Our check in went smooth and the front desk staff was very nice. Sad that it was on a Saturday and no M Lounge, but we enjoyed the restaurant for an evening bite and breakfast the next morning. Parking was free which was great. There is valet service available for overnite if you need it. The breakfast buffet was very nice and you can tell they make sure everything looks nicely put together and neat and clean. That's impt to me, especially with breakfast buffets. The food was good and plentiful. The room was a very nice size, comfortable and we had plenty of room. The chargers worked on both sides of the bed, which was nice to see. We used points for this trip, and prices weren't too bad without the points. We will definitely be back when we need a place to stay in the Melville area.

I also spoke with a manager at checkout to provide a brief rundown of this experience. While she apologized and offered to add some points to my account, the gesture felt minimal given the inconvenience of the situation. ​We were extremely disappointed with this stay. Had we been able to switch hotels last minute, we absolutely would have. This is simply not the level of hospitality or standards I have come to expect from the Marriott brand.
