I'm not new to firearms but new to ownership. Perry is knowledgeable, personable enough, and straight forward. If you're expecting to be treated like you're buying a wedding dress then perhaps gun shops generally aren't for you. Know basic firearms laws around purchasing, pick up, and transport, know what you want to buy, and then go buy it. There's a large selection of firearms and ammo on hand. If the shop doesn't have what you're looking for he'll order it for you at minimal charge. I received calls when my orders were in, paperwork was quick and straight forward, and pick up was easy.

Yes it can get busy but there are actually a lot to look at so hopefully you won't get bored while waiting. Everyone I met there has been friendly and helpful. The place is bigger than expected as it has two rooms and there are a lot of consignment in addition to new guns. Yes the price can be all over the place but you can always offer your price for the consignment. Overall one of the best places for supporting your local gun store. Stopped in for the first time earlier today on the recommendation of another well-respected local…read moregun shop for where to sell used firearms. They do cash trade-ins day-of-sale unlike most gun shops in the area that only do consignment. They take the time to properly appraise what you bring in, make sure it's legal for sale in California and make sure all the required paperwork is filled out properly. Their prices are generally fair market value from what I've seen considering it's a cash-day-of trade-in. You'll be waiting for maybe an hour at most here to get paid for selling your stuff instead of the weeks that you would with a consignment sale or what passes for a private-party transaction in CA. Could you potentially get more selling privately or putting your stuff on consignment and waiting for it to move instead? Maybe, but their way of doing things avoids a lot of the multiple trips and waiting time that comes with doing either of those other two options instead in California. I would definitely recommend coming here if you have guns you need to sell urgently or if you would just rather not deal with selling on consignment or arranging a private-party sale yourself.
