My mom and I went to this place while we were Hemet because it looked really good from other Yelp reviews. The chips and salsa were ok, it was definitely more of a tomato like soupy salsa and not a chunky salsa so it depends on what you like. I'd prefer a different salsa but it's ok because I still ate way too much of it! My mom and I got the steak and shrimp fajitas one with flour tortillas and one with corn tortillas. The fajitas came out sizzling hot but the rice and beans were lukewarm warm. They also forgot our shrimp portion of the fajitas so we asked and she said she didn't hear us but out the order in. What we got was shrimp scampi shrimp and not fire grilled shrimp which does not go with the flavors of the fajitas. I'd rather wait longer to get what I wanted than a fix quick that doesn't work with the meal. The waitress was super kind though and I want to make that known. read more

A few days ago when my friend and I visited the place was literally packed and the Bar seating was Empty, so we seated ourselves at the bar and ordered our drinks and Dinner choices. Dined here for the 1st time to celebrate with family. What a beautiful, and festive restaurant! Came highly recommended for the delicious margaritas and for the large food portions. We like this place due to ample seating. The menu is overwhelming in amazing combinations. The servings sizes are so large we tend to take food home 50% of the time. Usually due to our excessive consumption of chips n salsa. The service is quick and friendly. Our drinks are kept full. We keep coming back to this place to eat and we will come back again n again. Someday we will have tried all the items on the menu. On the other hand, I'm still waiting for the lighting within the restaurant to be a little brighter as we are still using or cellphone lights to see the menu. read more

I came here with my parents and as soon as I was seated, the waiter didn't look too friendly. I have a shrimp allergy and by looking at the menu, I didn't feel comfortable ordering for myself. Chips and salsa were brought out and I asked if the chips were fried in the same oil and she said, yes, everything is fried in the same oil. She also said that they weren't going to use a different oil. Her comment was not what I wanted to hear. My parents said the chips were unsalted and the salsa was not good at all. She proceeded to take their drink order. I didn't feel comfortable to dine there so we made the decision to leave. When the waitress came over, I told her that I didn't feel comfortable eating because of the allergy and that I would pay for the drinks and she said no. I would have liked for her to say, don't worry, I will make sure that your food doesn't come in contact with shrimp. I got up and left. Never again!! The margarita was just fine and so was my white wine but the food oh my gosh, if this is what you say as good Mexican food then you don't know good Mexican food. False advertising - The chili relleno was filled 95% with mashed potatoes and 5% cheese. Yes, in small print it discloses the relleno includes potatoes, but no indication that their chili relleno had next to zero cheese. The menu description should clearly indicate that it's a potato chili relleno. Sure you can put chicken, beef, shrimp or even veggies in rellenos, but identify as such. By adding the main ingredient to the beginning of the description would be a more honest representation of what is being ordered. Simply calling it chili relleno is deceptive advertising considering the vast majority of people assume cheese is the favored ingredient in chili rellenos. read more

Went here yesterday with my wife and child. The food was very tasty and the portion sizes were generous. My wife was not able to finish her burrito. I had the chili relleno which I normally avoid because they never stuff it with enough cheese, this time it was more than stuffed and I was quite happy with it. My 2 year old was able to finish all his food which is always a good sign. The place is nice and clean and choosing a booth is the right option, if you choose a table you're stuck in the middle of the restaurant and have no privacy. This visit though, the service really missed the mark. It wasn't that fried and the meat was super oily. It came with sides of rice and beans. The rice had vegetables in it which didn't say so in the description. The beans were probably the best thing.
