I've always heard people talking about this spot and I'm finally glad I was able to give it a try. They also have a location in Fort Lauderdale, but this is their plantation location. It's kind of well hidden, but that only makes it better. They have some awesome refrigerators with hundreds of drink choices as well as beer tap. They have comfortable couches a ton of seating options and they also have a ton of board games. I think this is a really chill spot. If you wanted to go somewhere that was a low-key but also out. Their drinks are also very affordable, which makes you want to stay for longer! They also have a ton of great food choices. I saw options that people were eating that I definitely wanna try next time! However, I was able to try the fried pickles which I thought were delicious as well as the nachos. We stopped by here before going to Cypress Golf a few doors down and it was the perfect bite before going. We just got some onion rings and two beers. I am not going to lie, we originally were headed to Webby's next door but they were closed for a private birthday party, so we ended up at Riverside Market after reconsulting Yelp. We are mad at ourselves that this is the first time we have ever been here. Drinks (including canned sodas, Gatorade and every beer you can think of) are serve yourself plus they do have some beers on tap. First - service is super friendly. If it's your first time there it can be a little confusing on ordering but we figured it out and we were well taken care of. We were going to start with pretzel bites but we had a little snafu after a long talk about pickles and my pickle phone case so we ended up with the fried pickles. They were amazing and they weren't spears or slices they were bite size barely breaded (yay!) bites with a little bit of heat sauce. So good! They are obviously not made from frozen and are soooooo good! We then had the pretzel bites. It came with a thick cheese sauce that had a kick. My husband and I loved them too! I had a caprese hoagie (pressed) small. And my husband has a small North Fork small hoagie. It looked amazing and was HUGE for a small. We also had handcut fries. I love when restaurants serve fresh cut fries. They just taste different. So good. All in all, we loved it! There is something for everyone to eat and we are so happy we ended up here by default! Came with friends to watch the hockey game with friends. Arrived around 6:30 on a Friday night. Plenty of seating for our group of six. Bar has a home relaxed feeling. Service was spot on. Dropped in here on a Friday night for a couple beers and appetizers. The beer selection was very expensive to include beers in the fridge and on tap. Pretty cool concept of serving yourself with the fridge beers and checking out at the end. Sat at the bar and ordered "hot chicks" deep fried chick peas and fried pickles. The "hot chicks" were good but a little heavy on the seasoning. Probably wouldn't get them again but definitely would order the pickles. Very good deep fried chunks with a tasty dipping sauce. While Riverside Market is a neighborhood favorite and I spot we've hit often, it's not without its faults. The on tap selection tends to vary in terms of availability and at times the beer is not very cold. Additionally, the place needs a good deep cleaning. Last time we were there the restrooms were in a deplorable state. It was not planned to eat here, but the place we were going to was closed for a private party and this place was a few door down. It's an interesting place, there a few tables, a comfy looking sofa and several chairs you find in someone's living room. It's more like place you would go to have a few drinks and relax. All the bottle or can drinks are self service and the bar has draft beer. There is very limited table service, the bartender handles that too. The menu is small but what's on it is done very good. We weren't planning on having fried pickles, but they out the wrong appetizer. These were the best fried pickles I've ever had. They weren't pickles spears or chips that are so thin there is nothing left of the pickle when they are done. These are pickles chunks! And are they good! We did order the pretzel bits, they just as good as the pickle bits, it was combined with a spicy cheese dipping sauce. For lunch my wife had a caprese hoagie, was excellent, I had the north fork hoagie and it was also excellent. We finished it off with a side of fries, also really good. First visit. I ordered in store two subs to go. A cold capresei and for the North fork. Server took my order quickly. Stepped out to running quick errand next door. And the food was ready when I was back. My wife thought the caprese was a little bland. She still enjoyed it but could have done with more sauce/seasoning/something. I thought mine was great. The portion was good. I love pickles and they did not skimp. The combination of the sour and spicy was great. A tad difficult to eat. There were no napkins in the bag sadly. I wish we were able to sit down and enjoy some brews as it would have paired well. Next time though! This place is a little dive that I happened upon while at the Savy Suds laundromat. Has a Rustic appearance and when we walked in it was empty inside, aside from a lone lady standing behind the counter at the bar. She welcomed us warmly and passed us a menu. I only needed a light snack to-go because my clothing was in the machine and we know how people stalk machines in a laundromat. I ordered garlic hummus, a side salad, and an order of fries. While we waited, I noticed they had an extensive amount of beers that I'd never seen before, including IPA's. This place has a very chill vibe and I'll bet it's mainly locals that come here since it's tucked away off any main roads and sits in a small plaza with a few other restaurants and businesses. It really smelled good inside like good food was cooking. Our order came out pretty quickly and the young lady that helped us was super polite! I truly enjoyed the garlic hummus. It was perfectly creamy and flavored exactly the way I like my hummus and the warm pita bread was soft and delicious. It came with fresh carrots and celery to dip in as well. My side salad had nice greens and was fresh and yummy with the banana peppers mixed in. My daughter's French fries were served piping hot and were yummy! Unfortunately, we took the food to go and ate it standing outside of the laundromat so I didn't get to take pics but trust me, it was appealing to the eye as well. This is such a cool spot and I really enjoy that you can just grab whatever beer of your choosing, it's perfect for indecisive people like me who don't want to waste the servers time. I come here usually after a hair cut and it is a great place to study, read, have a devo etc. Nothing like spending time with the LORD with a beer lol! The wings they were able to bake which was fantastic. I got the sweet chili. The service was great. The bartender kept coming to check in on me and kept suggesting good beers . I had some red ales this time around. The ambiance in the afternoon is great. Since it's was studying, I just put my headphones on and played some lofi. It wasn't packed at the time I went. I prefer beer over coffee. The best part would probably be the price. Beer is around 7 dollars each (which is cheaper than restaurants) but my wings were only 12$. I would recommend coming here. A very nice selection of draft beers, well curated, but the real star is the long row of coolers with every category you could want and plenty of both knowns and unknowns. I love dark beer and they had so many brown ales, porters, stouts... if you love them too you know how rare that is in South Florida. Food doesn't have to be good when the beer is this good, but everything was delicious. I couldn't resist trying the PB&J beer, which did have strong notes of both. I'm a vegetarian, so I appreciate the huge menu of options! I pretty much always go for the hummus (they have 4 flavors) and do a combo of pita & veggies. Pizza...pizza....pizzaaaaa If you like really thin and crispy pizza, then you gotta come here. I've been going to the original Riverside Market down in Ft Lauderdale for quite some time. When the Plantation location opened up, I tried it and wasn't completely happy with what I got. However, a year later, I was craving some of that thin pizza and decided to get some take out. This time was a completely different experience. It was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Also got the hand cut fries with a side of cheese sauce as well as a grilled cheese with bacon. The fries were perfect and the grilled cheese was also good. However, its probably better to eat it there as it didn't play well with my air fryer. They have a huge selection of beers just like all the other locations, but thats not much of my thing. But if its yours, then you will love it. I'm glad they got up to the level of the Ft. Lauderdale location and will be ordering food more often going forward. read more

Wow, after all the wonderful experiences at Riverside Market, I finally had a truly awful one. The wings were really awful. So I sent them back.. I think that was the first thing that upset our server Jackie. I think she also thought I took a picture of her which I did not because I always ask. The beer was great. They were slammed and I think unfortunately my request was not received well. I have a digital pub pass which will gives me a $1 beer at certain establishments like Riverside Market. The manager Gary who was also the cook today was unfamiliar with the pass. So they denied it, which did not make me very happy. I questioned Jackie our server about my bill which read "extra pita for $2." We didn't order extra Pita, but we did order celery and carrots which I guess doesn't usually come with the wings we sent back. Or maybe it does and Jackie felt the need to charge us for something extra. Whatever the case, Jackie our server got extremely upset to the point she was yelling. Can't remember her words because at that point the communication was not there. Suffice to say she did not get a tip. Wish I could take money back for the absolute horrible service. I did get to talk to the manager Gary before I left. He did apologize, but at that point it was too little too late. I will return because I still need to use my Pub Pass. I do expect more next time I visit which I did articulate to Gary the manager. In their defense, this is not typical of what I have experienced in the past and I have been here more times than I can count. read more
