I had a terrible experience at Deka Lash in Newport Beach. I went for a lash lift and tint. I ended up with a horrific eye infection - ended up in urgent care the next morning! I have to assume they used dirty supplies. Not only that but one of my eyes was done so poorly - the lift ended up coiling my eyelashes like little spirals so that you could barely see that I had lashes on that eye. It was crazy! Super cute lash studio and Kaylee is so sweet and nice. However, I gave Deka 3 chances...I've had lash extensions since 2014. Always had full looking lash's that last 3-4 weeks. I had to get a full set because after the first lockdown I took a break. I tried the true express and they fell out within a couple days. I booked a refill a week later. Then they also fell out quickly. So then I tried a classic, and now within less than a week you wouldn't even know I have extensions...I think the glue the use might not work well for me or something. This company does not know the difference between individual and cluster lashes. I received a text message from someone thanking me for my interested in Deka Lashes. I asked did they apply individual lashes. In the text message I was told yes. I requested individual lashes, and it was confirmed in the text message. Once the lashes were applied and I seen them, I asked the tech did she use cluster lashes, and she said yes. I told and showed her the messages, and she gave me the corporate number to call. I called and they ask me to send them a pic of my lashes. They refused to refund my money because they said a cluster of 3 lashes are individual lashes. I asked her to make it make sense. I would not recommend this company to anyone to get any service. I am in California working and I should have read the reviews first. More bad reviews then good ones. Horrible company that only cares about money not the customers. read more

Let me first just say, this is the first time I have ever done any treatment for my lashes besides wearing fake lashes for a special occasion or party. My usual routine for my lashes are a lash curler and mascara. I dont usually write reviews, but I loved my results! If your scared of doing it, dont worry, so was I at first. I am totally scared to ruin my lashes, and afraid of my lashes falling out. I dont have the longest lashes, and dont have naturally curly lashes either. I am asian and have stubborn straight hair. I booked with Sadee, and she was AMAZING. I couldnt recommend her MORE! She explained everything, and explained why it all was safe, and I had nothing to worry about. She really took her time with me. My lashes were very stubborn and didnt want to curl at first, but Sadee took her time and really made sure my lashes cooperated, she kept on working on my lashes until all of them laid down so that they can curl. The whole thing took 1hour, and you're pretty much laying down the whole time and closing your eyes. It was relaxing and super peaceful, and the place was beautiful and clean. I am a dental hygienist, and am super mindful of chair side manners, and Sadee was super sweet and gentle! Go see her! I highly recommend doing do a lash lift and tint, you wont regret it! read more

I dont know if it took long because I fell asleep but an hour is typical for eyelash extensions. The place is located next to the coffee bean. I like that it's a well known company, a brand thats reputable and trusted. I have gone elsewhere before. My last experience hurt my eyes and left my eyes blood shot for days. I looked like a mess.
