Another good visit to a local mom and pop place, Seems like they do get to know you here and even can anticipate your order if you come here frequently. The owner comes out to greet you as well which is a big bonus to show that he still cares about the business which is great. We typically all get a mix of seafood tacos and tostada bowls. The food is definitely brought to the table pretty quickly post order. Plenty of chips and salsa as well as refill on your drinks.. We went for dinner yesterday and the food was great. I ordered a bean tostada. The food covered the entire tostada underneath. While there wasn't much taste in the bean (expected), it had lots of lettuce, cheese, sour creme and guacamole. My friend ordered shrimp fajita and he said it tasted very good. Another friend had the talipia fish and was surprised so many pieces of fish. Our waitress was quick to wait on us and she offered to help us fill our take home tray. Today my husband and I went to this restaurant for breakfast. We weren't familiar with the area and just happened on it. It is in a strip mall next to a laundromat. Don't let the outside fool you. When we walked in it was very clean and the staff was welcoming. The omelet we ordered to share was delicious and came with beans and fried potatoes. Everything homemade. The gentleman who served us was very accommodating and brought our shared omelet on 2 separate plates without us asking which we thought was nice. The restaurant is located between a small market and laundromat. Parking was relatively easy to find since we arrived right after the lunch rush. The outside of the restaurant looks unassuming; however, when entering you are warmly greeted and advised to feel free to choose your own table. When sitting down, chips and salsa are placed right in front of us. The chips are freshly made and it pairs well with the red salsa. The salsa is mild with a slight kick. Looking around while sipping our drinks and eating the chips and salsa, we noticed the decorations. We found out that the decorations were given by people who came by for a meal. It shows how much this place is loved by the people who come by for a warm meal. We ordered #1 Huevos Rancheros, Carne Asada plate, #6 Enchilada and Taco with shredded beef. Due to intolerance to dairy and gluten, #6 was ordered with corn tortilla and no cheese which they were really accommodating. The prices were extremely reasonable. The food was so delicious that we ordered another plate to go. And days after, I'm still thinking of the beans, chips, salsa, and what to order the next time we come by. read more

Ordered a Carnitas Plate in restaurant and service was quick, but not quality. Carnitas looked fully cooked, but they weren't warm. Beans and rice were cold too! Everything was just reheated in the microwave. How can I tell if the food was fresh? No replacement of food or refund was offered either. Cute little restaurant I've had on my list to check out since last year when we moved here. Recently we have been on the hunt for the best Chile relleno and I think I've found it! Clean restaurant and we were greeted by who I'm assuming was the owner right away. He was very friendly and gave us fresh made chips and salsa. The salsa was yummy. Our families favorite restaurant in town. We have had many family birthday dinners here, and also have had them cater some events. All of the food here is delicious, and Hector and everyone there is always so inviting and wonderful. It's like visiting our old friends when we go. Service is always great, we never wait long even with big groups. The restaurant has a very nice feeling of being at home, eating in your own kitchen. I ordered chorizo con huevos, papas and beans...deeeelicious! Seriously tasted like the breakfasts my grandmother used to prepare for me. I saved half to take home so my sister could try it and feel/taste the nostalgia. I ordered one ground beef taco on the recommendation of a fellow customer, it did not disappoint.
