Visited Las Positas this past weekend and enjoyed some wine and sunshine. There is plenty of seating on the outside patio and indoor seating. The food selection I feel is a bit limited but the sweet potato fries are a generous portion. The service is quick and the ambiance is calm and relaxing-- a great weekend reset. The wine is served as a flight for the tasting. The flight was a great variety of white and reds. There was also live music when we went. I will definitely come back for another relaxing weekend.

    Ahi tuna tartare (don't miss!!)

I discovered Las Positas Vineyard 2 years ago at the Taste of the Valley event, but just finally made it in for my first visit. It was absolutely everything I'd hoped it would be. The ahi tuna tartare was what they paired with their wine at the event that night (I believe Albariño) and I'd been looking forward to visiting the tasting room for a full experience ever since. It was just as delicious today as I remember it being then- and I already can't wait to come back. I did the $25 wine tasting and enjoyed each, but the 2021 Estate Coccineous spoke to me most. It was a perfect dessert wine without actually being a dessert wine. Looking forward to enjoying this bottle by a winter fire with a book! A gloomy but warm day with beautiful views of the vineyards as bright reds and oranges start to beam through, incredibly friendly service from the lovely staff this afternoon (I'm sorry I missed named!) A perfect afternoon to myself!

The food and service was amazing! Our waitress was very sweet and informative on the wines. The ambiance was nice a lot of people with their families and there even is an outside seating area with heaters. We really enjoyed our time here and the wines and flatbread were all delicious! I definitely would recommend this place and will definitely be back! We got the $25 wine tasting experience.

Fantastic experience!! Plenty of parking, ample seating both inside and outside and prompt friendly service. The views are also just stunning! My friends decided to get the white wine tasting which was $25. The wines looked delicious and I love the tower they come in, as it looks cool and saves valuable table real estate. Our server Bruce was such a damn legend! He was cheerful, had excellent recommendations for other wineries, and was nice enough to bring us samples. I didn't have any wine, but had thr albarino watermelon slushy. OH MY DAYS THIS THING IS SO SO SOOOO GOOD!! it was refreshing without being overly sweet and definitely one of the best slushies I've ever had! The flatbread was also quite delicious!

Another hidden gem in Livermore wine country. Great tasting experience yesterday on the outdoor patio overlooking their 20 acre vineyard...and great food (tapas and flatbread) to go along with their excellent wines...we loved it and will be back for sure.

Sure, it's to be expected. Outside seating, nice summer afternoon, food was just okay and priced at what you would expect. Nothing spectacular but if your hungry and want to go for a quick lunch and maybe hit a few rounds of golf I wouldn't say no. Service was okay as well.

Las positas winery was great. Honestly my fav part was their food! The wine wasn't bad but holy cow I was blown away by their awesome food selection, it was so tasty!

Decided to try a couple of wineries in Livermore over the weekend and picked Los Positas. It were the 2 of us, a kid and a dog. Very hot day, 100 degrees that day. We did not need a reservation but since we had a dog, we had to sit outside and even though there were umbrellas, it was not completely shaded and that's why it's not 5 stars. There was plenty of parking and the grounds are beautiful! For the tastings, they had a mix of white and reds, just whites or just reds. I picked the whites and my friend got the mixed. The tastings were reasonably priced at $25. They bring them all out at the same time but the pours were really tiny. I enjoyed the chardonnay and my friend liked the reds. They did bring out an extra pour of their sparkling rose, that was a nice pour and delicious! They also have a menu of nibbles but we did not order any food. There was a special of 40% off the price of a bottle if we bought 4 or more. It was an easy decision since the sparkling rose was delicious. We split and bought 2 bottle each and the winery comped the price of the tastings as well. All in all a good experience albeit a hot one!

We decided to spend part of our Sunday here at Las Positas, and we weren't disappointed. The wines we tasted were quite enjoyable. They have two types of flights: standard and reserve. Since there were two of us we got one of each. There were several unique tastes, and it was good to see the variety that they produce. We sat outside at a table under a big umbrella. The view was lovely, and we spent a good couple of hours sampling the flights. I'd say that for the price, the food was just OK. We bought a couple of bottles, and they took the price of one of the flights off the bill. Nice surprise.

We had a lovely time sitting outside and tasting a nice variety of wines! The wine flights were $25 for five tasting pours. On the day we went, the flight included 4 white wines and one Tempranillo. All were wonderful. Our server also offered us two extra tasting pours to try a sparkling and an additional red! She was very friendly and informative. The views of the rolling hills and vineyards were so beautiful as well! We would certainly return if we are in the area again.

4.75* (out of 5) Food: 5* Atmosphere: 5* Value: 4* Service: 5* 04/15/2023 Our friends picked this place during our visit to enjoy on a sunny afternoon in California and we all really enjoyed the experience. As a matter of fact, our friends liked it so much that they ended up signing up for the Wine Club - so they will get to enjoy the place during new releases throughout the year. For starters, we shared the Baked Bourbon Brie Cheese and all of us found it delicious - the bourbon and brown sugar sauce drizzled over the top was so tasty! For our 'main course' we each enjoyed a Wine Tasting (see picture) - samples of 5 different wines, served in a metal 'tower'. The presentation was unique and each of the wines tasted great. We enjoyed the 2021 Estate Rose best of the whites and the 2020 Estate Merlot best among the reds. If you found this review helpful, please show your appreciation with a Like or a Follow. From the very beginning, Diane went above and beyond to help me plan this special day. She answered my many questions, worked through every accommodation with me, and made the entire booking process seamless. Her kindness, patience, and genuine enthusiasm made me feel like she was just as invested in the celebration as I was. By the end of the planning process, I had unofficially promoted her to honorary bridesmaid status. When we arrived, Valeria and Kayla were fantastic. They immediately jumped into "surprise mode," graciously playing along by checking us in at the host stand and escorting us to our table without giving anything away. Their teamwork helped keep the bride-to-be completely unsuspecting until she walked into a room full of family and friends. Valeria also accommodated my request to play a millennial throwback playlist, and every hit had us singing along--it was the perfect soundtrack for the afternoon. Our server, Skylar, was equally wonderful. She made excellent wine recommendations, was attentive without ever making us feel rushed, and truly made us feel at home. Even after our reserved time had ended, she warmly invited us to stay and continue enjoying ourselves. What was supposed to be a two-hour brunch turned into nearly four hours of laughter, wine, and celebrating, and we never once felt like we were inconveniencing anyone. The beautiful winery, delicious brunch, excellent wine, and stunning atmosphere were everything I had hoped for. But what truly made this experience exceptional was the people. Diane, Valeria, Kayla, Skylar, and the entire Murrieta's Well team created an experience that felt warm, personal, and genuinely special. Planning a surprise from start to finish can be stressful, but thanks to this incredible team, all I had to do was enjoy watching my best friend's reaction. Thank you for helping create memories we'll cherish for a lifetime. We can't wait to come back!
