Worst experience of our lives dealing with such scammers!!! Don't believe the 5-star reviews. Had the worst experience ever - 5 months to do our roof. A fight the whole way - smooth salesman hooked my wife and what a mistake. Disappeared for days on end - promised they were the best. Now 2 years later we are redoing our $70,000 roof. They didn't do the valleys right, they didn't do the flashing right and now we have a $10,000 bill to fix our brand new roof that leaks!!!!! Your an idiot if you use this company. I had a new roof done with Del Sol about a month ago in Miami Springs and I am very happy with the entire experience. They were always professional, very responsive, and the quality of the job was outstanding. The people who were at my home doing the job were extremely efficient and professional and ensured the job was done quickly. I am very happy with the service and the work done. The worst Customer Service ever. The person answering is so rude and nasty that if this is the front to the company I will never do business with them. I called just to say that I repeatedly on the same day receive in the mail triplicate flyers from them and to please delete us from the mailing list and the woman that answered representing Customer Service Del Sol Roofing told me that she didnt care to do whatever I wanted with them and after a few nasty remarks when I said this was a waste of trees and resources hung up on me. Everything started just fine with Del Sol, Raul the salesperson informed me about the replacement of the roof he is trustworthy person, he helped with his experience and knowledge to select the right tile. Thereafter the installation started and the payments, when it was done the job I made the last payment. I was happy with my new roof, the week after I was cleaning the area and underneath the plant, hidden I found a piece of tile from the balcony, I checked the balcony and in the left front a piece of tile was missing, I contacted Raul and Del Sol, the answer was the owner has to make a decision, I never received a response I follow up and I received a text message from Amy advising with a photo taken by a representative of Del Sol with red circle indicating that the area showed a crack, I advised that is a mold from the weather, she again said that the owner will make a decision. Called in for a quote and had someone at my house the same day. Honest guy named Leo gave me a pretty steep price but was polite and very informative of the rates and a heads was given on shortages in supply so I didn't get my hopes up on a speedy repair. Customer service could be better in the office but I got answers when I called. Now after 3 months they've completed and I'm glad I stuck with Leo cause its looks better than I imagined since I let him pick the color. Will be letting them do my other property. read more

Awful service. Tiles are faulty (white stripes of some compound has been "leaking" for 6 months. Del Sol rep (Leo Moreno response was to blame the tile manufacturer. That does nothing for our $30k wasted expense. so very disappointing. read more

Customer service (none) After calling them multiple times to check when they would start my roof, finally they started it 3 months later, they gave the excuse of waiting for the city and permit (not) Once they stated the roof another 4x issues. Sloppy work, garbage everywhere barely cleaned up the nails around the property, and all other items they used on roof. Sloppy work, sloppy customer service. Manager can give three ..... for the customer. Never ever using this Company again or referring to any one. I have multiple properties, and I have gotten roofs done with multiple company's in the past, but this one is the worse ever. What a disappointment. After several weeks of trying to contact them, two missed appointments, never a call back and attitude from office staff they let me know they have to void our roof warranty. They claim it appears to have been patched by another company. We are the new owners and were not made aware of any leaks or issues during the inspection period. No patches were mentioned then. Now when we have a problem they're claiming they can void the warranty for "work the previous owner" must have done. Aside from the disappointing outcome, I offered to pay for them to redo the patches and then honor the warranty as the roof is only 6 years old. They said no. read more

I gave 1 star because i had to if I could give minus 10 stars I would Look at the pictures their company truck leaking oil on my driveway, roof paper is peeling up , mess of garbage theirs left on my front Lawn had to call and make a big ordeal for them to come and pickup Drive way never cleaned roof paper lifting never corrected and still 3 months later no tiles. Need a roofer call someone else DO NOT USE THEM RUN RUN YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. Our relationship with Del Sol roofing dates back to 10 years ago when they did a magnificent job on a shingle roof at the time. We were so impressed that we called them again to re do a flat roof, shingle roof and wood fascia and siding in 2020. Del Sol roofing did an amazing job!! VERY skillful workers / carpenters worked in unison not only on our flat roof and shingle roof but also they did an amazing job on wood fascia and soffit!!! Raul Carrasco came to our home and began designing the project and explaining everything in detail. We felt at ease with him as he was very patient and answered all our questions promptly. Great communication throughout the entire process!!! Amy, Sue, Javier and Carmen were our contacts in the office. Always keeping us updated with pictures and any relevant information. They did everything!! We did not have to worry about anything not even about getting a permit or paying for one!! Please don't forget to ask them about their warranty. It is amazing!! Not only Del Sol is GAF Master Elite certified but they offer the longest peace of mind warranty in the market. That shows how confident and proud they are about their workmanship and materials!!! If you are not aware what a GAF Master Elite certification entitles, this is short summary: A Master Elite roofing contractor is someone who has been factory certified by GAF, one of the oldest and largest roofing companies in the United States. Excellent work quality. When you get an estimate, ask for Leo, the guy is a class act. Knows his stuff and answers all your questions. It's construction so of course delays will happen and if it rains, expect delays but these guys were professional about it. Just an FYI, in FL all tile is on backorder so if you're doing tile, expect a long turn around time. That has nothing to do with how good the company is. Highly recommend them. I have to say that overall from the salesman to the timeliness of the workers to the communication and courtesy from the lady calling to ensure everything was running smoothly and even the friendly and convenient courier.. they were on point The only reason I didn't give a full 5 (I would have given another half if I could) is because like all general contractors sometimes they forget that we "civilians " don't always understand the terminology and sometimes things have to really be broken down in a way that makes more sense. This has happened and few times already where I guess the salesperson doesn't really explain things thoroughly or maybe it's a misunderstanding or the contract is not 100% clear. Please just make sure you go through EVERYTHING beforehand and ask questions regarding even the minimal fine print. Surprises are sure to arise once the job begins. Don't get me wrong they don't do ANYTHING without running it by you and consulting you first. But if something is not clear in the contract you really can't say they didn't warn you. It's there, but you have to understand what you're reading or you may get a rather curt and impatient manager on the phone basically talking to you like you're a nut job for not understanding his lingo. We have been waiting 11 months and 20 days to get the roof done. The contract expires on the 1st of April, today is March the 18th, they have not put the tile on the roof yet. The company has used the contract as a Puppet contract to use my parents as puppets, meaning they have received all payments as established in the contract but they have violated every dateline. This includes NOT passing the inspection by the County two weeks ago, around March first (when the county inspects a small sample of roof to give the green light to finish the job) This has been aggravating, insulting, given the fact that we have tried avoiding to incur in Attorney expenses given them the luxury of good faith and understanding. At the beginning the staff at Del sol roofing was helpful once they got paid things changed. First, They started construction 4 months after they got paid. Second, while removing the old tiles from our roof the workers damaged our awning, drive way, cracked the tiles of our door way, left debris everywhere which took months to clean up. Our home did not look the same. After many tears, phone calls and personal appearances, it took del sol roofing over a year to some what replace our roof. They haven't fixed the damages they made and the roof doesn't look like it should. We are very unsatisfied customers and would not even recommend them to our worst enemy. The owner doesn't even bother to return your calls and the staff are not helpful . We wanted to cancel so many times but once you sign the contract that's it so be careful. Irresponsible company and I do not recommend at all. I called them to get a quote for my roof, and they quickly came and gave me a fair price and were quick to answer my questions. At first I thought this is a great company so I decided to sign a contract with them. Miguel, who was the man who came to my house gave me a date of Mid January for work to start. So I gladly gave them my deposit and waited. Problem #1 I get a call that the shingles I wanted were not available any longer so I had to choose from the designs they had. It wasn't much of a choice. But since I needed to repair I just chose the one the matched the design I wanted. Problem #2 When January came and went I had to call them asking for a status (Since no one called me to explain what was happening) and was told that the start date needed to be pushed down to Mid February. No reason for why it would take that long. So I said ok, I would be patient. Then last week Miguel calls me that they need more pictures of my roof in the back and if I can take them and send it to him. So I did and was told that work would be started Feb 23rd. So today I called them since I didn't hear back from them and was told that the job would be delayed yet again because they needed to pull the permit (Why would they wait until late february to get a permit since December). So I said cancel the contract and return my money. No follow up to customers or explanation for anything. I guess they must have many clients to the point they can be arrogant and not need new clients. I will definitely not recommend them. I hope I can get my deposit as quickly as they took it from me so I can get another roofing company. read more
