Service is quick not bad we've had some amazing servers and some not as friendly but today was good and food is a little bland on the Vegan side definitely need a vegan in the kitchen to help flavor profile but we love this spot and it's definitely worth the visit

Thus far we have been twice. Both times it was good, yay for happy hour. I will say this really it the place for parties in the area. One time they had 3 birthdays and to other time they had one. Also, you can talk with others but I wouldn't say it isn't quiet. Very Instagram friendly. The food is good, nothing beyond belief but is good when you have a craving for Mexican food. Also, going during happy hour is a great time, if you're on a budget. Their offerings are not just extra chips. Of the two times, one the service was so good the other, it wasn't bad but it wasn't as good. A good place to celebrate and have fun drinks.

This place is quite good. Reminds me of east coast style mex joint. My wife is very picky about the enchiladas and margarita factory meets her standards. I find the reviews very misleading referring to price. This is a beautiful place with high quality ingredients, rent is probably astronomical. The price is there, it is spendy compared to most Mexican, but it definitely stands out. The queso is by far the best in town, most places just can't seem to get it right. Generally do to go, but the service I've had has always been good. Keep up the good work and thank you for bringing some quality to Gresham read more

Everything is bigger in Texas, but the location in Gresham lives up to the same hype. The inside is decorated for fun. They take big groups, and with the amount of alcohol in the margaritas, it can get a bit rowdy. The portions are massive. I have tried a bit of everything on the menu, and nothing has been disappointing. They can make most of their drinks without alcohol and they still taste great. Be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. The margs run about $20 for a plain one, and the fun ones are closer to $25. Oh and a side of sour cream is going to cost your left arm. read more

History

Jorge and Betty, along with Edgar's parents Jose and Maria Castro, began their career in Guadalajara, an international destination for Mexican cuisine. The base of every Margarita Factory recipe comes from Jose, who Jorge credits as being the greatest influence on his restaurants. Although his parents have formally stepped down from the business, Jose still comes in to cook several hours a day, and both parents are always ready to step up and pitch in when needed. The Margarita Factory restaurants were built on a foundation of faith and family, as well as an enduring drive to overcome adversity. Edgar Castro, Jorge and Betty's brother, battled cancer, and as soon as he felt well enough, he was back to work managing the Mill Plain Margarita Factory -- this time with even more drive, determination, and passion.

We decided to have sixteen or twenty drinks instead and signed up for top billing with the karaoke DJ. Sherry's went first with Diana Krall's "Peel Me a Grape". She broke a leg man - not a dry eye in the house: even the punk rockers were beside themselves. I mopped up with Frank Zappa's "Dirty Love". The girl's were screaming like back in the 60s - they mobbed me and someone took my shoe. Our cash was gone so we left while some kid was bringing down the house with a rousing rendition of Snoop Dogg's "I Don't Need No Bitch".

The fish and fries were both delicious, but for the price the fish portions felt on the small side. With the amount of fries that came with it, I wasn't left hungry. My husband ordered the A1 burger, which he struggles to take bites of due to the height. He thought it was delicious and cleaned the whole plate. Our kids had the grilled cheese with fruit and the chicken strips with fries. Both enjoyed their meals very much (and dug in before I could snap pictures). I was impressed by the size of the chicken strips. Overall a great experience, thanks Blue Pine!

As a child I was saw the world with so much wonder and awe, the world was such a big place, there were so many mysteries to be carefully analyzed and solved. After a long day of exploration and expanding one's mind I was always hungry and would come home to fresh, home cooked meals courtesy of my mother. It was the feeling of "wholeness" in her food that stuck in my mind for years to come, as no fast food ever had that fulfilling feel to it when consumed. After coming to Mojave, which ironically was a recommendation from my mother, I was at a loss of words. They may be somewhat pricey, but sweet baby jesus, that GUACAMOLE. I am not a man of God but DAMN this guacamole must have been crafted by none other than Zeus himself! It wasn't nearly as chunky as the picture on the menu made it seem, however, the textures and flavors of the guacamole made up for that and more. The service was pretty good, but in all honesty, I came for the food not the service. On another note, there were a few people in the bar who smelled strongly of "herbs" and I think its great that Mojave accepts it with the new recreational laws coming in June. Hopefully someday there will be a Mojave on every corner, keep Oregon green! read more

From the moment we sat down, she made us feel incredibly welcome with a warm and genuine smile. her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she provided excellent recommendations that made our meal truly memorable. Angelissa was attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring our glasses were filled and that we had everything we needed. Her friendly and professional demeanor added a personal touch to our dining experience, making it even more enjoyable. The food was fantastic, but it was Angelissa's outstanding service that really stood out and made the evening special. What a great example of a mighty fine business. I'm not a yelper who gives out 5 star reviews easily and It was not in my plans to come here, it was suggested to me by a friend. First impression was the layout and how it flowed, and how every seat had some king of privacy in mind when organizing. Most small places just want to cram people together, which can feel a bit uncomfortable and thus shortens ones stay. I could tell that a lot of thought went into every detail in this restaurant. Even the bar seats are very comfortable. I was there for happy hour and it was pretty busy, but we didn't feel rushed to order. Food is fantastic! great quality of beef and well seasoned makes this a winner. Seriously it's better than most. read more

I have mixed feelings about this establishment but our server Angelissa was absolutely incredible! My partner has quite a bit of allergy restrictions and Angelissa was able to help us find the best meal for my partner to enjoy and didn't seem irritated at all our questions. We usually go to the Happy Valley location, but feel Gresham might be our new favorite. I feel this restaurant can be overpriced almost always hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but this was the first time our service was genuinely amazing! a few other servers also came over to check on us multiple times. we felt very welcomed and cared for. would go back just to see Angelissa and the rest of the staff again. read more

Went in to celebrate a friends birthday. It was on a Saturday at 4:30pm. We wanted a reservation for 8. Because they had so many reservations already they wouldn't let us make one. Thus the 4 stars. The server was nice, pretty prompt, good at keeping the iced tea full and the drinks coming to the table. The food was excellent, though next time I'll get the jalapeños on the side as there were more than I would've liked. They got a couple other food orders mixed up, but everyone seemed happy. This local Mexican chain is genuinely impressive! I've visited the Vancouver locations, but this one truly stood out. I immediately loved the vibrant atmosphere and the clever layout of the space. The service was exceptional--our large group felt well-cared for as the staff were incredibly patient and accommodating. And the food? It was delicious, meeting every expectation. There is absolutely no dish in your entire life that could prepare you for the Chunky Guacamole at Mojaves Grill & Cantina, the guacamole had a fresh, lemony taste and had the most perfect texture to it. And the desserts were to DIE FOR. Literally. The deep fried ice-creams were the perfect size to still be able to finish after the main course. The waitresses were polite, attentive and our food came out relatively quickly. Would recomend as a family friendly restaurant. read more

WE LOVE HANNAH! Amazing food exceptional service! Most friendly and attentive server I've had in a long time name d Hannah. Knew a lot about the menu which was helpful and had all the answers to our questions. My partner and me wanted to watch the Olympic Track trials on yesterday and have some lunch. My wife and I continue to return to Mojave. We have gone in for lunch, dinner, happy hour or just to enjoy a sporting event. On many occasions, we invite others to join us. She loves the chips, salsa and chunky guacamole while waiting for our food. The generous portions are always more than enough. The staff has always taken very good care of us. Fantastic service. Our server was Wilmer and he was an example of perfect service with a smile. Our food was brought out quick, hot, and exactly as requested. Wilmer checked in on us perfectly. First experience in this location with my husband and kids. Had such a wonderful experience after a long start to our week. Pleasantly surprised by our heaping portion of fajitas portions are so generous and delicious. Kids loved their smoothies. When you order Taco's there you get charged for the condiments. For a Large Cadillac Margarita I don't care what it cost but put the Grand Marne in it please. I shouldn't have to ask twice for it. The bill for two people to eat and a couple of cocktails is 90.00. But I had to pay extra for sour cream. REALLY. I will go back but I wont pay for condiments again that is for sure. read more

I LOVE this place! yeah, sometimes they're insanely busy and it takes a while to get service... but they've really up'd their game by adding runners that come around filling chips and salsa - so even when they're crazy-busy, you still get attention. This is my first time visiting Mojave grill & cantina and we had Riley as a server/bar tender and he was fantastic! Not only did he get our food/drinks in a reasonable time, but he also was very funny and kept great conversation! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and great service.
