Stopped in for a quick lunch at Deli Boy. They have a very classic deli style ordering where all their meats are fresh sliced for each sandwich. I got their classic tuna with lettuce, tomato and black olive and he got an Italian with the works. Both sandwiches were pretty good, super fresh ingredients and bread, but I wounding say it's the best I've ever had. I love that they carry Lutz chips, especially the voodoo flavor, which are the best chips ever. Their dine-in area was very clean with lots of tables and they also have tables outside. Only interaction with employees was when ordering - no one was very welcoming or friendly. I would return if it was convenient and looking for a sub. read more

I have been here twice in the last 3 months. I had the Roast Beef small sub, the beat was fresh and hand sliced, the veggies were fresh and the bread was fresh. I had the Tuna small sub, the tuna and veggies were fresh. Both subs were great and had a decent price for what I got. I would have given it 5 stars if the amount of meats were larger portions like many years ago. I will be returning and overall they have a great sub, better than Publix. Thought I had reviewed Deli Boy Subs before. Guess not. Have been coming here for years! This is my favorite sub shop. I get the vegetarian sub. I know you may think a vegetable sub sounds boring, however it is delicious! I love their bread too. I'm not a big fan of their whole wheat bread. Not my thing. Sadly I called my order in from the pearling lot yesterday for a pastrami sub and my vege sub.... and for some reason they made my vege sub on Whole Wheat. Yuck! So it was Not as enjoyable as I would have liked. I don't want to dock them stars for that though. The hot pastrami I was told was delicious. The subs are large. For a matter of fact I will be eating my other half today and will put it on my own bread. They have fountain drinks, chips, brownies, cookies, chicken salad, tuna salad etc too. Currently during COVID they have the floor taped off to keep social distancing and require face masks to come in. The employees have face masks and gloves on. Bring $1, $5, and $10 bills. They run low on those so you can help out this way. No one was eating inside, there were people eating outside. I will make sure next time I call in my order they use white bread. Enjoy! read more

Don't usually do this but this is not the first time this has happened. Actually happened the past 2 or 3 times I have gone to get a sub. I ordered a sub and wanted Honey Mustard, lettuce, onions, oil and vinegar and salt and pepper. Nothing crazy. I get home looking forward to eating my sub and when I take the first bite it has to be the most dry sub ever. No taste of honey mustard or the oil and vinegar. Then I open up the sub to look and definitely no honey mustard on the bread, barely any lettuce and onions also and no sign of any oil and vinegar, so just basically a bare sub Don't know what is going on there, but like I said before, not the first time this has happened and becoming more of a regular thing. Thinking it might be time to go someplace else and give up on them here after enjoying their subs for a long time read more

After coming here several times we learned that it is a sub shop that started in New Jersey inside a convenience store in 1965 by the current owner's parents and they relocated to South Florida in the early nineties! I went today for my first time and all I've got to say is I've been missing out! I got a foot long turkey with provolone cheese on wheat with lettuce pickles tomatoes hot and sweet peppers onions mayonnaise and mustard. It was extremely fresh, delicious, and unlike any other sub I've had before. The prices were very fair as well. I ordered mine togo and the service was decently quick, workers were fast friends and efficient. I will definitely be back for more! read more

You choose what you want...what toppings...which bread....and they send it down the most delicious assembly line you will ever see. They are quick and efficient. AS I mentioned...the TUNA. That's what you want to get. I'm sure everything else is great, but I've never ventured to try anything else. The tuna has been my go-to since day one. I've been dining here for over 10 years.. So that must say something great about the business. Deli Boys is my "go-to" place whenever I'm looking for a sandwich. They serve cold and hot sandwiches. They also serve salads and things by the pound. I typically order the #1 which is an Italian or the #8 which is a turkey and cheese. I love the fact that the lunch meat is sliced right in front of you and you can see the employees make your sandwich right before your eyes. The sandwiches are always consistent with huge proportions. The sandwiches are always delicious & that's why I've been coming here for so long. The one downside one might say is that they don't serve Boras Head lunch meat. I am the #1 fan for Boras Head lunch meat but I like the lunch meat Deli Boys uses. I don't have a problem whatsoever. One might compare Deli Boys to Laspadas, but in my opinion Deli Boys is better (and it's cheaper too). read more

The first will be which type of sandwich you would like from the board. There are various cold and hot options. My favorite sandwich is the Egg Salad. You can choose between white and whole wheat bread. I only choose the whole wheat. Then you have the choices between different condiments, topping, and seasoning. I like all the veggies and oil/vinegar. For salads they have a choice of potato and coleslaw. Dessert they have cookies, chocolate, and rice pudding. Someone recommended this place saying it was better than LaSpada. We were in the shopping center on Sunday and decided to give it a try. We walked in and two bored kids were working, neither could acknowledge us walking in. The girl had a huge mop of hair protected only by a visor, no hair net or anything. It is a real personal pet peeve of mine when someone working with food is not wearing what is required by the health dept., so we walked out. We will just go to LaSpada in the future. read more

Hidden gem, usually visited by locals in the know. In half of a sandwich they will have as much meat as an endow Subway sub. They DO NOT skimp on the meat. It taste fresh, the bread is soft but doesn't fall apart and become a mess, it holds up to the fillings. The meat melt in your mouth! Every table is equipped with salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil so you can add as much as you want. If you want a good and filling lunch and you're in the area, stop by. There's also an ice cream place down the Plaza that's really good, if you have space for dessert (I always make some). read more

It's about time I wrote a review for my favorite local sub shop. They are conveniently located right down the street from me on Hiatus and 84 in the Winn-Dixie plaza. I always find myself here when I'm running errands and in need of a bite to eat. The staff is friendly and continually make me feel welcomed each and every time I come here. Easy ordering, fast service, and great prices. My go-to favorites would be the chicken salad sub and the Roast Beef and Swiss, but you can't go wrong with any other choice. They fill their subs with the perfect amount of meat and toppings. The bread is always fresh, soft, and delicious. I've heard rave reviews about their tuna salad and ended up having a sample the last time I went in, and I am totally having a tuna sub the next time I go by. They have a selection of chips, salads, and desserts to choose from also to complement your meal. The oatmeal raisin cookies are my favorite!! Seriously Best Sub I've ever had! I had the chicken salad sub with everything on it except hot peppers and added provolone cheese. I love how they layered the sub with the condiments and veggies on bottom, chicken in the middle and cheese on top. And it was packed with flavor. Loved this spot! I was in the area looking for a place to eat and found this low-key spot! Plenty of parking available and easy to get to. The moment you walk in you'll notice right away how pristine it is. The menu has a wide variety of subs and salads, all of which looked delicious! I got the meatball sub and I loved it! Meatballs were hardy and the amount of Parmesan cheese was just perfect. The prices were affordable, which makes it a great alternative to the fast food places they have around there.
