We have been here once before just when they were serving beer but came back because we heard they now serve some cocktails and food. To be completely honest they should probably just stick to beer. I ordered a sangria and when we got it I thought there was a mistake because it didn't look like sangria at all, it tased very watered down and almost like cough syrup. We also got chicken wings and a cheese flatbread to share. Not only did the food take over an hour to come out it was quite honestly awful. The pizza was exceptionally bad, I would rather eat a frozen pizza from my toaster oven at home. I might recommend stopping in for a beer but that's about it.

Great spot to grab a drink and personal pizza with a buddy. The place is small inside with a long table to share seating, or you can hang out outside on their patio (I haven't seen anyone take advantage of it this time of year). The bartender there is quite friendly and knowledgeable of their goods, and sold me on trying their Detroit style pizza. The pizza was delicious with their cup pepperoni and tangy marinara sauce, but the oily and dough-forward crust from being pan baked can stop you in your tracks after a couple slices. I would go here more often but everything here is quite expensive... $16 for a cocktail, $23 for a small pizza and such can hurt your wallet, and it's especially hard when you could spend that kind of money for a larger meal on the Pleasanton strip.

"Yay it's now open again!" I remember coming to this location about a year ago, but shortly after that it closed for a little bit for remodeling. This is one of my favorite tap rooms in the bay area. It's part of the Gilman consortium, headquartered in Berkeley. They have reimagined their business, which now includes cocktails and pizza. They make the pizza right here--it's not shipped in. They had a light Pilsner called Green-eyed Devil. Just what the doctor ordered! I had a chance to talk to the friendly GM, Jeff who explained their vision for this location. There's a beautiful outside area, as well as a pleasant inside area. Thanks to the friendly employees for making my visit a fun experience.

Cool spot in downtown Pleasanton! Loved the décor inside. They had an option of either drinking inside or in their outside back patio. They had games like uno and connect 4, im a big sucker for card and board games so that was definitely fun! Their beers were pretty good and they had decent prices. Will definitely come back if im in the area

Was super excited to learn there was a Gilman in Pleasanton after enjoying the one in Berkeley so much! Tap list at this location seemed to have only about half the selection that the original location had, but still a nice variety. I enjoyed the beer I had and so did everyone else in our party. It was pretty cold out when we went so we opted to sit inside, but it looked like they had a cute little patio on the side. Definitely would come back here if I was in Pleasanton, but would opt for the Berkeley location if I wanted to get my hands on everything they have to offer!

Whoa! This place only has 5 reviews?! HOW! I guess i was keeping one of my favorite hidden gems a secret, but the secret is out. Gilman Brewing in downtown Pleasanton is where it's at. This is a quaint little spot with delicious sours and porters. Perfect place to keep date night going, my boyfriend and I love to go after dinner if we're not quite ready to end the night. Dark, rustic interior with a large communal area in the center, beautiful chandeliers and several smaller tables on the sides. The outdoor patio is small but has character! The greenery on the walls, barrel tables, and lights make it very desirable to hang out...oh! and they have heaters. During summer/fall, they had tables out in the front and games of corn hole. The also have a bunch of board games if you're into that. Jenga is my game. Service is great, beertenders definitely know what they're talking about! I can possibly see them getting backed up on a busy day since they're taking orders and pouring at the front counter. I don't think they have any food other than chips and pot pies from East Bay Pie co. TLDR: Love this spot, vibes are chill, and prices are unbeatable! I need to catch their Wednesday comedy night!

It's open again! Come by and enjoy the greatest craft beers in The Bay. Bring your dog, grandma, and/or frog on a bicycle. All are welcome!

OK, This place just opened in downtown P-Town, but I'm already a fan! Came in for a few beers to go with a pizza we just bought at NYC Pizza next door. Asked the GM/Bartender to use one of the tables and he obliged us. Cool dude. It takes nerves of steel to open a bar during a pandemic, but the proven model they've honed at the flagship Berkeley location is awesome. The excellent, and I mean excellent brews really help as well. The GM/bartender was super pleasant to talk to and very knowledgeable about the business and the brews. The décor is really cool with corrugated tin wainscoting, exposed beam ceiling. An awesome new hangout in P-Town!!!

Wahoo - one of my favorite Berkeley breweries has made its way to the Tri-Valley! While I don't spend much time over here, I am just really excited for the locals to have this brewery expand to this neck of the Bay. I read a few reviews noting their "growing pains", but honestly I didn't really see anything that needed to be ironed out. It was a really smooth visit and they have a beautiful space with a gorgeous little plant-infused courtyard area (and some covered seating on the sidewalk). Customer service was friendly and I saw all the usual and delicious beers I'm accustomed to at their Berkeley tap house. I'm into anything fruity, which is what Gilman really excels at. On this recent visit, I got their cucumber beer and it was delicious. Check 'em out!

Their guava beer is bright and fruity, almost tangy. Service is alright. The mini alley you can sit and drink in has a good vibe.

The staff is friendly and allows you to sample the beer if you're indecisive about what to try or just don't know where to start. Dog friendly too! Their food selection and quality is also amazing and goes FAR beyond typical bar food. I noticed that they had lots of different options for food, which I liked. We saw they had a charcuterie board on the menu and had to order. It came with 3 different cheeses, walnuts, and honey. I wish it had came with more crackers and jam but it was a great pairing with our drinks while chatting. 9/10 Next we snacked on the Bavarian-style soft pretzel, which was huge. It came with their homemade sweet red ale mustard, which was tangy, but also sweet the perfect pairing. We also got the Southwest Veggie Queso and chips, which tasted like a mix between bean dip and nacho cheese-- a10/10, I was surprised by how good it was. We also tried the summer salad, which had mainly arugula, corn, cheese, and avocado. It was like street corn but in salad form with a light dressing --9/10. Lastly, we got the Margherita flatbread, this was small but amazing. I didn't get to take a picture because it was so good it gone within minutes Super cheesy too, though a bit pricey for its size.

I interacted with autumn, and Dazha, both of whom were very kind, attentive, and provided great recommendations. They provided excellent service. I did not have to wait very long at all to get a beer, or order any food. I was also appreciative that they were able to carry a conversation with me as a patron versus just treating me as someone who was impeding on their workday. Now, onto the beer. I enjoyed the No Tanlines IPA, & the Tropidank IPA. Both were phenomenal. Great taste profile, went down easy and not too heavy on the ABV. Those beers paired nicely with the food that I enjoyed. Speaking of food their menu is just the right size with the right amount of options. I didn't find it overwhelming because honestly nothing is worse than a large menu with excessive options especially at a brewery. Lastly, the ambience of the brewery was very enjoyable. It's just the right size, and they also have a rather eclectic music playlist that I particularly enjoyed and it seems that the Staff there enjoys it along with many of the other patrons. Overall, this establishment will be a place that I revisit again probably more than once during my time in Dublin California and it will certainly be my go to place for a post round of golf meal & beer(s).

The location and setting are nice with a shaded outdoor patio with extensive seating and a cozy feeling inside with tall tables and a nice bar. Service is a little spotty though. The last time I was there, I sat at the bar and noticed more of the staff dynamic than I've seen before. The bartender never once wiped down the bar top even though it was obviously covered in sticky spilled beer and bits of food. The staff were grumpy and didn't seem to be enjoying each other or serving people. One staff person complained about patrons and said they can either wait or order off the QR code...ouch. I got so tired of the bar vibe that I paid and took my beer outside to enjoy in peace. The beer selection seemed decent but I wasn't that impressed to think that I would frequent the place on future visits. They call themselves a brewery but I honestly didn't see any signs of brewing equipment and most of their beers were from other breweries. I'll give it another try but I might have to find a new beer spot.

We started with the Crispy Cauliflower, coated with tempura batter and served with lemon aioli; Roasted Brussels Sprouts, topped with chili flakes & Parmesan and served in a cast iron skillet; and the Hummus, topped with Pepitas and served with thin, crispy parm'd pizza bread. The Chopped Kale Salad came with apple, radish, carrot, cotija, and Pepitas, all tossed in a tangy pomegranate vinaigrette; and the Chickpea Salad also had a base of kale topped with chickpeas, roasted sweet potato/carrot, and charred halloumi, and dressed with herbed pesto. The highlight of the menu was their creative pizzas, which you could order either on a thin, crispy Neapolitan crust, or on a thick, soft, square-shaped Detroit-style base with crispy baked cheese edges. The Fun Guy came with porcini cream, mushroom, onion, goat cheese, and pecorino; and the Hail Mary came with beer braised chicken, caramelized onion, cotija, garlic, and Calabrian chili oil, which gave the pizza a flavorful spicy kick.
