The service is excellent and the employees are very friendly. My one complaint still stands. They make you now buy bottles of water instead of just giving you a glass of tap water. I think that's very unfair because people who eat here sometimes have to save a little bit of money. So sometimes they don't buy drinks because drinks could add 30% or more to your bill. This is the only place I know where they won't give you a glass of tap water because they want to make money off of everything. That aside I love the food here and will obviously continue to eat here but I won't buy drinks here for that specific reason. To me it takes away from the Integrity of a restaurant that will not offer tap water but make you buy bottled water. If I buy a bottle of their tap water for a buck 50 I can go next door to perrine's and buy a whole case for four bucks.

We liked the atom bombs which are kind of like a jalapeño popper flauta as a starter. I got their tacos which I enjoyed, even more so because they're hard shells and it's not that easy finding places that do that outside of Taco Bell. The one saving feature of the taco were the pickled onions. Now those were done well. As for the rest of the meal, the portions were small which was ok since I didn't like the rice or the beans. Again, not a lot of good flavors. No real seasoning to the rice which was dry, and the beans were lackluster. I've had Tijuana Flats before from a different location and was sorely disappointed by this one.

The chimichanga itself wasn't bad, but the rice and beans were terrible. I could swear the black beans the chimichanga came with was straight out of a can. Their sauces and salsa were mediocre, as well. The service was friendly and they had a few outside tables to enjoy your meal. All in all, not a bad meal. However, it was nothing spectacular, either.
