Eating tacos in Honolulu is much better because of the weather. Even though it's January, we have wonderful 70°F temperature at 8pm! ********** Located at Howzit Brewery, Taco Invader is currently open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, and select Fridays. I got the Adobada (marinated pork) on a 6 inch corn tortilla which was stuffed! I especially liked the grilled, smokey flavor and pickled veggie topping! Super delicious! I also got a watermelon agua fresca because the horchata was sold out. Another item that was sold out was the vegan chorizo Taco made from mushrooms! I'll have to return for it and also get the carne asada and chicken tacos next time! Note: there's indoor, open-air seating as well as outdoor picnic table style seats. I started out at the picnic tables, but it was too dark to take photos. I moved indoors, but it was crowded and noisy at first. Later, some people left and I got a seat by the entrance. It was a bit warm, so I sat near the fan. Service is very friendly and helpful! When my order was taken, I was asked my name so that they could call out when my orderwas ready. I said, "Hello Kitty". That all changed when i tried Guaiqueri maybe a month or two after my mouth healed. Their empanada's weren't oily and hard (even if you air fry it later if you even end up with extras). They are mostly pop up and you'll have to check their instagram for their schedule. Most of the time they are at some kind of farmers market somewhere. Their empanada's start at about $8 and don't forget the sauce! my favorite is the beef and it's always sold out before i get to it. LOL. Tip is to go early and order if you can. Empanadas were yummy! 4 minutes to fry so wait was quick. The dough/crust was tasty, but a bit greasy. Fillings were also tasty. Shredded chicken had great flavor. Seafood consisted of chopped up large pieces of octopus, shrimp, and calamari. What's even better was they were surprisingly still good when microwaved the next day (was too lazy to heat it properly). Definitely dip with lots of sauce! Unfortunately the tres leches was just ok - cake with frosting. Will definitely be back for the chicken and seafood empanadas!

We followed them on Twitter. 2. I also knew that they also had a tent / area at Honolulu Farmer's Market. Did I regret it? No way, José! Especially when I ate their Taco Duros (see pictures). It didn't matter to me if the price was kinda steep for two tacos... it was worth it. The crunchy shell and taco fillings were delicious and crisp to where if you weren't thinking straight...you'd be digging into your pocket for another $8 to pay for two tacos At the Second Eat the Street, again I veered to their tent again and ordered the tacos. YUMMMMAYYYY Third Eat the Street...I had to regretfully and sadly walk away from them because I wanted to try the other food trucks that was there. But, I do know that should I ever venture to Honolulu Farmer's Market, they will be one of the vendors that I will be standing there, waiting to order those tacos that screams to me everytime I am near that tent.

She's also from Argentina originally, so they were the same type. The prices are the same, but they did adjust the discount structure a little. They used to offer either a discount, or a free empanada when ordering a certain quantity, but apparently no longer (understandable). They also used to provide a free serving of their amazing chimichurri with a quantity order as well, but either they forgot, or they discontinued that practice as well; and unfortunately, I forgot to check my box and order one before I left. They seem to be doing well, because several items were sold out, but they do have a wide variety, and there are enough choices to satisfy any tastes. I really must remember to come more often.
