I had an unpleasant experience with this company. I ordered cabinets for a kitchen remodeling…read moreproject. They were very helpful and cordial during the process. I stopped by several times to gather information on a kitchen sink. I was seeking difference between granite and stainless steel and different mounting styles. Had a number of discussions where I expressed my preferences and reasons why. Subsequently ordered sink recommended by Mr. Holcomb that I was told could be installed with a "negative reveal". This was a must for me and he was well aware of that. Product recommended could not do the job but was installed anyway. When I informed Holcomb that I would not accept the incorrect product, I was initially complimented on my demeanor and willingness to cooperate. I was told he would find a replacement and would check for it over the weekend. When I called on Tuesday afternoon to get a status and ask for additional information, Mr. Holcomb suddenly became belligerent, uncooperative, and very abrasive. He accused me of harassing him. Because I had to buy additional granite, have it recut and buy another sink that could be installed with "negative reveal" additional expense was incurred. This delayed the project impacting the additional contractors and they had to move on to other projects. They then had to find additional time to finish my project after the installation of granite. Mr. Holcomb refused to accept any responsibility and said "I did not touch your granite" indicating that it was the granite company's fault. He would not reimburse me for the sink that he incorrectly recommended and could not be installed with a "negative reveal" because it had a ledge across the top nor for any of the cost of new granite installation. Mr. Holcomb's policy is to collect full payment upon ordering. He actually asked me for the balance of granite installation the day it was installed. I would highly recommend withholding some of the costs until job is completed satisfactorily, getting every little detail in writing and date stamped. I would not do business with this company in the future nor would I recommend them.
