I walked in at 915pm on a Monday night and when I pulled up I realized the pizza slice case was empty. I figured I would walk in just to get a drink knowing they closed at 930 to be welcomed by all staff. Remaining slices were offered and the team of three even offered to warm up like it was not closing time. When I asked about knots they said no problem. What they didn't know is I hadn't eaten all day and just wanted a slice after long travel day. I was so thankful to be greeted, get great service, amazing food from an amazing place at closing time . I always remember to combination of service and food being really good but I have say even at closing the same standards! This pizza spot offers a large variety of slices to pick from. We tried the buffalo chicken slice, ziti slice, sweet chili chicken, and chicken parm slice. Everything was delicious, but I highly recommend the sweet chili chicken. The garlic knots were excellent too, and they weren't overcooked, which was great. I have not had such delicious penne, à la vodka, and fried calamari in very long. We stopped by here after going to White Post Farms. It's literally around the corner and it was so delicious. This place was a God send. We hit a hand-full of places before finding this one. As soon as pulled up, a sigh of relief came over us. Hungry and tired from driving around to some nasty looking spots. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the individuals working there. We ordered some cheesy garlic knots which were absolutely amazing. I got the chicken parm personal pizza and it did NOT disappoint. My wife went in on a reg slice and tried this pesto , veggie Sicilian thing that she said was amazing. We took a veggie pin wheel home and she cooked it 2 days later and said she cant wait for another! When we were saying grace for our meal, the employee kindly waited and the said Amen with us. Omg what an amazing place to go to eat listen to music and have great food. Everyone that's there is like family everyone talks to each other you can dance and have a great time. They have a bar you can sit at or eat in the restaurant part also. We went to go see Marty G and his band perform and what a great night. Food was so good and we were treated like royalty the min we arrived at the place from seating us to saying good bye to us. Must make reservations if you are gonna come see singing etc. Camielle our waitress was amazing she was so on top of everything that the night went so smooth. Five stars for the pizza but not a five star restaurant. It's a local pizza place with delicious pizza. We had the thin grandma pizza well done corner slice, amazing! Then we tried their white pizza, delicious. We also had to try their garlic knots, so good! We requested all of it well done and they complied perfectly. Overall their pizza was great. This is my absolute favorite pizza place, and I will never stop going. However, I will be avoiding weekends. Everything seems better during the week, including the pizza and the service. On weekends, the experience has not been the same. The older gentleman who usually works then tends to be a bit grouchy, which I noticed early on and did not mind at first, but lately I have also noticed a difference in food quality. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I ordered two slices and two specialty garlic knots to go. When we went to eat, the slices were lukewarm and burnt and the garlic knots were warmed to the point where the garlic tastes burnt and dried out. This has only been my experience on weekends. During the week, everything is consistently excellent, and I would still 100 percent recommend this as the best pizza place on Long Island. read more

I'm rating mainly on pizzeria menu items, and not the full blown dinner plates, as I haven't gone that route. But as far as pizza goes, this place is very good. I'm a bit of pizza snob, and feel like it's hard to find a great slice on the Island. The pizza here is right up my ally. Yes! This pizza hit the spot. The sauce is great - not sweet, not bitter, not watery - no shortcuts taken here. The crust was perfect NY style and the distribution of cheese - even. I loved every bite, and I wish I could take a pie back home to Denver. I tried the rice ball, too, and enjoyed it. It came with a side of marinera for dipping. Walking in the restaurant you get a warm greeting from the employees. I have never eaten there before but I have to say everything was really good. Good Pizzeria with good Grandma slices but with exceptionally bad service from the ownership - he just has a severe attitude problem, or did both nights I came in. Having said that, his pizza tastes really good. Yum yum. Somewhere between 4 and 5. I saw a lot of fighting between employees and owners and I didn't like the way he was treating them. They were so angry that I didn't even feel comfortable asking them to take a picture and it's probably the only place on the whole food tour of the NY area but I did not ask for a picture. I'm happy I found this place, as they've consistently proven to me that they make pretty damn good pizza. This time, I ordered the Buffalo chicken slice & a deep dish. I wasn't feeling the garlic knots so I omitted those (but they're super delicious & moist). The Buffalo chicken slice was alright (could use a little more cheese & softer crust). Otherwise, the sauce and the chicken were pretty good. The deep dish? Man........ excellent. Sooo moist & airy and soft and garlicky.... Almost like.. focaccia bread? Haha. It's amazing. The seasoning is well done & the sauce is delicious. Cheese was more than enough on this one. Definitely go try them out if you're new to the area... or maybe looking to try something new! Quick tip: parking lot gets pretty full really quickly here. I've found that rather than waiting for a spot to magically show up, it's quicker and better to find street parking on the side. Went for lunch while in the area and was very happy. They has so many different items available i wish I could have tried them all. I decided to go with a spinach artichoke slica and a buffalo chicken slice. I enjoyed both so much.
