Bought 2022 Jeep Wagoneer price was great bought all packages back in January close to closing hour before snow storm hit. Was dark out so didn't see the cosmetic damage on hood till next morning also while on way home had bad shake. Came in next evening pointed everything out (shaking, hood damage, 3rd row seat seam apart) to service manager took for test drive. Scheduled repair after snowstorm shaking and seat repaired was fixed told when weather warmed up hood would be done. Two in person visits two emails on website one to direct contact on hood repair still waiting 6 months to be repaired. Totally incompetent. $565. to change my oil and flush the cooling system on my Prius. Two and a half hours later, drove off the lot and didn't get five miles down the highway and the check engine light came on. Called them. Six attempts at phoning; someone must have had to go to the rest room. Drive in; Tell them. "Oh, we'll have to start a new ticket for that." I was just here I tell the manager. Go wait in the waiting room. Call my BIL. "They probably didn't get the air out of the line." "Oh, that makes sense." But that's a pretty basic thing, right? I've already purchased my fourth of four Toyotas at Jones Junction. My third of four was a RAV4, purchased at Price and I gave them a one-star review for the following reasons: The salesman lied about the lender. I prefer Toyota Financial Services and he confirmed they'd be who's financing my wife's RAV4, when setting up the insurance policy. It was in the finance office, while signing paperwork, that I discovered it was PSECU, without any explanation at all. On the way home from the dealership, the bluetooth cut out on the car. I didn't feel comfortable with the deal at all and called the salesman back the following Monday. He explained that Price doesn't take back cars; the deal was done when I signed the paperwork. When the store manager called to see what they'd have to do for me to withdraw my review, we agreed that they'd address the bluetooth concern and some of the body damage on the car. My wife took the car in for the body damage assessment and to make the appointment, where they left her sit for an hour and forty-five minutes, in clear view of the parking spot out by the service dept. No one had looked at the car at all. She complained, they said she was good to go and that someone would be in touch... they weren't. We made it back for the bluetooth concern and that's where it was left. I prepaid for three years of maintenance. When my wife took it in for her first service, they tried charging her $69 for the service and extra if she wanted a tire rotation and wipers. When she called me, I told the service rep she was with "if I have to come all the way to New Castle to sort this out, everyone I deal with is going to have a really bad day". They explained to my wife that "it was coded wrong" and they covered the service. Today, I was driven to resurrect my review. I was in New Castle and stopped by the parts dept to pick up transmission fluid for my 2020 Tacoma. The parts counter rep said he needed my VIN to look up the oil (despite there being only one automatic transmission in the third generation Tacoma) and had me go back out to my truck to get the VIN... then couldn't figure it out anyways and asked me if it had the tow package. I explained if the VIN doesn't tell him, I don't know how I'd know that. He sold me oil. I guess we're just both hoping it's right. In my opinion, given my personal experiences with this organization, I'm convinced the only reason they're still in business is because there's not another Toyota option locally. Price Toyota couldn't do a simple tire rotation... to the same vehicle i have taken there at least 3 times in the past year and half to have rotations done. Lug nut swelling, what ever that is... stopped a Toyota dealership dead in its tracks with no solution but to come back when i have new lug nuts. I bought the wheels in 2022. I personally went to the back and put the socket key on each lug nut, and while a few were tight... I really didn't see what the big deal was. Seemed like a sad, lazy excuse... went for a recall on a wire tree weeks ago, it is my wife's rav4 vehicle, so after 3 weeks I get back home and noticed the after putting the car in parking, the vehicle was not engaging the emergency brake automatically as it always did, so the transmission was the only thing holding the car from moving, and if on a hill it would stress the the transmission, gear making a big pop while shifting to drI've gear, so I took it back cause we do not service our own vehicle, being a newer car and also hybrid, the service agent right away told me that if I hold the parking button down for more than a few seconds it would turn off the emergency break, I told him we did not push any buttons or held down longer than we should, he said he wasn't accusing us of doing so, so my thought why even bring it up, his mechanic should have verified if it worked before turning it over to us while Doing service to that section of the vehicle, he also wanted me to know how to fix the issue my self so he divulged the process, my thought is why would I try to fix my own car when I don't even change my own oil or even service my own car, plus why try and decifer what they undid, and take a chance to mess up the car, reason I take my car to get fixed is cause I don't want to mess with it, not good when a service advisor tells you you should fix your own car, specially when they messed it up themselves......usually I have no issue at this dealer but when I get answers to my service that don't make sense then I just get dissapointed .....they need to review on following their workmanship protocols when returning vehicles back to the owners, systems check list .....I know Toyota does have such a thing. Probably rubber stamping their work orders, not paying attention, this dealership needs better quality control systems to ensure vehicles leave the facility as a completed repair and not half done....one thing for sure is that they didn't seem to believe it is an issue that vehicles leave the facility with incomplete process done. I probably won't buy another car from Price, but definitely not from salesman Oscar. After asking 3 times what the bottom line of pricing would be, he never told me, and kept saying the "finance guy" would give me full info. By the time I got the the finance guy, the car was washed and had temp tag on it. I was surprised by the mandatory $695 add on for processing tags. This wasn't for my registration or MV tax, the was for the dealership. I bought my new "24 RAV 4 from Heritage in Baltimore, No BS like at Price. If you go here for a car, make sure you specifically ask price for "processing" paperwork. Besides that, they won't let you take care of the tagging yourself by giving you the paperwork, and you going to DMV. read more

This place is good for buying cars. Oscar's the best! However, do not have service done to your car. Something will come up missing. First, they took my cool skull tire caps. They didn't think I would notice. It's too late to say anything once I did notice because life happens. They didn't do anything. Then, they had the nerve to steal my oil cap gasket. Had to buy a whole 'nother oil cap. Luckily, it didn't put my sweet husband out too much. But, there are principalities to things. Do not steal from your customers! Our experience was not a great but at the end of the day it got taken care of. We bought a lemon and ended up getting refunded the cost of the car minus taxes and tags. Niel was good to work with good experience there. Travis the sales manager said "I have zero empathy that you had to drive an hour to get here" after I had driven back and forth numerous times because of dealership incompetence. " I think I have to apologize for everyone dropping the ball". He gave us a refund on our car but the process was tough. My main gripe is poor communication across the board. Have started taking my vehicle here after moving to Wilmington. The building is clean and the reception staff is friendly. Unfortunately, they aren't customer focused. They do everything they can to avoid having to give you an Uber or Lyft when you drop your car off. They recommend unnecessary repairs. They don't always call back to review the covered inspections. On July 11 I had a crazy day, I had to be to at a closing and I had a flat tire, luckily I have roadside assistance and the tire was replaced quickly. The next day I took the car to Price Toyota without an appointment and Dacia was a lifesaver! I was on my way out of town that same day. Basically I was hoping they would just reset the sensors because it looked on the screen like I was driving on three wheels since the spare was in place; but Price Toyota went a step beyond my request - they actually found out what happened to my original tire and deemed it unrepairable and because I had the tire warranty from Price Toyota it was immediately replaced with a new tire and all of my sensors were reset and we were able to leave early enough to make my all of appointments out of town; And we had a working spare back underneath the car. Also the best part is everything was covered under the warranty so there was not a charge for that day thank you Dacia; and the supporting team at Price Toyota. read more

I have been a customer of Price Toyota for years. Unfortunately for me, my recent experience with this dealership has been terrible. I bought a top-of-the-line Prius in January which I had been waiting for months. After I paid cash, I was totally dropped by the salesperson. I did not receive a second key which I should have when I bought the car and have had a very bad experience in fighting to get it, they playing the blame game. Also, my sticker came in February and I just got it in June.--The excuse was that they tried to call but hardly, as my old phone number was used and no one tried to reach me after one phone call. I think I will buy my next car elsewhere. After having bought most all my Toyotas at this dealership, I am extremely disappointed in the way I was treated this time. read more
