Food~Platters were both really good. It was flavorful and piping hot. The black beans are good but, the pinto beans were amazing. Condiments were fresh I really enjoyed the guacamole and salsa were delicious. Service~The Cook was really nice and even though they didn't close until 9 they decided to close early at 7. The Cashier said we had to take it to go (6:30) and, it was another family seated already (he reminded them they were closing soon)! I understand it was Christmas Eve but, they didn't have pacific hours listed that would've told you differently. Ambiance~it's plenty of parking and, it's a very clean place. There's music is playing loudly but, you can still hold a conversation. Restroom are available in the back to the left next to the fountain drinks. Just like any other timely food resuraunt on 82nd, they have gen z brocholli heads working with no sense of urgency, or integrity.... The dude poured a bunch of oily greasy stuff the chicken was soaking in, on my burrito and made it super wet, he proceeded to skip steps, and not even pay attention to what he was doing.... It was good the first time I had it but shame on this place for allowing kids to disrespect peoples food.... 82nd ave should just be wiped out and replaced with farmland at this point. read more

The food was fresh and hot I could taste everything. I appreciate it when their products are happy and top shelf quality. It's like subway but with enough staff that you get your food quick you pick and choose your products custom to your selection . Its a beautiful restaurant the counters the whole kitchen is plain view. Clean you see what you're getting and the service. The interior is excellent brand new . I've driven past this place many times, and after my first visit today, I only wish I'd stopped in sooner! The food is super yummy--I ordered a chicken burrito bowl, and they definitely didn't skimp on the chicken or toppings. The hot salsa was incredibly fresh with the perfect amount of kick, and adding the enchilada sauce was a delicious choice. Inside, the space is huge, featuring cool chandeliers. The walls are broken ceramic,and great background music. The staff was friendly, fast, and efficient without making me feel rushed. 100% recommend, and I will absolutely be back! read more

Ordered on DoorDash and was quite underwhelmed. It's clear that they were going for a Baja Fresh knock off but they missed the mark completely! Paid $40 for (2) meals, one was a kids meal. The kids meal was missing items and I was told it was bland. The bean and cheese burrito was a light layer of beans and cheese that was not fully melted (picture included). They forgot the side of rice and chips and salsa. The pineapple shrimp salad was good, which is why it's a 2 star and not a 1 star. However the bag of what I'm assuming is supposed to be chips that came with it was really oily and without flavor (besides oil). They didn't provide any napkins or utensils. I've passed by this spot so many times, but one day I got to-go from here and was very surprised by the quality and portion! My boyfriend and I ordered the burrito bowl and the pineapple shrimp salad one day for lunch, and both dishes were delicious. The burrito bowl was a huge portion and there was lots of sauce, protein, and it was very hearty. Meanwhile, the pineapple shrimp salad was light, delicious, and also very filling. It was genuinely such a good meal and we had leftovers after as the portions were huge. I would highly recommend and constantly think about going back. read more

Been wanting to try this place as we usually go to the BBQ place behind it. This restaurant definitely can be seen from the street. Upon walking in I noticed how big the place was. Tons of seating with nice wooden chairs and tables. There are a lot of large copper (at least I think they're copper) bowls hanging above the area where they build your meal. You walk up to the menu and then order. You watch them make your meal as you specify the ingredients you would like. Everything looked good. I opted to try the sweet onion rice and when I took the first bite, I did taste the sweetness. I liked it. The staff was really nice and answered any questions I had about the menu items. Once all of our food was ready, we paid and selected a place to sit. More people came in after us so that's a good sign. I ordered the fish tacos. The slaw is came with was sweet and reminded me of a slaw you'd have at a BBQ. It wasn't like the slaw I had with fish tacos I had before. And they didn't have that sauce/crema that fish tacos usually come with so that was a little disappointing. But overall, I did enjoy my meal. Hubby got the steak fajitas. That was a good sized meal. It came with all the fixins. But he sid say that the meat seemed a little dry. Son also got fish tacos but just got it with pico de gallo. 3 stars for now. So I got two fish tacos and two shrimp tacos (a la carte) The shrimp tacos had an amazing flavor, the mango salsa is delicious. My issue is that they don't drain the shrimp out of the skillet. So all the oil/butter that they sautéed them in just gets poured over on your taco. So when you're eating, it's just a wet mess. Got a nice grease plop on my pants as a souvenir. 3.5/5 The fish tacos had the same great topping flavors but the fish itself was over fried and also not drained well. Made it a tougher texture than it should have been which ruined its flavor. 2.5/5 The staff was cool enough but one of the employees on break was sitting in the restaurant with his phone on speaker and it was so dang loud. First time here. Ordered a burrito bowl. I'm a picky eater, so I don't like a lot of different items in my bowl. I told him (tall, gray hair) that I want mostly rice and corn because I don't like other things. I noticed he didn't add extra of either and kept moving down the line, offering random stuff, including guacamole which is objectively a lot more expensive than rice or corn. I repeated myself again, "no thanks I'm picky I just want a little more corn." He's like "how about some lettuce?" I say sure, a little, and he throws a giant pile on top. For the third time, I said "can I please have more corn?" Finally he does it. We go to the register and he charges me fifty cents for it. I ended up with a half filled bowl that cost 12 bucks. Okay. No tip and we will never come back. I hope it was worth fifty cents. Seems like a repeat customer would be better? Terrible experience. What a weirdo. You can't even call him cheap because logically this behavior doesn't make sense considering how much they saved on me NOT getting a bunch of other things. read more

Bajio is good. The decor inside is beautiful and the solid wood tables are comfy to sit at. I've never had bad food here, from burritos to tacos, there's a good size menu with plenty of options. Salsas are good, meats are good, tortillas, etc. They have a much more authentic taste compared to chipotle which I personally appreciate when looking for the same kind of menu items. read more

Workers are always mad for no reason and rude. Seems like they hate their jobs and always give us attitude and SUPER stingy with portions/toppings. We ask them for lettuce & they give you literally 3 pieces & get mad when u ask kindly for a little more. We always treat them with respect with please/thank you on everything, they don't care. We have been going here for years and sadly our friends have been saying the same experience for them declining service. We stopped going anymore. read more

Their front door is tricky to get too because it's in the home depot parking lot, but other than that things go great here. Some times, we will have to order tacos or something simple here 2-4x a month, and we never complain -but- if it's delivery: it will be cold or made wrong and if/when we go in person (since I'm from California), we expect to get authentic treatment as if we are Hispanic, get conversation and see an interest in us and what we are doing. watch our tortillas get cooked correctly, small little authentic additions that make the food taste well and just the right proper portions and instead we got grumpy faces, low effort and challenges with getting food made well or even with a partial smile. We never received like great food or treatment but -TONIGHT-something was unique and we wanted to say how wonderfully tasty it was and let that chef know. Hey chef! this afternoon, you make some reeaaalllly amazing tacos and while I usually like traditionally cooked corn tortilla street tacos, these fried tacos that you made were really creative and really tasty! Thanks for the best portions and a good eating experience. They say they charge $7.35 for a kids meal including a drink. When I got to the pay station, they asked which drink we wanted "fountain, milk or an Izze" they proceeded to charge us an additional $5.50 for the Izze's they offered as an option. If your sign says DRINK INCLUDED in price of $7.35, don't offer $5.50 drinks on top without mentioning additional charges. The salad was pretty good but the deception on price was not. I recently saw them on Facebook so I finally tried them. I got shrimp tacos with flour tortillas (you get corn but I changed it.) whatever they make their spicy ranch with is fricken bomb! It's not "hot" burn your mouth- just adds enough! This was a in place order & Covid-19 rules are up. They were busy as we got there. Overall the taste of my tacos were great. If I could go back or not- I would go back lol and probably get the same thing! Without cheese. Between the guacamole/ spicy ranch you don't have to dress the tacos up. Great food and great prices, they are open for all 3 meals of the day we used to mainly pop in for the $5 breakfast burritos but being that they are one of the few restaurants open for sit down we have been frequenting them for lunch and dinner also, they have daily lunch specials and fountain drinks available. Another failure. I really like the food but they never get it right, ordered a veggie burrito with a side salad and chips and salsa. No sour cream or guacamole... I just don't think they care. They have it set up in a similar fashion to a sandwich shop, how they add to your order. We sat down and I could hardly take a picture before everything was halfway gone! I am kind of torn about this place. The food has been both good and mediocre to me on my numerous visits, but never bad. They have gotten my order wrong a couple of times, but did step up and fix the situation right away. My main issue was always that i despise onions, but loved sour cream. However I was never able to get sour cream with my menu items because they mix onions in the sour cream on site at the start of each day. Sometimes they would go and get some sour cream without onions for me but usually tell me no they couldn't. I got it, it is what you do but knowing not everyone likes it that way perhaps have both options. The food is freshly made right in front of you so you know it has not been sitting around getting cold. The ingredients do appear and taste as fresh as possible as well, another good thing you would expect in a restaurant. My issues stem from the no onions yet sometimes they are cooked in my food anyway and they do have a couple of staff members you can tell do not want to be there by watching them interact with the other team members or customers, otherwise the place is pretty damn good. read more

This place was convenient for me for lunch, as I was in the Clackamas area for work. I thought, "Hey, I'll try something new!" It was fairly slow for 12:30 pm and I didn't wait long to have my order taken. The guy who took my order was great. I ordered a veggie burrito however, I'm not a vegetarian. I got it because the menu said it came "smothered in enchilada sauce" at no extra charge. It's kind of like Chipotle the way they pass your food along and you decide what you want and don't want. Then I was passed of to a woman who clearly hates her job here. It was obvious at that point this WAS NOT Chipotle. I asked for extra sour cream and she barked back that it's extra. Again, not Chipotle. Lol At the end I asked if I could have it smothered and she barked again that it would be extra. Before I could even acknowledge her, she smothered it with queso sauce. When I asked if I could have it smothered with enchilada sauce, the way it is stated on their menu, she argued with me saying I had to pay extra for the queso because I asked for it to be smothered. She denied the menu said anything about enchilada sauce over and over and insisted I pay for what I ordered. Like, wtf? I was kind of in shock that this was happening so I just smiled at here while I thought of something more polite to say than what I was thinking. She smiled back while frowning which was creepy but also impressive. I walked over to the menu and read it aloud so we could communicate more clearly. She reluctantly dumped the inside of my burrito into a new tortilla and gave me my burrito smothered in enchilada sauce. The only reason I even ate it at all after that was because I could clearly see her making my food. It got real. The burrito was okay. The enchilada was terrible... after all that. Customer service was a nightmare and if I'm in the area again, I won't be back. I'll just find a Chipotle so I can get extra sour cream for free and a normal interaction. read more

This was not my first choice, but I was getting oral surgery and knew I couldn't eat anything crunchy for quite a while so I felt I just had to have nachos. My first choice is now out of our delivery area so figured they were really close and it's been a while since I've eaten here. To start I ordered the nachos that are supposed to come with sour cream and pico, but they did not. Who wants nachos without all the toppings? My partner insisted on going to the nearest mart otherwise he knew I wouldn't want to eat them, but having to wait to eat nachos is never a good thing, unless you like them soggy. Either way they were very sub par. I went ahead and decided to put the Mexican rice on them, but that was a mistake. Rice doesn't really belong on nachos, but they just overloaded them with it. It was way too much, which makes it way more messy than it needs to be. We also got tacos that arrived very soggy and you couldn't hardly pick them up. They just covered them with lettuce too and forgot the dressing on the side salad. The other item we ordered was a loaded quesadilla, which was also extremely messy and soggy, but tasted really good. I like how they called me "Amiga" multiple times. Yes, as soon as you hand me my burrito we'll be the best of friends. Every day they have a different $6 special, and all of them seem worth a try. Their food is fresh and made to order, so it might take a bit longer than fast food Mexican places. Various meat selections, beans, rice, salsas and various ways to turn them into something yummy. I expected fast food quality for a slightly higher price, but this is actually restaurant quality food for a very reasonable price. Chipotle won't be seeing my face for a while. This restaurant has been close to my house for years but I've never been interested in trying it out. I was in a rush to grab some food with my parents before I had to be somewhere, and my mother had a coupon so is figured id try it out. Bajio Grill is set up like Qdoba or Chipotle where the food is made on a belt line, but I was rather impressed with their options. Instead of offering brown or white rice, they fill their food options with 2 hefty scoops of either Mexican or sweet rice. They don't skimp you here, which I have been skimped at both qdoba and chipotle before (I do love these places, but have been upset with the half-ass scoop of rice, beans or meat I get every once in a while). Instead of black or pinto beans, the options here are refried, black, or a spicy pinto. I went with their Sunday special, which was a burrito a la carte. They have a lot of sauce options, and made my burrito enchilada style topped with sauce, lettuce, and cheese (photo posted). With a medium drink and for $6.50, this was an awesome deal.
