The chicken soft tacos are more like cat food, small flakes of chicken instead of chunks. Slowest line ever...I should have been offered a free cookie for the wait. I have to admit, I'm very impressed by the friendly service and food quality at this Del Taco location. We live nearby so this is our go to location, but I've dined at other Del Tacos and this one is ten steps higher in quality than the others. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. Been patronizing this place for 14 years. Boy, has the service gone way down. Not only was the service bad but the food didn't taste quite the same. They took awhile to get our pretty simple order out and they served the ones who came after us first. When we brought this to their attention, female employee did not apologize, was defensive and had an attitude. I asked to speak to the manager and it turns out she's the manager. Just drove here for my 30 minute lunch. Order and get talked into adding a stupid taco that I didn't want but the kid sounded desperate so I bought it. Get back to work my entire order is wrong. Drink, food, and even no fork. Drove all the way back and ask to speak to a manager to get a refund and he doesn't even bother to ask why or offer any sort of apology as to their huge mistake. So basically I just spent my whole lunch driving there to get food that I did not order and then back to get my money. I work in healthcare so I barely get time to eat at all and now I have to go back into work without eating. Thank you for the crappy service and on top of that they didn't give me a receipt so now I have to give a very detailed account to the customer service line based on the time I was there and no from an actual receipt. What can I say about Del Taco? I've been going to Del Taco for well over 35 years, ever since I can remember, and it's my favorite fast food. Here's what to get, don't argue. 1. Green burrito, extra cheese. 2. Del beef burrito. Get ketchup, you'll need to add ketchup. Trust me. 3. Quesadilla. Not the bullshit spicy jack, the OG cheddar. Get mild sauce. Use large amounts of mild sauce. Like one packet per wedge. Think of the wedge of the quesadilla as a vessel to get large amounts of mild sauce into your pie hole. 4. Classic Chicken Burrito. I don't know what the creamy sauce is, but damn it's good. 5. Crunchy taco. One packet of mild sauce per taco. Blows away the tacos at the Bell. 6. Bun taco. It's a taco on a hamburger bun. Genius. Not feeling like 'Mexican' food? Can't go wrong with a Double Del Cheeseburger (delicious) and fries (the second best fast food fries out there). read more

It is what it is...a fast food joint. This location though seems to have decent staff compared to others. Immediately pulling up to the window after ordering we were greeted with a smile and a kind hello from a gentleman working the window. For a fast food, this place is alright with the friendliness of the staff, but the food on the other hand lost some stars. I had odered the Chipotle Chicken Burrito and was expecting a nicely, evened out burrito to fill my belly with happiness. Man, was that thing salty though! Another docking of points in my books was also how the burrito was put together. It was like they expected me to eat it like a piece of corn (side to side) and not just on one end. I was in different "lands" with each 3 bites. Horrible. Lettuce only land....then chicken land....then the sauce divide. This is the 2nd time I've had rude employees at this location. Never have an issue at any other location. I went through drive thru to get a drink while I wait for my son's pizza at Papa John's next door. I tried to use a reward to order 1 value coffee when spending 3.00. I advised at the speaker of my reward and asked what my total was prior to ordering the coffee and asked to add 1 value coffee. I got to the window and the employee already seemed very impatient handing me straws, food, quickley as if he was already bothered. When he tried to hand me 3 iced coffees, I advised I only ordered one. He got upset and said no you ordered 3, I said nicely no I ordered 1 and told you I was using a reward for a free value coffee when spending 3.00. He got upset and told me again that I ordered 3. He stopped and gave attitude than proceeds to give me change for the incorrect coffees, and doing it with attitude. I was on Bluetooth phone, when my friend literally asked where are you, and why is whoever talking to you being rude lol. If it's enough for someone to over hear the attitude, it is literally not called for over your mistake! Slow down, stop shoving peoples orders so impatiently and stop with the attitude! This Mexican fast food restaurant just recently finished a total makeover. Completely new interior featuring new tables and chairs, new floor, new design, etc. Quite impressive! Restaurant is very clean and appealing! Food is tasty. Portion sizes are above average. And costs are quite reasonable. I saw my plate was ready but it was just sitting there waiting for someone to put the lid on(togo). Cashier lady asks me, "can you sit down? You're making the person making the food nervous." Huh?
