Basically, all her excuses were targeted towards me not having the "right" type of lashes, as opposed to her poor service and inadequate materials. read more

Shuggi is my lash artist. I have been coming for several months as my eyelashes grow back in. I lost them in chemo. when I first came Shuggi patiently worked with the tiny bit of lashes I did have. It took almost twice as long to complete but she was determined I was leaving with lashes. She is so gentle I usually nod off during my fills. I would recommend the hilltop location. All I have to say is I am not big on giving reviews but I am super unsatisfied with Deka lashes. This is my second time and I thought the second time would be better but it was not. First of all, my lash tech started 15 minutes late she was not prepared and my appointment time ran over by 20 minutes which made me late to my brunch reservation. What I am mostly upset about is, it is not been a full two weeks since I have had my lashes done and I can count that I have 12 lashes on my eyes with even getting the hybrid set. I have been getting my lashes done by Crystal for just about 3 months and I am VERY happy with them. I have never had lashes done before, so this was a new experience. Your first appt. can take at least 2 hours for a FULL (non Express) set. **Listen to your tech, **follow their directions and your lashes will stay on longer. You wouldn't get a blowout and then jump in the pool 2 hours later and wonder why your hair is wet?! Same for lashes. Depending on your care of them and your style choice will determine how low they stay. I have a membership and go every two weeks and by the time my appt comes around I have about 30-40% retention, normal. Ask for Crystal, she's an Elite Tech and also the manager. Hope this helps! I have been going to this location of Deka Lash since the first week it was open and have been nothing but impressed! This was my first time getting extensions so of course I was extremely nervous. When I walked in to make my initial appointment I met Karen, the owner. Not only is she hands on in her business but she took the time to explain to me how lash extensions work and what my different options were. Then I scheduled my first appointment with Porsha (who I have seen every time since). During my first appointment, Porsha took the time to again go over all my options with me and explain the whole process as she was doing it, which I was really thankful for. My lashes have come out looking amazing every time! I decided to get a membership because the pricing is very reasonable considering the work that they do (and compared to other lash salons). Not only do they provide such an amazing service, but the lash tech's genuinely care about their clients which is hard to find now a days. I'm very happy with my lashes and extremely happy with this location and the women who work there! (Not to mention that the decor is beautiful and the salon is kept spotless!!)
