Discovered this deli here in Lakeside on the corner of Woodside Avenue and Channel Road and I have now ordered here twice and I'm hooked on how delicious,fresh, great customer service and how quickly these wonderful ladies work on getting my order done. The deli restaurant is very clean, and there's so many different delicious items to choose from and they even have smoothies, iced coffees, and will be open and serving breakfast at 7am very soon! They use delicious meats and cheeses from Boar's Head yum and their breads, and rolls are so fresh and soft. We will continue to keep coming back! read more

Shot over here for a quick sandwich having never been to a deli belly location. I did look at the reviews before hand, but still decided to go since deli options were very limited. Inside the deli was clean and well kept which is what we want when going to a sandwich shop. The staff however, not the most polite you'll meet. We purchased some sandwich combos and picked them up. Once there we asked if they could add some more bags of chips at checkout. The lady at the register said in a stern voice "ive already put your chips in the bag" We held up a couple more bags and told her we wanted to ADD chips. No apologies for her Attitude. The sandwiches though...dry and bland. Meat didnt taste fresh and as though they left it out and it dried out a bit. Bread was of cheap quality. There was a sign saying it was under new ownership so we thought it might be better than the last time we came which was many years ago. The service was good and the store looked clean. We got the Ruben and a Tuna sandwich. The tuna had good flavor because of the celery and seasoning, however, it appeared that they just opened the can, broke it up and added the celery and seasoning, there was no mayonnaise mixed in, tuna was dry and falling out of the sandwich. There was very little mayonnaise on one side of the bread only, very little lettuce and tomato and three thin slices of purple onion. The rye bread for Ruben was not warmed and was dry and falling apart. Again, very small amounts of ingredients in the sandwich. Meat was barely warm and flavorless. The cost was $26.49 for both and a total rip off. We have learned our lesson and will never return. read more

Don't go here if your skin isnt white. Ordered 2 smoothies. Every white person that came in after me and ordered whole MEALS and smoothies got their meals and smoothies first. 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks came out to $55.00, plus tip. The sandwiches were small, the fountain soda was flat and tasted like the machine had run out of syrup on 2 of the sodas I tried, yet a large fountain drink is $3.95 each, you'd think they at least had it stocked with what they advertise. Don't waste your money here go somewhere like Jersey Mikes so you at least get a decent sized sandwich and a drink for $20. Disappointed I wasted $55 on this less than mediocre food. I'm mad at myself for wasting money here and we are still hungry. Seriously felt like I got ripped off by this place. First time eating, and the ladies messed up my order after asking and reminding a couple of times for a specific ingredient and it was not given. I wasn't being rude about it or anything! It's just disappointing because I heard really good things about this place. Service was friendly, food is good, the bathroom and eating area are clean. One star seems too high but here goes. I have frequented this Deli Belly in Lakeside on Woodside Avenue, for at least the past 3 years they have been there. In the beginning, their sandwiches were exceptional and value driven. The selection of sides and of different unique drinks were vast. However, I have noticed the past few times of ordering, the meat on the sandwiches have gotten smaller and smaller. The selections have become quite minuscule and the quality of the salads no longer feel as if they were made fresh. This is disappointing because the prices in that location have increased while the portions, variety and quality of their offerings have declined. I wish whoever runs the franchise licensing looks into this operator because they seriously need a readjustment of the original vision. Will be going to other sandwich shops in the future. Even Subway does better than this location and they are more affordable for the value. read more

The sandwich was half the amount of meat of the one I got a month ago. The lady gave me the wrong bread. I had asked for light mayo. She put on a huge amount. I had to scrape off most of it when I got home. We arrived at 7 45 to order 2 basic sandwiches and were told bluntly "I am closing at 8 so you know. " if food isn't served until 8 then change the time listed as open until. Also $37 for 2 sub par sandwiches and a soup, served with attitude, is too much. I just spent $20 on CBR wrap and a soda and it was the grossest wrap I've EVER HAD!! Chicken was hard and tasted funny and the bacon was old and you couldn't even bite through it! Placed an order through a delivery service and was very disappointed with the sandwich that I ordered. I ordered The Frankie sandwich which was supposed to have four different meats and I only saw two in the sandwich. The sandwich was missing the tomato and onion that was in the sandwich description and had a few shreds of lettuce and some olives. Asked for Mayo and mustard and didn't get that either. I parked in a handicapped stall in front of this business, as I am disabled. (Its also the only handicapped parking for this shopping strip) While my vehicle may not have been perfectly aligned within the lines, it was parked as safely and securely as possible. Upon returning from my lunch, I was approached by a disgruntled woman who emerged from the Deli Belly business and complained that I was taking up two spots. Came here earlier and got a BLT combo and chicken salad. Everything here is always fresh and ready to be prepared, the staff are always super nice and they have usually have good music playing. Plenty of bread lol. The bread was fresh but for being a club sandwich where was the toppings and very little meat. There was a small piece of bacon for both halves. It was just one piece cut in half. I could of got more meat and toppings at subway for less $. It wasn't horrible and I did read the reviews I guess I should of paid more attention to the one that said "if you like bread" they weren't lying. read more

Went to eat there a couple days ago and the owner i believe gave my boyfriend a hard time for keeping the door open for someone with a wheel chair and I found it rlly aggravating. Not necessarily quick, the wait to order and the wait to receive your food both have been up to 10 minutes for me at certain visits. The bill adds up really quick if you get side and a drink but skip that and you pay a fair price with just the Sammie. It's a good portion, I can usually make it two meals. Any sandwich I've ever ordered and the reviews from other customers while waiting around on other items I've not yet tried are all fantastic. Chipotle so Gouda sandwich on an onion roll is my fave and goto which it never disappoints! Jerk chicken is a close second. When Deli Belly first came to Lakeside it was Fire! Now the sandwiches Suck big time, the women who were in making the sandwiches have NO customer service and acted like you bothered them to make an order. I got the Spicy Italian sandwich and changed a few things on it. I asked instead of the 3 pepper Jack cheese to substitute it for provolone cheese. Did not get that, got the stupid Colby Jack cheese. They USED to make your sandwich right then and there while you were standing there and asked if you wanted this or that but they don't do that anymore. These ladies, I have dealt with them the last time I was here and they REALLY need to act nice and not like you are bothering them. I will NEVER darker the door to this place again!
