We have been to other Bagels With Deli locations and we were happy to have this one open up so close to Costco. Let's give it a try! At 10:15 on a mid-week morning, the deli was bustling. Welcoming staff seemed excited to take your orders. The owner was overseeing everything and checking on the guests. Tables were bussed and cleared promptly. You could tell there were a lot of elderly fancy-pants patrons from nearby gated communities. If a bagel store could exude electricity, then there you go. It was ever present here. As far as the bagels go, we shared an everything flagel with lox cream cheese and a cup of very hot, rich-brewed coffee. The flagel was crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, just how I like it. They serve the cream cheese on the side (not because we asked for it that way) and it was a little stingy. It was the opposite of the thick layer you normally get on a bagel, so at first I thought it was a smart idea but then I realized, it really was way too stingy of a portion. The parking situation is going to be a sticking point. It is just way too small and tight. Oy vey.

Our son goes to school down the street so were in the area for a visit; stopped here to grab a quick bite. Menu is great (ton of options but not overwhelming), bagels are huge, and muffins were delicious! Friendly, helpful staff and they even bring your items to your table. Large space with nice seating outside. This may have been a 1-time visit for us but will probably become a regular stop for our son!

Very good lox bagel spread. The salt bagel was toasted perfectly. The man who took our order was super friendly. The space is limited but the tables turn fast.

I was driving by this week while in town with my husband for work and I noticed this place at the intersection of Clint Moore and Military Trail. This morning we decided to give it a try for breakfast. It was a great decision. The interior is brand new and bright. They have a great "place order here" sign that directs you to the bagel case. It has all kinds of flavored bagels as well as muffins. The menu offers plenty of breakfast sandwiches and omelets for breakfast. For lunch they have soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and paninis. I opted for the Delray breakfast bagel which came with scrambled eggs and cheese. It was hot and fresh and tasty. You can choose your own bagel for the sandwich. My husband had two fried eggs with a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel. He also loved his meal. We both also had an iced coffee from their prefilled machines. That was a convenient way to serve the iced coffee. Service was friendly and quick. A nice new addition to this area of Boca.

I love the touch of salt they add to their everything bagels. The omelet was cooked perfectly, and they have some of the best cold brew coffee around compared to other bagel shops. Nothing else in that whole Mizner-adjacent area was open yet -- not even the diner down the block, which doesn't start serving until 7. The bagels looked pale, so I asked if they baked onsite. Answer: no, the fresh bagels usually get delivered later in the morning. That immediately told me everything I needed to know and saved me from making a bad decision. The bakery case looked decent enough -- black and white cookies, pastries, etc. -- but since nothing is actually made there, I have to assume most of it was yesterday's inventory. Ended up ordering a Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a Kaiser with a large coffee. Fifteen bucks. Look, I understand East Boca commercial rents are insane, especially anywhere remotely near Mizner. But $15 for a breakfast sandwich and coffee from a place that isn't even baking its own bagels is absolute highway robbery. To be fair, the sandwich itself was solid. The Taylor ham ratio was right, eggs were fresh, and the Kaiser roll held up. But the whole operation feels less like a real bagel shop and more like an early-morning survival outpost for caffeine-deprived Boca commuters.

The sandwich itself was good, made with quality ingredients and solid flavor overall. The bread and fillings were fresh, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

I think there were more folks doing takeout than dining in. We asked -- as it wasn't on the menu -- but they do offer a half sandwich and soup option. Your choices of soup are noodle, or matzah ball, or soup of the day. And you can choose any of the deli meat sandwiches. I had their matzah ball soup with a half pastrami sandwich. He had the chicken noodle with a half corned beef. The sandwiches come with a pickle slice and coleslaw. The matzah ball was light and fluffy. The soup base was flavorful. The pastrami was a bit fatty and grisly so I had to deconstruct it. The rye was soft in the center and got a tad soggy from the meat, but had a nice outer edge crust. I think I'd get the corned beef instead in the future. I gave my well marinated pickle to my husband -- I'm a half sour gal myself. But I liked the slightly sweet coleslaw. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.
