First time I came across Del Cielo was at the Livermore Chamber Business Expo and learned that they were new in the Livermore neighborhood. What I did not know then was that they are just down the street from work. What a perk! Me being what I call a semi retired craft beer IPA lover/snob, needed to check this brewery out ASAP. So the first time I visited I was very impressed and loved the fact that this brewery has a house kitchen as many of the dozens of breweries that I've been to in my lifetime didn't serve food. With that being said, the first plate I ordered, the barbacoa empanadas was definitely a 10/10 and I highly recommend this shredded beef plate. After I encountered love at first sight with the craft beer and kitchen brewery, I have now visited many times. With many repeats of the empanada plate and I've also tasted many other items on their menu and have not disappointed. One of the Friday evenings I visited had a live band and lots of family with young kids running around and that was one of my least favorite times to visit because I was not able to find a table so easily, kids were literally causing a long line in the restroom while other kids were dragging their bodies on the floor. So due to that occasion, I prefer to visit during the day and when they don't have any special event or live performances scheduled. Overall, Del Cielo in Livermore built a great team for this growing and much needed establishment in Livermore. I really enjoy the craft beers selections on tap, the kitchen cooks are excellent and have not delivered a plate I have not enjoyed. The beertenders and food runners are always delivering great service which enhances the experience with an enjoyable atmosphere.

"Wow. What a Pleasant Surprise!" I've been to this pub before, when it was Shadowpuppets, and I didn't know what to expect. The bar was set pretty high.. Wow, much better than I thought! The brewery looks brand new. The friendly staff confirmed to me that every single thing has been modernized in this business--well, everything, except the concrete floor. The concrete is still the same, I think. A huge seating area, with both high tables and benches. Even the restrooms are spartan clean. In fact, everything in this business is extremely clean.. Someone spent a long time making this brewery look great. They were successful. Special shout out to the friendly bartenders , Lisa and Jessica. The staff here is super friendly and offered a big selection of lagers and pilsners to choose from. The food menu is impressive with things like salmon tacos, regular tacos, hamburgers, of course, plus chicken wings, plantains, empanadas, salads and rice bowls. Thanks to the chefs, Saul and Walter for doing such a great job in the kitchen. Thanks for making my visit such a pleasant one. I know it's hard to believe. But this is even better than the prior business.

A great brewery and venue that i did not know of till today. Its in the Livermore business park and looks like you are going to the office, but this space is really nice. Food and service is fantastic and lots of delicious beer and food to enjoy plus live music! Cant beat this.

Busy place with some tasty brews and fantastic service! We really enjoyed checking this place out and loved our beer, nice and cold for this hot evening! The nachos, eh, won't order again, too much like something you'd get at a little league game. Although a super busy night, the beer tenders were attentive and nice. We will return for the beer!

Super pleased to see the new Del Cielo open in Livermore. Overall the food was delicious and the beer was great. They had a wide variety for their tap list and many items that were unique flavor combinations that were not just run of the mill flavors. Their food menu is a touch on the expensive side in my opinion. Some of the items like Cubano of Burger for $17 are more reasonable but a shareable fries at $7, Yuca fries at $9 (although tasty), and pretzel (again granted it also has a bratwurst) at $19 may mean I'm only getting those as a special treat. Everyone is friendly inside and it seemed like a great place to hang out. I will be excited to see how they progress and I hope to see some fun events there!

We were excited to revisit the property since Del Cielo bought out the previous establishment (Shadow Puppet), a local favorite. We are thrilled that they are offering live music and live supporting businesses that do so. The remodel is modern and welcomes additional seating. There are many beers on tap. They have done a wonderful job of making the most of the space. I'm a dark beer lover and am a bit disappointed by the single offering in their menu which is why I knocked off a Star. Shadow Puppet always had two or three stouts or porters on the menu at any given time.

We went here this last weekend for their vinyl event. It was a great time. The staff were clearly busy with the event going on and having an influx of customers, but they were all very nice. We ordered the burger, the wings and the tacos and everything tasted amazing. Although, my husband did complain that the fries were a bit cold. The vinyl event went pretty smooth too and we were able to score some new records.

We've become regulars here, the food is amazing and the service is always great! We love the family friendly environment, and they have entertainment in the weekends for date nights

Do they have a trivia night?

Yes, it takes place on Wednesday evenings normally, but will be adjusting for the winter season, likely to Tuesday, as a Cornhole league takes over Wednesday and Thursday nights until March.

The inside and patio are both casual and open, similar to a brewery, and they have a self-serve tap wall, which is awesome. First time using one, and despite the self-service setup and ordering at the counter, the service we did get was great. Wait time for food wasn't long at all. I ordered the Sessions Burger, and it was lowkey one of the best burger's I've had in a while. I love blue cheese on a burger, and the caramelized onions had a deep, rich flavor. I also liked that it wasn't obnoxiously large for no reason. The fries were perfect, and the ranch was excellent. Honestly, ranch is a good way to judge a place like this, and theirs was rich and smooth. Also really enjoyed the beer I chose. Pouring it yourself is a fun experience, I could spend all day trying different beers. Great spot. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in town again. And no, it's not just the post-hike hunger talking, this place is serving seriously good food.

There's self serve beer on tap that you pay per ounce using a card they give you. Looked like a wide selection from IPAs to stouts. They also had a fun cocktail menu and plenty of food options from tacos to burgers. The hostess was really kind to explain to us how their restaurant works in terms of the self serve beer as you pay at that front beforehand. Whereas, food items and cocktail drinks are ordered at the back left corner. We ordered the "Such a Gemini" and "Paper cut". Both were more on the sweeter side and you couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Quite dangerous really. The "Such a Gemini" was a hibiscus agave drink. The "Paper cut" was more of a fruity mix with the elderflower and lemon mixed in the whiskey, which I was a HUGE fan of. Gorgeous presentation as well! As for the food, we got the Sessions burger (cheeseburger) and cod tacos both with truffle fries. And maaan. Cod tacos were cooked well and super fresh. Big fan of that red salsa on the side. The Sessions burger was juicy and not dry, but I really enjoyed how it served on a pillowy pretzel bun! Would love to bring my family and friends here! I'd recommend this place if you need a space to hangout at.

Leather seating and small tables where you can relax and meet up with friends. Our server was friendly who checked on us periodically. Their menu has an interesting blend of choices. They even offer deviled eggs that I hear are pretty spectacular. We ordered the Thai chicken salad and fish tacos. The salad looked quite good and my friend enjoyed it very much. The tacos are on petite, single shells with a piece of fish, avocado and cabbage slaw on each. I happily ate every bite. A side salad would have enhanced this dish. I wish I had ordered an appetizer, like the deviled eggs or brussels sprouts, as it would have rounded out my lunch well and it would have been more filling. I noticed a steady flow of people coming and going. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we were not rushed out by any means. I hadn't seen my friend in person for at least a year so it was nice to sit and just chat in a calm environment. Located directly across First Street from Sauced. This place is another positive addition to downtown Livermore.

The Chopped Kale Salad came with apple, radish, carrot, cotija, and Pepitas, all tossed in a tangy pomegranate vinaigrette; and the Chickpea Salad also had a base of kale topped with chickpeas, roasted sweet potato/carrot, and charred halloumi, and dressed with herbed pesto. The highlight of the menu was their creative pizzas, which you could order either on a thin, crispy Neapolitan crust, or on a thick, soft, square-shaped Detroit-style base with crispy baked cheese edges. The Fun Guy came with porcini cream, mushroom, onion, goat cheese, and pecorino; and the Hail Mary came with beer braised chicken, caramelized onion, cotija, garlic, and Calabrian chili oil, which gave the pizza a flavorful spicy kick.
