Goat biryani AMAZING and massive portion size
    Randy C.

This place is AMAZING! Located in a strip mall so parking is pretty easy. Thai is my go to place in the area for Indian food. We don't live in the area which is sad because I crave Cafe India. I have not found a single place that comes close to the taste of the food here. The portion sizes are massive and easy shareable dishes. Everything I've ever had here has been amazing but if I had to pick one thing to try it would be the goat biryani!

Curry chicken, shrimp & garlic naan

This is a nice little quiet spot in a strip mall. The menu is extensive, offering some fusion style recipes. We ordered chicken curry, a shrimp/spinach dish, and garlic naan. Everything was delish, and the service was great. They even offer a buffet, but it wasn't up at the time we visited on a Sunday. Overall, great experience, great food.

l've been going here for a couple of years now and they haven't missed once. Every time I come back to town this is the first food spot I hit and they never disappoint. The Cafe India special is always my go to and the amount of food you get is crazy; the Garlic naan is amazing, the chicken tiki masala is juicy, the curry is perfect, and the korma is delicious. My servers name was Rose and she was awesome and recommended beers for me.

My daughter and I had a lovely lunch at Cafe India the other day. I am cautious these days, and the Cafe's efforts to reduce risks was clearly evident. Tables were spaced and our server was masked. Everything sparkled it was so clean. Lunch was fantastic! We started with the Aloo Tikki Chaat which was very yummy. I never can decide what to order, so because dining Stan Indian restaurant is always a special treat I ordered two entrees. Hey - leftovers are delicious! My order was the Chicken Rogan Josh to try something new and Chicken Korma to get one of my favorite Indian dishes. My daughter got her favorite - Chicken Tikka Masala, and we sampled each other's treats. All were delicious and perfectly spiced. Dessert (you bet we ordered dessert) was Pistachio Kulfi. Yes, we were stuffed and had enough for a second lunch the next day. There was only one server, but I didn't mind. That's fewer people and more distancing and the restaurant is a smallish space. But be sure to take that into consideration when dining in as you might have a bit longer wait. But even so, things were pretty quick. I would love to return when their buffet is reopened. Really good food and worth the trip for us.

The best Indian food in the area by a mile. Never had a bad meal there. Plan on going back.

Food was good. Service was poor. Would like to go back on a weekend and try the buffet. I believe it is $13.

Hidden Gem, amazing food! Happy that family run restaurants are still possible. We need to support places like this , and reasonable prices.

We saw the good reviews for this place that was within walking distance of our hotel (not an easy…read morewalk due to lack of sidewalks). We love Indian food and had not had it in awhile. No one was in the restaurant when we arrived for dinner so the service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a big bottle of Flying Horse beer. They served complimentary papadam with a selection of sauce and "sort of" a green salad which was unusual for most Indian restaurants we've been to. For our mains we ordered the chicken vindaloo and Channa masala. Both were very tasty and the right spiciness as ordered. We also got some naan and raita. Thumbs up for the food. The restaurant got a bit busier, maybe a quarter filled, and that is when the service slipped. We asked for the check at least three times before it was brought out. We waited15 minutes... Minus one star.

But this restaurant is amazing. The food was phenomenal. We love Indian food but this was on another level. We tried 4 different kinds of naan, all pillowy and fresh and so good with all the different sauces. Garlic was our fave. The rice is perfect, the chicken melts in your mouth, and for the most adventurous among us the goat was loved. Do yourself a favor if you're in the Youngstown area stop here, if you're just driving though stop here. Ignore everything around it. Super friendly service and crazy good fresh authentic food!
