Just want to thank the great folks at Tony's Jewelry for their friendly and great service today. I've been in need of some watch repair for quite some time. Haven't been able to find anyone on the Monterey Peninsula to do any basic battery replacements at a reasonable cost until connecting with the staff at Tony's. I gave them a call, and spoke with the owners daughter who was extremely polite during the call, and assured me that they could take care of my request. I arranged to come in a couple of days later to have them replace a number of batteries, and service 9 Watches. When I arrived at the shop, I was greeted by the staff, and I connect it with Ricky who assured me that they would go through, and take care of the necessary repairs, and battery replacements needed. I have to say that I was extremely pleased with the level of service, and how quickly, and thorough they got through the repairs. Also from a cost standpoint, I think it was extremely reasonable the overall charges for the repairs. I stopped in for a quick repair, and the gentleman who helped me could not have been more kind and helpful. I was acknowledged immediately, but not in a pushy way. I was admittedly casually dressed because of the weather, and because I was running errands all day. Usually, I get ignored by upscale stores when dressed casually, but there was no judgment of me, only friendly helpfulness. That was a great start. The gentleman who was helping me with a repair then went on to be very honest about the piece I had brought with me, and, again, offered a fair solution to the problem presented by the needed repair. He concluded by offering a significant price break, due to the circumstances, but the quality of the repair was excellent.
