I was scared to get my nails done because of the virus but I felt comfortable going to her. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

I came in for an acrylic fill and pedicure and showed a reference photo of the cat eye nails I wanted. The owner immediately told me they couldn't do cat eye, so I agreed to switch to chrome instead. When the chrome was applied, it wasn't visible at all. I mentioned that I didn't want to pay extra for chrome since there was no noticeable effect. At that point, my nail technician told me they actually could do cat eye and brought over another technician to do it. Unfortunately, the finished nails looked nothing like the inspiration photo, but I accepted that and was ready to move on. The problem came at checkout. I was charged an additional fee for both gel and cat eye. I politely asked the owner to remove the cat eye charge because of the confusion and because the final result wasn't what I requested. Rather than taking any accountability for the miscommunication, he argued with me, talked over me, and insisted I pay the full amount. I've overlooked imperfect nails in the past because everyone makes mistakes. What I can't overlook is poor customer service and refusing to take responsibility for a situation the owner created. After years of being a loyal customer, I expected much better. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated--not because of the nails--I won't be returning.

They have every option of nails and designs you could think of and I loved that I got my mani and pedi done at the same time. I hate sitting for 2 hours to do each separately. The receptionist, Ceecee (I believe her name is), called to inform me that I had left my shoes. I returned to the store on July 29th to pick up my sneakers. Alex told me he didn't know where they were. Alex mentioned that the cleaning crew must have stored them elsewhere. I left my phone number with Alex so he could call me once he found my sneakers. Alex didn't call for several days. When I called the nail salon, Alex was too busy to speak with me on the phone. How long does it take to find a pair of tennis shoes and socks? Some kind of follow-up would be nice to a customer who has spent money in your establishment for years.
