I was hungry and tired from work on a Friday night, so I decided to order meatball parm hero and a slice of pizza from here. Right after ordering, I sat down and countless people were streaming in to order or pick up food. My food was taking a little longer than I thought, but I had heard really good things about this place and the number of people that kept coming in told me that it would be worth the wait. While I was waiting, the owner was running the show, taking orders, and checking on people to make sure everything was good. His interactions with people told me that there were lots of regulars - another good sign! He was really doing it all. After a little while, he came up to me and asked me how long I was waiting and then checked on my order. He made sure everything was set with my order, which I really appreciated. The food absolutely hit the spot. The pizza was not a pool of grease like many other pizzerias might give you, but instead was a good mix of crispy crust and melty cheese. I scarfed down the pizza and distinctly remember saying to myself how that was a REALLY GOOD SLICE. The meatball parm hero was also really tasty - the meatballs are cooked well and I liked the balance of meat, cheese, and sauce. The bottom line is that this place serves really good food that is deserving of the good reviews it gets, and the customer service is excellent. Great new addition to the Huntington Greenlawn area! I placed an online order and it was ready at the expected time. Very pleasant to do business with, and prices are very reasonable. Let me start out by saying that I am Italian American, and very picky about my pizza... Rocco's exceeded my expectations. We ordered the 18" Neapolitan pie and it was delicious and satisfying. The sauce was tasty with the flavor of some basil and there was a nice cheese pull. Crust was crispy and folded nicely. The mild Buffalo wings were giant sized, very meaty and nicely seasoned. Order comes with 6 wings and a good amount of Bleu cheese dip and celery sticks. We will definitely be returning! Try it, you won't be disappointed. read more

As I always say when reviewing pizza places, pizza is very subjective. That said, I've ordered from Rocco's twice and was not disappointed. About eight people ate the pizzas and all said they'd give either three or four stars. Personally I preferred the "Grandma" pizza to their standard pizza. Others preferred the Margarita pizza. Used their catering service for my daughter's engagement party. The food was excellent; very few leftovers because everyone went back for more! The owner spent time with me, tweaking the menu and making excellent suggestions. Owner is a dick, went to use the bathroom and was thinking about a slice, but when I checked out the pizza it looked gross. The cheese was plastic looking, and the pizzas were just sitting out on the counter The bathroom had roaches, and there was no toilet paper. When I was asked if I wanted something while hiding from the rain and waiting on my ride, the owner asked if I'd like something. If you're a Brooklyn transport and liked L&B upside down pizza then you have to stop in and give them a try. They are the closest pizza to spumoni gardens I ever had. You will not be disappointed. We had Rocco's cater our Super Bowl event this weekend. The owner Pete was so helpful and professional throughout the process. The food arrived right on time as scheduled. We ordered trays of Baked Ziti, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Francense, Sausage and Peppers and BBQ wings. The food was tasty and delicious and had all of our guests raving. Me and my family ate here for the first time last night. The owner came out to talk to us and we asked what he would recommend. He suggested that we order a Drunken Grandma pie and a Margherita pie. We did and they were delicious! There is pizza then there is this pizza -- very fresh tasting, and seriously delicious and nuanced flavors with every bite. I was honestly surprised how good it was. Went in late night and ordered a grilled chicken Alfredo. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm and it was very nice to be greeted with a warm welcome into the restaurant. It was also nice to see the owner giving the community job opportunities with explaining in a well respected tone while in training. The food was phenomenal. This was our second time for take out at Rocco's and it certainly will not be our last! We had Chicken and Broccoli rabe hero. Loaded with chk and the rabe was not bitter at all. Also had the sausage and peppers hero, again delicious ! Our third choice was Meatball parm hero and this had just the right amount of meatballs. The sauce is amazingly delicious! No agita after wards. That's when you know you had a great sauce!!!! Oh and the Gorgonzola salad with Raspberry dressing, fresh and plentiful!! Excellent Choce!!! Great flavors and nice-sized portions---the rigatoni bolognese was meaty and rich and the chicken sorrentino (eggplant, prosciutto, and mozzarella with a heavenly marsala sauce) was perfect!
