That being said, my retention previously with other places was 3 weeks, if not more. I would only go once a month, ever. I first got a classic full set, and it looked great; I loved it! However, the same day and the following few days, my extensions itself fell off, without being attached to my actual lash. I thought maybe it was a lack of glue, so I made sure to bring it up for my fill, which I got 2 weeks later (which is the shortest amount of time I've ever gone for a fill). A majority of my extensions were gone by the 2 week mark. For my refill, I tried the hybrid lashes because I had some sparse areas with my natural lashes and it was recommended that I get hybrids to fill them in and make them look fuller. Again, I liked the look immediately after. And again, the very next day, my extensions were falling off, WITHOUT being attached to my natural lash. The girls here are super nice, but I can't justify spending money every 1.5 - 2 weeks for fills when I know my extensions could be lasting longer. I've attached a picture of how many lashes came off at a time. It looks like only 1 is attached to my natural lash; the others are extensions by themselves. The other picture is what my lashes look like A WEEK and a half later. I had to get a fill from somewhere else in San Antonio, and the lash girl there told me that because my natural lashes are thin, they weren't able to hold the lashes that Hello Lashes used, which I feel like the lash technicians here should have known based on what my natural lashes are like. Btw, my lash fill done in San Antonio are holding up, so it's definitely not me caring for them incorrectly!

Working in medical device sales, and more specifically the vision care industry, it is extremely important to me to not only have my eyes & lashes look amazing, but be done by a true professional. I have found it extremely difficult to find a lash boutique in the area that even remotely compares to the level of expertise that jasmine and the other girls have here. I travel frequently, workout daily, and wear makeup daily- the lashes LAST so long. Even when it has been 3 weeks since a fill, they still look incredible. The level of rudeness and disregard we experienced was unacceptable. My child and I arrived at 3:45p. After entering my information and selecting nail colors, talking to another customer,we were seated at a station.An older gentleman kindly offered us something to drink, mind you, the only courteous moment of our visit! My pedicure station wasn't even prepared with water, and no one communicated with us about any delays. Admittedly, I was sidetracked with time by having my child with me. By 4:30 PM, after 45 minutes of waiting with no service and no explanation, I decided to leave. pdated.Another customer noticed our departure before any staff member did. Not a single employee acknowledged us as we walked out. I even went back in to scan the QR code for this review and still wasn't acknowledged or updated. We immediately went to a different salon and received exceptional service! All staff were attentive, respectful, and worth every dollar. That salon received a well-deserved tip(extra to block out Rio's), a direct blessing that Rio Nails missed due to their lack of professionalism. Never tolerate or pay to be ignored, dismissed, or treated as though your business doesn't matter. Choose establishments that value your time and presence. I had them use dirty tools, try to overcharge and haggle with me for prices, and make me wait over 45 min for a pre-booked appointment. I also have specific things I look for in a nail salon that I want to outline here before going in. ***Edit***I typed the questions before I went and then filled the answers in the next day after my appointment. - so first off will this location be clean, maintain sterile standards/ abide by safety regulations? The majority of the service was done very much up to par. The only thing is they do not pour acrylic powder into a separate dish which is not ideal as any soft/absorbing surfaces/products should be discarded after a single use per state regulations. - Will they haggle prices? (They are running specials right now that do not have a "no-combination" disclaimer.) I honestly did not have the courage to ask them to use both but they did not add the "10% off all services" on my bill even though they have a huge banner out front. This makes me think they won't give you a discount if you don't ask even if they should. With the discount my acrylic fill with shellac was 40$ without tip. - Am I going to be sitting around waiting for my appointment that was booked more than 24 hrs in advance? I got there at 11:38 for an 11:45 appointment and they sat me immediately. They did leave me sitting for about 5-7 minutes however they started my service at my appointment time. After prepping my nails a bit the tech got up and left me there for at least 10 minutes before a different tech came and did my service. - Is the actual service pleasant, pain free, and generally enjoyable? The nail tech did a great job. She took her time and was very meticulously about the shape, borders, and symmetry which was really nice. She was also pretty fast which is a bonus. She checked in with me serval times during the appointment as well to make sure I liked my nails. This is really nice for someone who may not be as comfortable voicing their concerns. She also very professionally and graciously fixed a couple little things I voiced. - Is the overall product of my nail visibly appealing and what I wanted? The nails are awesome. They had a huge selection of colors I haven't been able to find at several salons and I'll definitely go back to try some others.
