Amazing!!! Great service, and easy to get to. I got the brow shape and henna, and eyelash lift and…read moretint. Pictures show before, after, and 3 days later. The lash lift is a game changer!!! I will 100% be doing this regularly. The henna was a good trial run to see if I wanted to do microblading. A little dark the first day, but evens out nicely. I've been getting tons of compliments.

Despite that, there was no discussion about whether the henna formula had changed since my previous visits, no explanation that the product contained PPD (a common allergen), and no offer to perform a patch test before applying the tint. Within hours of leaving the salon, my eyebrows became swollen, red, and intensely itchy. By the following day, I had developed clusters of blisters where the tint had been applied, and my skin was clearly having an allergic reaction. I spent Sunday treating the symptoms with Benadryl and Cortizone-10, and by Monday I had to seek care at urgent care, where I was diagnosed with allergic contact dermatitis and prescribed a stronger steroid cream. On Tuesday morning, I wrote an email requesting a refund and attaching a photo to which I have received no acknowledgment or reply. Unfortunately, the experience didn't end there. On Tuesday morning, I experienced an anxiety attack because of how severe the reaction had become. Later that afternoon, I developed a severe migraine, and over the following days I noticed eyebrow hairs beginning to fall out in the affected areas. The urgent care provider explained that my reaction was consistent with an allergy to PPD, a chemical commonly added to henna dyes to create a darker, longer-lasting color. While I understand that allergic reactions can happen and that salons are not medical professionals, PPD allergies are well documented. Given that I specifically mentioned having sensitive skin, I believe the salon should have informed me that the product contained PPD, discussed the risk of allergic reactions, asked about prior sensitivities, or at minimum offered a patch test before proceeding. I've had this same service at this salon in the past without incident, which makes the lack of any conversation about the product or potential risks even more disappointing. What should have been a routine cosmetic service resulted in weeks of pain, medication, medical treatment, significant stress, and temporary hair loss. I cannot recommend this service or salon based on my experience and the fact that I've received no reply to my email. Note that I am too upset over the event to call the salon again. I hope the salon takes additional precautions to better inform clients and help prevent someone else from going through what I did. While I previously supported this small business, I will never return.

All I can say is WOW! Its hard to imagine my life without these lash extensions now. My first visit…read morewas with Emmy. She did a very good job of making sure she showed me pictures and understood what I wanted. The full set takes about 2 hours. The owner MiMi, contacted me via text about 2 weeks later to see if I was ready for a fill. There was some back and forth about the date and time and in the end I just kind of, popped up at the shop. Mimi had someone come in to assist me. I wasn't 100 percent pleased with my fill (the technician did what I requested but I wasn't prepared for the dramatic change and panicked!) I communicated that I wasn't sure I liked this particular look to MiMi later on that night. She contacted me the next morning to schedule me to come back in so that she could revise my lashes. I actually ended up seeing Emmy (Mimi herself wanted to assist me but due to a scheduling conflict, I requested and earlier appt and Emmy was available)... she was awesome(again!). The lashes have amazing staying power. You could probably go 3 to 4 weeks before you NEED a fill in, albeit with a few lashes gone. Emmy is now the only technician I will book. She is super sweet and will make sure you are happy! Emmy and Mimi, your customer service is A++++! Pro-tips - bring a sweater or wear long sleeves..the room gets very cool. - bring an ipod/phone with earbuds. I listen to a comedy station but next time I may try white noise to catch a few zzz's. -bring particularl looks in and communicate EXACTLY what you want. - purchase the cleanser they sell for the lash extensions

I had to go to doctors for treatment and removal and could not see or work for a week. It was the worst experience! There was no offer of refund (partial or full). She did not even respond to anything for days. Absolutely AWFUL!

I came to Annie Salon & Day Spa on 5/20/26 after being recommended by my sister, who had wonderful…read morethings to say about their pedicures after I moved from California. To be fair, the gel pedicure absolutely met expectations. Andy did an amazing job with my pedicure -- he took care of my ingrown nails, the French tip line work was sharp and clean, and overall I felt he deserved the tip I left him because I truly needed that level of care and attention. Unfortunately, my Gel-X full set was a completely different experience. I originally requested almond French tips. Andy then suggested with my nail bed stiletto would be best. Andy did beautiful line work on 7 out of the 10 nails, but halfway through the service he ran out of the stiletto tips and used coffin tips for the remaining 3 nails, saying he would shape them to match the others. I brought up my concerns multiple times throughout the appointment because the process already seemed off to me, but he continued reassuring me that everything would look the same in the end. The problem is -- they didn't. Those 3 nails ended up bulky, wide, and visibly different from the others. I also found it odd that my nails and cuticles were not properly prepped beforehand, and the replacement tips were glued further up the nail bed instead of properly seated at the base like traditional Gel-X application. By the end of the appointment, I still voiced concern about how bulky the nails looked, but unfortunately I was actively working remotely and had urgent matters to return to, so I paid the $153 total $80 of that for my Gel-X full set including $10 tip and left hoping it just needed minor adjustments. After work, I called the salon and explained the issue. The receptionist scheduled me for a correction appointment the next morning at 10 AM and confirmed it would be free of charge. On 5/21/26, I arrived at opening time, though staff did not arrive until about 10:05 AM. Tracy and another employee inspected the nails and decided they only needed reshaping, despite me clearly explaining that the issue was not just the shape -- it was the bulkiness and placement. One employee even commented that I "should have said something yesterday," which was frustrating considering I had already voiced my concerns multiple times during the original appointment. To Tracy's credit, she did acknowledge that I had in fact spoken up. I could tell Tracy did not want to fix someone else's work, which honestly I understand. That responsibility should have fallen on management or ownership to properly resolve by having the original nail tech correct the issue. Instead, the fix felt rushed and dismissive. Tracy continued filing the nails despite me repeatedly stating they still looked uneven and off. At that point, I didn't want to argue further or create a scene, so I let her finish. Unfortunately, one nail on my left hand ended up looking even worse afterward, and the French tip line work became sloppy and uneven. This experience was disappointing because I really wanted to love this salon after hearing such positive recommendations. Their pedicure services absolutely deserve praise, and I will likely return for pedicures. However, I cannot recommend Gel-X full sets here unless you have the time and energy to closely monitor every step, repeatedly advocate for yourself, and stop the service the moment something feels wrong. I would much rather a salon simply tell me they do not have the proper supplies to complete a service correctly than improvise and still charge full price for incomplete or inconsistent work. The pedicure earned my trust, but the nails -- and especially the customer service during the correction appointment -- turned what could have been a minor mistake into an overall disappointing experience.
