Coming from Florida where emissions testing is a relic from the past, it was both weird and annoying that I had to get it done here in Georgia when I moved to Roswell. Nevertheless, DEKRA made the process smooth, simple, and affordable. I got there right after they opened, so only one inspector was working at the time and there were two cars ahead of me when I arrived but I didn't wait long. After about 10 minutes, it was my turn and I was on my way 5 minutes later with the paperwork I needed and new wipers that my son's car was in desperate need of. A second inspector showed up before I left, so I imagine there wouldn't be much waiting at all for anyone who came after me. I still think this practice of emissions checking is a waste of time and money, but at least DEKRA made the process as painless as possible. I will be back until Georgia gets the memo that it is 2024 and this nonsense is no longer necessary, especially if your car is just a few years old. read more

Not too sure how this place gets 3 stars on Yelp. It may look like it's closed down from first appearance, but it's actually open and basically just drive in, Jermain in my case welcomed me and got me all set with a passes certificate within 3-4 minutes. If you're in the market for a quick emissions check and don't want to be harassed about the ten things they happened to notice your car needs right away (or OMG you'll die on the way home!) then this is the palace for you. It's really just a drive-through place in the middle of a parking lot that you could easily confuse with a car wash. But the employees are friendly and super efficient; and that's all I needed! I showed up today without an appointment and was in and out in about seven minutes - and that counts the two minutes it took them to finish up the person ahead of me in line! They charge $25 for an emission check, which is a bit higher than average, but I was willing to spend it for the convenience. As is standard now, all results are automatically uploaded to the renewal office. read more

Same experience with the coupon. I handed the guy the coupon, he said hold on to it. I made the assumption he knew to apply the $5 off. There was a car behind me, so when I was done, I drove out. I looked later. No discount applied. Have to think they do it on purpose. I've driven by other emissions stations, and they only charge $20. No coupon required. This is the last time I will use Dekra. They are a ripoff waiting to happen. read more

Only a 1 star because I had a coupon that I printed for $5 off and the person who did the inspection said it will be the original price minus the coupon value, but ended up charging me the full price anyway. I wasn't paying attention, but when I saw the receipt I noticed I was charged for the full price. I don't normally use this place to do emissions check, only went there this year because of the coupon. Kind of disappointed, I am not sure if the guy did this on purpose or just forgot to apply the discount. I just thought people should know. read more

Horrible experience....Avoid this station. Have an older antique car that requires the dyno for testing. Took to test and failed. Had the vehicle repaired at an expensive cost. Went back and on a Saturday and the young lady there told me she did not know how to run the equipment and to come back in few days. Went back Sunday and after the guy tech struggled for an hour the car failed again..... Contacted dealer and suggested another testing station. Took there Monday and car passed perfectly. This station has no idea what they are doing....they may be trained but training cannot replace knowledge and experience. Be aware of where you take your car... Will never go back and I have 5 newer cars read more

Rushed to get here before they closed at 7pm. Miraculously I arrived at 6:54pm and the attendant said he wouldn't do my emissions. I told him it wasn't 7pm yet and showed him the time. Needless to say he couldn't care less. read more

I came here on a Sunday at 11 am to get my emissions test done. Hannah C. was the worker, and she was nice, gave me easy instructions, and was finished in 10 minutes. It cost $25, which is about $5 more than usual, but there was no line and it has great hours, so I didn't mind paying a bit extra. I'd definitely recommend! read more

They charge the maximum amount allowed by law, $25.00, and the price is not posted anywhere. I will never go back to Dekra. I will go back to Sonuz, which is nearby and is just $18. And there are other cheaper places nearby as well. read more

I just hung up the phone with some guy ( I wish I got his name...he sounded very southern though)! I asked him how much emissions was and he said 25.00!!!! I said "what" in shock and told him I called 4 other places and they were all 15.00!! He said "yeah, you can go there and you'll wait an hour"! Not true! One place said there was no wait!
