Mr. Bolduc showed up on time for the appointment, listened to our needs, and gave us the quote before he left. The office staff did a great job of keeping us informed of when they would be here to do the work. The work crew showed up on time and were friendly and extremely efficient. They spoke with us to confirm what we wanted before starting and made short work of getting set up and moving things out of the way. They even chipped a pile of branches we had collected. :-) We had two large maple trees trimmed back and three trees removed. For the trees they trimmed, they examined each branch before removing it and were very careful about only removing dead/dying branches. Chipping everything as they went. The trimmed trees look great! The trees they took down were in very tight spaces. They were very careful to not damage anything. Our 30-40 foot tall, 80+ year old, mostly dead maple came down in about 45 minutes. Never even came close to our shed that was about 4 feet away from the base of the tree. They were kind enough to cut a slab from the stump for us to keep. They were very safety conscious. Hard hats, ear and eye protection, and the person cutting always made sure everyone was clear before starting the next cut. They were a pleasure to work with, left the yard cleaner than they found it and came in right on target with the quoted price. We would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely hire them again if we need tree work in the future.

Tried heavy trimming but to no avail. They had to come down. I had many solicitors over the past two years, offering a wide range of solutions with a wide range of costs. Unfortunately, I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I happened upon Maguire's Family Tree Service through a glance at Facebook community page, along with several other tree services. I contacted all of them and they all responded, but when Joe (Maguire) came out, he offered me many options with solid costs for each option. He was down to earth and I liked his presentation. He doesn't have some of the large 'toys' that others have, but he has grit, determination and a good eye for the job. I researched for reviews and couldn't find much, but I still hired his company. His office staff (Felicia, the missus) is extremely competent and efficient. When Joe and Tod finished the job of several tricky tree removals, the work area was clean and the quality of work was on time and exactly what I wanted. They did a wonderfully professional job. I wanted a competent, local, community-based company and I got this and a lot more than I hoped for. I have more trees in the future and upon rebuilding the coffer, they are my go-to tree service!

The installation went ok, and once problems were solved it was a decent service. But in the span of a couple of years the price almost tripled. In the last six months before we canceled, we had 3 increases of $5 each time, as if to fool you hoping you would not notice or think too much of $5. Worse than Comcast. Disgusting unethical company. I'll give a two star rating because its existence breaks the monopoly and forces Comcast to do better. And because the service works. But know they abuse their clients.

Horrid customer service. We have had Fidium for a few years. We started off with a problem off the…read morebat. Internet was installed incorrectly and we had to wait days for a tech to come back. Then after a year they raised our bill and had no more offering of a slightly cheaper plan which they did when we signed up. We went with a plan that was a bit more than we needed because we figure we could downgrade after a year since they had multiple tiers and the sign up bonus was a deal for slighter faster internet. After much strife they stated they'll give us a discount and it was never reflected on our bill. I had to call once a month to deal with the bill being wrong for about 6 months, we finally got it corrected permanently by a supervisor and now this year rolls around and we had to do this all over again! We also had a neighboring tenant get Fidium installed and we went out for a few hours and came home and our internet network was gone, the tech disconnected our internet for hours. We received horrible service with no help and had to go back and forth with the tech who as installing the neighbors line to get it fixed. I called to complain and get help and every single time I spoke I was interrupted and put on hold and spoken over. The tech showed back up to neighbors house coincidentally to finish theirs & we had to keep going back and forth with him to get him to fix our problem. Then I had to call and battle customer service for compensation since we not only had our time and day taken from us we were not going to pay for internet that we didn't get, they gave us a whipping $3.50 off. Rep also would not repeat things back in a way I could understand when I explained that I'm hearing impaired and kept just saying it over again. Every time I've tried to get a supervisor they keep me on hold for over 20 minutes and keeps saying they can't get in touch with the supervisor till you finally give up. We are basically forced into this company since xfinity is equally terrible and Verizon is not available in our area. AWFUL company with horrible customer service and irresponsible techs.
