Delicious, delicious, delicious. Which is why it really saddens me that they use cream cheese frosting. And only cream cheese frosting. Walking into the smallish store their bundt cakes are displayed in such a way that I want to buy everything they have to offer. Mini bundt cakes. Regular size bundt cakes. Bigger bundt cakes. Themed. Non-themed. Weird flavors. Regular flavors. All the flavors. And the staff is more than happy to answer every single question you may have to throw at them. For hours. It is a wonderful bakery of bundt cakes. Why can't they have more than one kind of frosting? I'm not asking for a frosting bar (although far be it from me to be the one to discourage that kind of thinking), but cream cheese frosting is a very specific flavor and not everybody likes it. Buttercream seems like a pretty easy, and the odds of someone liking it if they do not like cream cheese frosting are pretty good. When I asked about an alternative the staff was very nice about it, I just could not hide my surprise. I really want those bundt cakes, but unless something is done about that hideous frosting, I am going to have to take a pass. This makes me sad.
