Located in the Surprise Civic Center complex, this gallery is featuring Black artistry from sculpture to quilting, photography to paintings and jewelry to ceramics. It was an impressive array. The gallery space can also be rented as an event space. The gardens outside are lovely with plants that shade in the beastly summer. Seating is plentiful under an arbor that covers an ample amount of space, perfect for meditation, conversation, or even a sack lunch. I'm looking forward to returning again as the exhibits rotate throughout the month to feature other Black artists handiwork.

Changing review from 1 star for that reason alone. Will there be a refund for delivery, tip and inconvenience? An apology? I finally made a claim through my bank. The arrangement in the case was beautiful and just what I was looking for. I paid in full and made plans to pick up the arrangement a few days later. When I picked up the arrangement later that week, I saw it and was immediately disappointed. It looked nothing like what I was shown at my last visit. I was in a rush and didn't have time to complain. I realize this is my fault and they likely would have fixed matters. Instead of a beautiful sympathy arrangement, it was now the day of the funeral and I had a vase that looked like it had one of everything in it. It didn't seem like it was worth the price I paid. Supporting small businesses is so important, but I feel like I was let down here.

The whole area is shaded and super comfortable, so it doesn't get nearly as hot as you'd expect. They have a store with merch and can foods, a big space for kids to play and they even have toys and corn hole boards. I saw they sell pizza freshly made in a brick over and it looked delicious but I didn't see the menu or prices. Also I didn't see the eggs for sale maybe it's because they were sold out. Also I didn't know who is an employee here there was no one at the coffee stand, not the gift shop. Only employee I saw was the cashier but he was very quiet plus was busy with other customers. But nice place to visit and walk around.
