Terrible experience had to pass inspection at the dmv so had my windshield replaced due to a crack, went and got it replaced just to find out my windshield wipers no longer worked. Went back and the guy swore up and down that they didn't do anything involving the windshield arms or cowl needless to say I went home and removed it myself only to find multiple bolts missing in the cowl and the connector to the wiper arm unplugged 0/10 Would not recommend go spend your money elsewhere this place is very unprofessional. My rear glass needed to be replaced on my 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. On two different occasions I called Delaware auto Glass and both times I was give a quote of $350 and 4 hours of work. I scheduled the appointment for an early morning drop off. About an hour after dropping off I get a phone call explaining that the price will now be $800 and take 2-3 days. I was then told that by who I can only assume is either the owner or the manager, that he did not want to do the job. scheduled to have my Honda truck rear window replaced. I was told approx 1 week for the rear glass to come in. when the part comes, they would call to schedule the repair. After a week and a half I followed-up. The lady on the phone had zero clue what was going on. She stated that they couldn't get the glass in. She sounded confused and was unhelpful. Needed my windshield replaced due to a crack caused by a stone and their price was quite competitive since they don't use factory parts. Plus there is no sales in DE. The repair job was done quite quickly and I was on my way in under an hour. The job was sufficient but one of my window wipers wasn't aligned properly and was slightly bent. I had to take it off and fiddle around with it for about 20 minutes to try to align it properly. Still doesn't fit as it did before the windshield was replaced but I didn't feel like buying a new windshield wiper either. I did save $20 dollars with a coupon by going to their shop vs. having them come out to replace the glass. Downside was having to drive all the way to south of Newark, DE (only do in-person repairs if you live in DE). Waiting area is very sparse with no bathroom, vending machines, or coffee. Just a bunch of largely uncomfortable chairs. No natural light either They did have free WiFi and it wasn't the absolute worst place to have to wait an hour. Can't walk to any other place to wait either. I'd consider going back here again but would have to weigh it against inconvenience of driving down here. Shortly after a front windshield replacement, noticed a weird hum at higher speeds. Two months after installation, there's now a six inch hairline crack. They said I must've scraped it too hard, which is impressive, since I only ever used a brush to sweep the snow off. Good - friendly staff and cheap prices. Bad - very poor work. Had a broken rear window on my car. They were super nice and the price was great. Had to call them out a second time due to window not going up or down two days later. Sucks to waste more time, but not a big deal. They came out and fixed but the next day I noticed a buzzing coming from the speaker and wobbly door panel. Didn't want to schedule a third time, so decided to open it up myself - saw the screws on speaker were not put back on at all. It was just floating there by one screw - no wonder it was buzzing! Worst yet, there was still broken glass inside the car door and he had bent most of the rubber nipples that keep the door fastened. Hence it being wobbly. Went ahead and bought the screws and nipples myself and fixed. Called and had a friendly guy apologise and indicate he wishes I would have given them chance to fix it instead of doing it myself. Problem is - they already had two chances to fix it. He offered to pay for the screws and nipples if I provided a receipt - which is a little insulting and really not enough to make the situation any better. read more
