The restaurant has a nice selection of wines, and we ordered 2 glasses of a light, crisp and refreshing Gavi from the Piemonte region in Italy. For appetizer, we shared thinly sliced baked eggplant covered with ricotta salata & a sublime pomodoro basil sauce. The dish was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately I couldn't wait to dig my fork into it, and forgot to take a picture. For entrees I ordered a cavatelli bolognese. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the meat sauce has the authenticity of any pasta you would taste in Italy. My wife ordered, for her entree, pollo con carciofi. This was tender chicken breast piled high with artichoke hearts, Parma prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, & white wine & lemon francese sauce. The side dish were a bunch of farm fresh vegetables. My wife was blown away as to how delicious this dish was. For dessert we shared a scrumptious and creamy toasted coconut tiramisu. I was really looking forward to trying this place, but sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations. The margarita slice had way too much cheese, making it impossible to hold up without everything sliding off. The other slice with breadcrumbs was even worse so dry on top, it felt like biting into raw breadcrumbs. The onions were barely caramelized, adding to the disappointment. The only saving grace was the friendly and helpful girl at the counter, which is why I'm giving two stars. Unfortunately, the food just didn't cut it. read more

We are new to the area and had been searching for some quality pizza. As boogie ex-Brooklynites, we hold pizza to an exceedingly high standard, nothing we tried in the area was quite living up to it. The Sicilian slices are made with care, proofed to perfection and to me are a perfect combination of Grandma style mixed with Detroit style crust.
