The food wasn't bad -- it was filling. But the service made for an absolutely excruciating experience. Just getting a soda was an Olympic feat. From the menu, I chose a diet sprite. She wrote it down. She brought a regular dr browns cream soda. No I said. She returned with an opened can of diet dr browns cream soda. I said, you wrote it down (a diet sprite). She said yes, but I don't know where I wrote it (!). A few minutes later she returned. They didn't have diet sprite. How about a caffeine free Coke? (Again reading from the menu). Nope. How about a regular sprite? Yup. Finally... We both ordered their soup and sandwich. He ordered chicken noodle soup and I ordered matza ball soup. They brought two bowls of matza ball soup. My half sandwich of pastrami o rye was fine. His half Bologna sandwich was fine. They brought us both coleslaw. Everyone else around us was asked which side salad they wanted. Luckily it was the kind of slaw I like... Glad we came. Now we know it's not for us.

Fox (faux) News on the TV .First impression. The positives : the sandwiches are deli sized portions and food is good. Not so positives: After attempting to order six different beverages listed on the menu we gave up because they were out of each drink we wanted, I went with Water, ( fortunately they did have that). I ordered Chicken Noodle soup with a half Baloney sandwich, what I received was Matzoh and noodles soup and half a Baloney. I guess the first waitress gave up and another waitress brought our food to the table. Meanwhile we had to listen the kitchen talking about how Sarah Palin should run for office again and how terrible the withdrawal from Afghanistan was. What the ??? The correct name for this place should be DELI ON "WRY", it being more descriptive and fitting.

Check out the signature specials for lunch . Order the pancakes or challah French toast for breakfast. Matzoah ball soup, or Nova platter with an everything bagel toasted.

Friendly service, amazing chicken salad and red skinned potato salad. Lean pastrami sandwich with chpoped liver was a home run. Lots of character and lots of celeb-signed pictures on the wall in this inviting deli with lots of regulars. Looking forward to a return when I'm back in town.

Very good high quality food. The Black Russian was amazing. Visiting from Texas, owner was very friendly and welcoming. Great service.

The gravy was creamy yet had that bite of smokiness from the meat. The home fries were a large size and not your typical normal freezer bag of potatoes. You could find it online Or on the chalkboard and you order at the counter, they bring your food to the table. We ordered a variety , BLT, Roasted Turkey sandwich, breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a regular breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage and home fries. Everyone loved their meals and it came out timely. Parking was free and prices were very fair. I will definitely return but not for a Sunday brunch! Way too loud for us old girls!!!

The casual nature of the restaurant itself along with the friendly staff make for a relaxing visit. Our server was Martha and she was a lot of fun! Hubby had the Açaí Bowl, my friend had the Smoked Brisket Melt, and I had the Chicken and Waffles. While the other two thoroughly enjoyed their meals, I was disappointed because they described the waffles in my dish as Belgian. If you know what a real Belgian waffle is, you would be disappointed as well getting a regular waffle that's just fluffier than normal. I dislike when restaurants do this - these are not Belgian waffles. The only redeeming quality is that they serve the dish with strawberry butter. Sounds weird but the taste was excellent. If you do stop by, keep in mind that the portions are fairly large so prepare to take some home with you or split a dish.

Staff was nice. - The decor is a "casual surfer beach house" theme, and they also have lots of signage near the small bar in support of the Buffalo Bills (all opposing teams be warned, I can only imagine the place during regular NFL season!) - The menu had quite a bit to choose from, including a bottomless booze option for $20 (nice!) - The staff is on the younger side so I was expecting far less than the kind service we received... definitely a bonus! - The food was good... we had the Burger and the Shrimp Quesadilla - Price was pretty reasonable for the portions & quality CONS: - My order got messed up a touch... not the end of the world but caused me to purchase something I didn't want - No Gluten-Free breads available (although they do have corn tortillas!) All in all a solid 4 stars, really only because there was nothing about the brunch that made me consider going above that rating. It really was all... good!

Outside, you'll find a turf-covered yard with a couple of tables and chairs. On weekends it gets busy, so I recommend getting here early if you're planning on dining in. The drinks we ordered: - Seasonal gingerbread iced latte, which was probably one of the best gingerbread lattes I've had. The drink was topped with cinnamon cold foam and a piece of gingerbread-flavored cake. - Lutinni iced latte with chocolate and hazelnut perfect for chocolate lovers! It comes with a Ferrero Rocher. The food: - avocado toast - kept it simple this time around but this toast never disappoints. She apologized when coming back but it was a little odd, we waited about five mins or so. I told her I was considering the tiramisu latte or the pistachio latte and I was hoping she could help steer me in a direction. I asked what she thought between the two and she clearly found my question odd bc there was a long pause before she said it depends what I'm in the mood for. Which isn't very helpful at all lol. And she said it with a bit of sass, like what a dumb question to ask. I don't think my question was that outlandish, many places have specific favorites or recommendations. After discovering the tiramisu latte relies on the cream top that can only be made using cream and no non-dairy products, I decided against that one. Without the cream top, it's just a vanilla latte she told us. Typically the pistachio latte is made with syrup and a pistachio butter but she said even the pistachio butter is made with condensed milk. We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.
