She started doing my nails and I told her I didn't like how short she was cutting them so she got an attitude and said "I'm not doing your nails anymore". I've never been to a salon that refused to do my nails because I told them I didn't like the way she was doing them. Great nail salon! My daughter and I have gone in to this salon off and on for years and have always been treated well. Even when they have been busy and we've shown up a without an appointment- we've been asked to wait or to come back. Emily is honest and respectful to customers - in fact all of the nail technicians are. Emily's candidness is important in this day and age of people just saying what they think you want to hear. not even 2 weeks later multiple broken nails because they skimped with the amount of nexgen coats. lifting on a few, because they don't properly file or trim cuticle at the time of service. im sure they could do a better job, but they will probably raise the price without telling you. its seriously an old dated salon, with an end coming sooner than later. i first came here years ago in my teens and now that i'm approaching 30, i don't think its ever been updated. same old chairs, same popcorn ceiling, same peeling wall paper. they have a sign on a wall that says the best form of flattery is referring a friend.... lol to all my friends and enemies DON'T GO HERE read more

Very disappointed in the service I received at Eva Nails from Emily. I have been loyal to this shop for 3 years. Emily expects loyalty from you but when she makes your nails bumpy or if the nails are not sealed she will not give your money back. She will get an attitude and tell you over and over that it's not her fault. Even though she did the service. I literally had a space in between my nail and the fake nail. Food was getting stuck in the gap and it wouldn't wash out. 2 years ago I got a green fungus from this shop and I should have never got my nails done again. She also refuses to do long nails because in her words "your people normally like long nails but that's not for you" while pointing to my skin color. I was extremely offended. Don't go here for your nails. They don't have the talent for anything beyond a pedicure. And Emily is rude and insensitive. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Diva Nails is owned by Giang Le and he owns EVA NAILS according to the City of Carrollton Permits Office. I, Sharon Andrews, was astonished at the bitter attitudes presented to me after I spent $148.00 for my daughter and I to have Acrylic nails put on our fingers and pedicures, my nails crumbled on my fingers. I have a bruise line on my right thumb. Emily did not tell me how to care for the discolored line. Another nail technician from another salon had to point his out and tell me how to care for the bruised nail. Emily was very unprofessional and sour about my refund. She and an old lady were angry and insisted that my nails had to be soaked off for one hour in a removal product before I could get my money back. My real nails were severely damaged by the chemicals and drills they used to get the gel and acrylic off. My cuticles were bruised. I was given $35.00 back and no conversation was made with me while I was getting my false nails removed. I was isolated on the far end of the salon as well. DO NOT GO THERE. They are phony and they only want your money. They do not care about the health of your fingers or your nails. read more

I've been to many nail salons, both in Dallas and Houston. This place is BY FAR the best!! Their prices are lower than the competition and - more importantly - the quality of service is much better. I've had pedicures last over 3 weeks without chipping. I was going to another (closer) salon for gel manicures and was talked into NexGen. Went into Eva Nails complaining about the state of my manicure and nails, and they told me that NexGen is too tough on thin nails like mine. The ladies proceeded to do a shellac manicure on my ultra-thin nails without discomfort in record time. Not only that, my shellac manicures last an average of three weeks. Pedicures - the 'regular' pedi includes both hot wax and a 10-minute massage. I've NEVER encountered that anywhere else without having to pay major $$. Add to that the lack of wait time, complimentary snacks and beverages, relaxing atmosphere and I will NEVER go anywhere else! Oh, and make sure to ask for a punch card. After six services at regular price, you get the seventh for $5 off. A major deal considering that the 'basic' pedicure is only $25. read more

Love coming here. The people are nice and it's always clean. They have the plastic inserts for their pedicure chairs, which is important to me because I've seen some places turn people with only a spray of Lysol (ew!). I have been here several times and even brought my boyfriend in for pedicures. I love it here. The place is small and cozy and CLEAN! It does not have the overpowering chemical smell that many salons have. This place is quaint and relaxing. It is quiet and peaceful. The ladies here are all nice and FUNNY! I loved this place! I was unhappy with my previous nail salon so after calling Eva Nails to get a price on a gel manicure (which was $3 less than my previous place) I decided to give them a try. I like this place better than the last year lace I was going but they are a bit confusing. I got dip powder nail, or Nexgen as I found them to be called. I was told each time I got them done they needed to be completely soaked off. I got to the salon and told them I needed a dip powder fill and Emily tells me, they don't fill them. I remembered then and said that's fine. I'm pretty plain so I asked for the same color and she said they didn't have soak them off if I got the same color. I asked how much it was to fill them and she said it's not a fill since she had to file them all the way down. Again, confused. I feel like I would rather had them soaked all the way off, since she charged me the same $35 that it was to get them brand new. I guess they're ok... the color took a bit darker than the fresh set. I'd suggest to act like you're picking a new color until they soak them off and get what you want. They're still very pretty but I feel like $35 is way too much for a "not so fill in" fill in. read more

Nice customer service but dip set is very very very thin. You are able to see through the dip set although the color I chose was dark blue. I've only had them for a week and one nail has already chipped while turning off a fan. They also do not offer gel polishes for pedicures and seemed confused as to how to remove the gel polish from the toes. They used regular nail polish for my toes and they too are chipping after a week. Also I paid 80 for a basic pedicure and dip set (no nail tips/ no designs). I usually pay about 50 for simple nails and they last a month or longer. 1st and last time visiting but again the customer service itself was okay and they offer snacks. I just don't like the way the nails are done. Also there is a $30 fee to remove gel polish which is a free service at almost any other salon. I don't mind paying good money for my nails but I paid 80.00 for less than mediocre nails. Oh and they also kept interrupting my massage chair because they wanted to rush and insisted on doing my nails and toes at the same time.
