Finally gave this place a try. I have to say the food is authentic and quite delicious! Our server could have used a little more training about "service with a smile". I'm not sure what the owners are going for, but this wasn't what we hoped for. Also, the bar was playing music videos depicting gun violence and over sexualization of young women. We stopped by with friends for dinner, and had a great experience. They have a nice outdoor patio, which is enjoyable. Service was friendly and great. The operators also run the Gresham Burrito next door (also a favorite!), though this is a higher quality experience. The cocktail sampler was a great way to start. Each cocktail has great flavors, and the presentation is excellent. We shared a molcajete platter, which was way too much for 3 of us (we had a large plate of leftovers). The flavors were excellent. Give this place a shot! You'll love it. read more

How have we not known about this place!? I've seen it and thought from time to time thought we needed to try it. Welp the family and I finally made it in tonight and we're so glad we did! Drinks were AMAZING!!! Food was delicious and fast. Service was attentive. This might become our new staple. read more

Fancy new tables with cocktail towers. Place was empty on a Tuesday afternoon so we were a little put off. CAMARONES are the primary menu item so my wife ordered a broiled shrimp dish. I ordered a Carne asada fajita dish. I asked for a medium cook but ended up with two very thin but large slices of beef that were tough to cut and chew. Spanish rice was bland, but there was generous amounts of salsa and guacamole. Unfortunately everything was quite bland and it was real effort to try and cut the beef into pieces for the fajitas. No ciders or margaritas were available, just a long list of cocktails. Overall, not a good experience. Too bad as it is right next door to Gresham Burrito which is usually a good experience. read more

I really wanted this place to be amazing but it fell a bit short. I was excited when they brought out the chips and salsa because they a bean dip as well. They get props for that and they are very kind. As for the food I found it to be very bland. I also ordered a Pepsi and it tasted more like diet soda then regular so maybe they need to check the connections to the soda machine. If you don't like or are allergic to seafood this place is not the place for you. They have very few options that don't include seafood. It will be interesting to see how they evolve and if the menu does change. There is a lot of competition when it comes to Mexican food in the area. I'll go back and try the drinks at a later date. read more

We are visiting from out of state and love trying different restaurants. This restaurant wasn't busy when we came in. Our waiter was very nice and they had great music playing. The Cocktail flight was cute and delish!! Aquachiles was just okay but everything else was pretty good. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. read more

Yes sir! Get after it. These people are doing great things for the area it's the Gresham/Troutdale/Wood Village burrito people and they just stepped it up and made it nicer. It is a little more expensive but totally completely reasonable they stepped the food game way up. It is as though they said you think this cheap stuff is good? You should let me cook for you at home one time and see what good really is. We got two massive tacos each, rice and beans, chips and salsa, so full for lunch and it was $20. Go try it now and quit being stupid. read more

Sooooo good! Me and a group of friends went. Tried the cocktail flight. There were drinks on the flight I wouldn't normally order off the menu but I was more than impressed with all four of them. Definitely makes me want to try the other cocktails on their menu. We got the aguachile and that was delicious. The Alejandro's special was soooo yummy. Everyone liked their tacos. The shrimp egg rolls were alright, nothing special though. I will be going back! Didn't get any pictures :( read more

Sorry but food was extremely dry ( fried fish and carne asada). The chips and salsa/beans were good, cocktail flight was ok, some were good some tasted like it only had juice. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants nearby so hopefully the food improves but personally will not return or recommend. read more

Went out with friends. Service was excellent but the food was questionable. Ordered a pollo asada plate and it was terrible. The chicken was dry and had zero flavor. The ceviche was decent but not amazing. Not sure that the would recommend anything past the drinks. read more

Pretty good but has some bugs to work out. Service was good but chips and corn tortillas were quite stale. Salsa and bean dip was excellent. I had shrimp fajitas. There was lots of shrimp and peppers but onion was lacking and overall the dish didn't have much flavor. Sitting outside would have been much nicer - the patio looked very inviting. But it was a little too chilly to sit outside. Inside, the dining area is open to the kitchen and someone was using a very loud machine, which was aggravating. Also, the tables have a pedestal built into the middle which makes a table for 6 very awkward as the pedestal takes up a bunch of room and is too tall to be of much use, except for blocking the view. I'll I'll give it at least one more try! read more

The food and service are excellent. The bacon wrapped shrimp are among the best I have had including some I had in Cabo. I would definately take out of town guests there! Seating is available both indoors and out and everything is extremely clean and bright! Downtown Gresham is continuing to develope and become much more interesting and vibrant. read more
