Ordered a half sheet of birthday cake and came here because they offered to customize with edible image. That was what i really needed! The tres leches cake was warm so it was not very good. The image was cracked so it wasn't handled very well either. I waited fifteen minutes for them to get it from the kitchen so that was annoying because i was not picking up early. Bread is delicious drinks r basic but they have them they have a deli on the side that has awesome food. My son loved their asada torta. The ladies who work there n the men r all very kind hearted and treat you with dignity. They actually conversate with you. I seen them feeding someone who was homeless once as well. Awesome place. Their staff is not friendly at all, they're always rude. If you call they never pick up. The only reason I've gone back is their Tortas are delicious.. a they are a bit over priced. Not very clean several times I've gone and there is flies in their cases. So we don't get sweet bread there anymore. Several times I've placed orders and showed up tho oh we ran out. My father and I just visited today and all the ladies working there have the worst attitude and poor customer service! I purchased a cheese cake and it was for a birthday party. Everyone got a piece and was the worse cheese cake I had. It's ridiculous that I had to waste my time and the birthday party desert was ruined. However, I did call and they did give me a refund fund but with a lecture that this is how they make their cheese cakes?. They've been making birthday cakes for my family and friends for years so naturally I wanted them to make my wedding cake. They baker and I met a couple of times to discuss my ideas. We seemed to be on the same page and he even seemed excited to see how it would come out. When I saw my wedding cake, I wanted to cry!!! It was nothing like I had pictured. I even showed him lots of pictures so he can't say he didn't know. I was very disappointed. It was just horrible. Of all cakes to ruin he had to ruin my wedding cake :( my theme was purple and yellow and I wanted a purple 2 tier cake and I would later add the daffodils but what I got was a blue mess the cake was uneven like some parts were dark purple some were blue it was just all over the place. The only good thing about this place is that they make great tortas, as for the service it is terrible the ladies there act like the customers have all day to be waiting on them! I called in to order ahead of time because I already know how slow the service is. The lady that took my order said it would be ready in 10 min so I stopped by 15 min later and my order hadn't even been started! All I ordered was one torta! This place is a total rip off! Not only do they just leave their bolillo laying out in the open to get hard & stale, but the people have the nerve to charge you whatever the heck they want. They've charged me numerous prices for the same order, playing it off as taxes. I've never been charged 2 dollar taxes for tortas before. Complete B.S. The customer service isn't any better. You can be the only person in there & still have to wait 5 minutes before you're helped. Don't think I've just been here once. I've shopped here dozens of times, but enough is enough.
